About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Deuteronomy 2:1- 37 What Happened in the Wilderness During the 38 Years

What Happened in the Wilderness During the 38 Years

Deuteronomy 2:1-37      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

Then we turned [around] & took our journey into the wilderness by the [road] of the Red Sea & we [wandered around] Mount Seir many days, as the Lord [told] me.

The Lord [spoke] to me, saying, You have [wandered around] this mountain long enough. Turn northward. Command the people [of Israel,] saying, You are to pass through the [coastal territory] of your brethren, [Esau’s] children [who live] in Seir.

They [will] be afraid of you, [so pay attention to not bother] them; for I won’t give you [any] of their land, not [even a footstep’s worth;] because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.

You shall buy [food] to eat & water to drink [from] them for money. For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the [work] of your [hands.] He [has watched over your journey] through the great wilderness these 40 years.

The Lord your God has been with you & you [haven’t lacked anything.] When we passed by our brethren, [Esau’s] children, [who live] in Seir, [we went] through the [road] of the plain from Elath & from Ezion Gaber.

We turned & passed by [on the road] of the Wilderness of Moab. The Lord said to me, [Don’t upset] the Moabites [or] battle with them. For I won’t give you their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to [Lot’s] children for a possession.

The Emims [lived there in the] past, a [strong, multitude] of tall people, [considered giants like] the Anakims. But the Moabites called them Emims.

The Horims [used to live] in Seir, but [Esau’s] children [people lived there next,] when they had destroyed them & [lived in Seir instead of them, like] Israel did to [those who possessed their] land, [that] the Lord gave to them.

I [Moses] said, Now [get] up & go over the Brook Zered & we [did.] [It took] 38 years from [when we left] Kadesh Barnea, until we [went] over the Book Zered; until all the [previous] generation of men of war had [died in the wilderness,] from among the Israelites,] as the Lord [swore] to them.

Indeed, the [Lord’s] hand was against them, to destroy them from among the [army,] until they [perished.] [Numbers 14:6-11 And Joshua, [Nun’s] son & Caleb, [Jephunneh’s] son, [tore] their clothes, [who] were [among those who examined] the land.

And they [spoke] to all the company of the children of [people] of Israel, saying, The land, [that] we passed through to [examine] it is an [exceedingly] good land. [If the Lord [delights] in us, then He will bring us into this land & give it [to] us; a land that flows with milk & honey.

But all the congregation [wanted to] stone them. and the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation, before all the children [people] of Israel. And the Lord said to Moses, How long will this people provoke Me? And how long will it be [before] they believe Me, [after] all the [miracles that] I have [shown] among them?]

[It happened,] when all the [former] men of war [had perished] from among the people [of Israel,] the Lord [spoke] to me, saying, [Today,] you are to pass over through the coast of Moab [at] Ar.

When you come [near] the [Ammonites, don’t] distress them [or bother] them. For I will not give you [any] of the land of the [Ammonites as a] possession, because I have given it to [Lots’] children for a possession.

(That was also [considered] a land of giants. The giants [lived] there in [the past] & the Ammonites called them Zamzummims. [They were a strong multitude] of tall people, [like] the Anakims.

But the Lord destroyed them, [so the Ammonites could live there instead of them.] [The Lord did the same for Esau’s] children [people, who lived] in Seir, when [God] destroyed the Horims before them, [so, instead] they [could live there,] in their [place,] even [until] this day.

[Also like] the Caphtorims, [who] came out of Caphtor & destroyed the Avims [a.k.a. Avvim] that [lived from] Hazerim to Azzah & [live] in their [place instead.]) Rise up & take your journey & pass over the River Arnon.

[Look,] I have [put] into your hand Sihon, the Amorite, [Heshbon’s] king & his land. Begin to [take possession] of it & [engage] him in battle.

[Today,] I will begin to put [anxiety] & the fear of you upon [all] the nations under [all of] heaven, who shall hear [reports] of you & shall tremble, be in anguish, because of you.

I sent messengers out of the Wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon, [Heshbon’s] king, with words of peace, saying, Let me pass through your land. I will go by the highway & I won’t turn to the right hand or the left.

You shall sell me [food] to eat & water to drink for money, [so] I may eat. I will only pass through on [foot.] ([Like Esau’s] children [people, who live] in Seir & the Moabites, [who live] in Ar, did to me;) until I pass over [the] Jordan [River] into the land [that] the Lord our God [gives] us.

But Sihon, [Heshbon’s] king, wouldn’t let us pass by him: for the Lord your God [made Sihon’s heart stubborn] & defiant, [so God] could deliver [Sihon] into your hand, like [it is today.]

The Lord said to me, [Look,] I have begun to give [you] Sihon & his land before you, [so] you [may] begin to possess [it, so] you may inherit his land. Then, Sihon & all his people came out to [fight] against us at Jahaz.

The Lord our God delivered [Sihon] before us & we [attacked] him, his sons & all his people. At that time, we took all his cities & utterly destroyed the men, women & children [from] every city & left none [remaining.]

We only took the [livestock] & the spoil of the cities [as plunder for] ourselves. There wasn’t 1 city too strong for us from Aroer, by the brink of the Arnon River & the city by the river, even [as far as] Gilead.

The Lord our God delivered all [these] to us. [We didn’t go near the places] the Lord God [had forbidden] us [from] the land of [the Ammonites or places along] the Jabbok River, nor the cities in the mountains.
