About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Manna in the Morning and Quail at Night

Manna in the Morning and Quail at Night

Exodus 16:1-36            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

The children of Israel, took their journey from Elim & came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim & Sinai, on the 15th day of the 2nd month, after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

The whole congregation of [Israelites grumbled] to Moses & Aaron in the wilderness. The children [people] of Israel said, [We wished] God [that] we would [have] died at the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, [where] we sat by [pots of cooking meat] & ate bread [until they were full,] but instead we have been brought [out] into the wilderness to kill the whole assembly [of Israelites] with hunger.

Then, the Lord told Moses, [Look,] I will rain bread from heaven for you & the people shall go out & gather a certain [amount] every day, [so] that I may [test] them, whether they will walk in My law or [not.] It shall [happen] on the 6th day, they shall prepare [what] they bring in & it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

And Moses & Aaron said to the children of Israel, At [evening,] then you shall know the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt. In the morning, then they shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your [grumbling] against the Lord, [but who] are we, that you [complain] against us?

Moses said, [It] shall be, when the Lord gives you flesh to eat in the evening & bread in the morning to the full; for the Lord hears your [complaints] which you murmur against Him & what are we? Your [complaints] aren’t against us, but against the Lord.

Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to the congregation of the children [people] of Israel, Come near before the Lord, for He [has] heard your [complaints.] It came to pass, as Aaron [spoke] to the whole congregation, they looked toward the wilderness & [saw,] the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.

The Lord [said] to Moses, I have heard [the complaints] of the [people] of Israel. [Tell] them, At [twilight] you shall eat [meat] & shall be filled with bread in the morning & you shall know that I am the Lord their God.

It [happened,] that quails came in the [evening] & covered the [camp.] And in the morning, the dew lay [around the camp,] but when the dew was gone, behold, in the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as [fine] as frost on the ground. When the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, It is manna: for they didn’t [know] what it was.

And Moses [told] them, This is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather [daily] an omer for [each person,] according to the number of [people] in [your] tents [& how much they eat] & the [Israelites] did so. Some gathered more & some less.

When they [measured] an omer, he [who] gathered [more] had nothing [left] over & the he [who] gathered little had no lack. [Everyone] gathered according to his eating.  Moses said, [Don’t] leave [any] of it until morning. [However, they didn’t listen] to Moses, but some of them left it until morning & it bred worms [in it] & stank.

Moses was [angry] with them. [So] they gathered [what they needed] every morning, [because] when the sun [got] hot, it melted. On the 6th day they gathered twice as much bread, 2 omers for [each person,] instead of 1 & all the [leaders] of the congregation came & told Moses.

[Moses] said to them, This is [what] the Lord has said, Tomorrow is the [ceasing of work] of the Holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake today what you will bake & [boil] what you will [boil] & lay up for yourselves all that [remainsis] to be kept until morning.

They laid it up [until] the morning as Moses [directed] & it didn’t stink & neither were there any worms [in it.] Moses said, Eat [it] today; for it is the Sabbath to the Lord & you won’t find it in the field today. 6 days you shall gather it, but on the 7th day, which is Sabbath, there shall be none.

It [happened,] that some people went out to gather on the 7th day & found none. The Lord said to Moses, How long [do] you refuse to keep My commandments & My laws? For that, the Lord has given you the Sabbath, therefore He gives you bread for 2 days on the 6th day. Every man [stay] in his place, [so] let no man go out of his place on the 7th day.

So, the people [of Israel] rested on the 7th day. Therefore, the house of Israel called the bread, Manna. It was like coriander seed, white & the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

And Moses said, This is [what] the Lord commanded, Fill an omer of [manna] to be kept for your generations, [so] they may see the bread [which] I fed you in the wilderness when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.

And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot & put an omer full of manna [in there] & lay it up before the Lord, to be kept for [all] your generations & Aaron [did] as the Lord commanded Moses.

Aaron put it in the [Ark of the Covenant] in front of the Testimony [where the 2 tablets with the laws the Lord God gave to Moses are,] to be kept. The children of Israel ate manna [for] 40 years, until they came to the borders of Canaan, [the land they were to inhabit.] Now, an omer is 1/10 of an ephah.
