About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 23:1-44 The Feasts of the Lord God of Israel

The Feasts of the Lord God of Israel

Leviticus 23:1-44          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, Concerning the feasts of the Lord. You shall proclaim [them] to be a holy [assemblies,] even these are My feasts. Six days work shall be done, but the 7th day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy [assembly.] You shall not do [any] work on it.

It’s the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the Lord & holy [assemblies,] you shall proclaim at their [appointed times.] On the 14th day of the 1st month at [evening] is the Lord’s Passover. On the 15th day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord.

You must eat unleavened bread for 7 days. [Exodus 12:19 Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses. For [whoever] eats [what] is leavened, even that [person] shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he [is] a stranger, or born in that land.]

[On] the 1st day, you shall have a holy [assembly.] You shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] [Exodus 12:16 And [on] the 1st day, there shall be a holy [assembly for] you. No [type] of work shall be done [on] them, [except] that which every man must eat, only that, may be done [by] you.]

And the Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel & say to them, When you come into the land, which I give to you & shall reap [its] harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf [of grain] before the Lord, to be accepted for you.

[On the day] after the Sabbath, the priest shall wave it. [On the same] day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb of the 1st year without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord.

[It’s] a [meat/grain] offering & there shall be 2/10 of an [ephah] of fine flour [mixed] with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet [aroma]: the drink offering shall be 1/4 of a hin of wine.

You shall eat neither bread, nor [dried] corn or green ears [of corn] until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a [mandate] forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Count from the [day] after the Sabbath when you brought the sheaf as the wave offering & 7 [more] Sabbaths [are] complete & count 50 [more days] & you shall offer a new [meat/grain] offering to the Lord. You shall bring out from your [dwelling places,] 2 wave loaves of 2/10 [ephah] of fine flour & they shall be [baked] with leaven.

They are the first fruits to the Lord. With the bread, you shall offer 7 lambs of the 1st year without blemish, 1 young [bull] & 2 rams. They shall be a burnt offering to the Lord with their [meat/grain] offering & drink offerings as an offering made by fire [for] a sweet [aroma] to the Lord [God.]

Then you shall sacrifice 1 kid [goat] as a sin offering & 2 lambs of the 1st year as a sacrifice of a Peace Offering. The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the 2 lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.

You shall proclaim [that] same day that it is a holy [assembly] to you & you shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] It shall be a [mandate] to you forever in all dwellings throughout your generations. When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not [totally] reap the corners of your field, [nor] gather any [gleanings] from your harvest.

You shall leave them [for] the poor & [for] the stranger. I am the Lord your God. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to children [people] of Israel, saying, In the 7th month on the 1st day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath [rest,] a memorial of blowing of trumpets & a holy [assembly.]

You shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Also, on the 10th day of this 7th month, there shall be a Day of Atonement.

It shall be a holy [assembly for] you & you shall [humble] your souls & [make] an offering made by fire to the Lord. You shall not do [any strenuous] work [on] that same day, [because] it is a Day of Atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.

For [whoever hasn’t humbled] their soul that same day, shall be cut off from among his people. I will destroy [any person] from among his people [who] does any work that same day. You shall not do [any type] of work. It shall be a [mandate] forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

It shall be a Sabbath of rest & you shall [humble yourselves.] In the 9th day of the month at [evening,] from [evening] to [evening,] you shall celebrate your Sabbath. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, The 15th day of the 7th month, shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for 7 days to the Lord [your God.]

On the 1st day, [there] shall be a holy [assembly] & you shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] For 7 days you shall [present] an offering made by fire to the Lord. On the 8th day you shall have a holy [assembly for] you. You shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly & you shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.]

These are the Feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy [assemblies,] to [present] offerings made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering & a [meat/grain] offering & a sacrifice & drink offerings, everything on [its] day: [in addition to] the Sabbaths to the Lord, [in addition to:] your gifts, all your vows, all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord.

Also, on the 15th day of the 7th month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep [the] Feast of the Lord for 7 days & the 1st day [there] shall be a Sabbath [rest] & on the 8th day shall be a Sabbath [rest.]

On the 1st day, you shall take for yourselves the [branches of strong:] trees, palm trees, thick trees & willows of the brook & you shall rejoice before the Lord for 7 days. You shall keep it as a Feast to the Lord, your God, 7 days in the year. It shall be a [mandate] forever in your generations & you shall celebrate it in the 7th month.

You, [who] are [native] born Israelites shall dwell in booths for 7 days, [so] your generations may know that I made the children [people] of Israel dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God. Moses declared the Feasts of the Lord to the children of Israel.
