About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Giving the Priests & Levites Cities with Their Pasture Land

Joshua 21:1-45               The Book of Joshua [in Smaller Chunks]

At Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, they [said] to them, The Lord commanded by [Moses’] hand, to give us cities, with suburbs [for pasture lands for] our [livestock.] The [people] of Israel gave these cities & suburbs to the Levites [from] their inheritance, a the [command] of the Lord.

The lot [came] out for the [families] of the Kohathites & the Levites [who were descendants] of Aaron, the priest, [who received] 13 cities by lot [from the tribes] of Judah, Simeon & Benjamin. From the [tribes] of Judah & Simeon, they [gave] these cities mentioned by name to [the descendants] of Aaron [from] the Kohathite [tribe of the Levites,] because the 1st lot was theirs.

They gave the [cities] of: Arba, [who was] the father of Anak, which is the city of Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, [with its pasture lands around it.] But they gave [its] fields & villages to Caleb, [Jephuneh’s] son, for his possession.

They gave these cities to the [descendants] of Aaron, the priest, [with their pasture lands around them:] Hebron [& its pasture lands around it] to be a city of refuge for the slayer & Libnah [& its pasture lands,] [Joshua 20:2 [So] that the slayer who kills any person [accidentally] may flee [there] & they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.]

And Jatir [& its pasture lands,] Eshtemoa [& its pasture lands,] Holon [& its pasture lands,] Debir [& its pasture lands,] Ain [& its pasture lands,] Juttah [& its pasture lands] & Beth Shemesh [& its pasture lands:] 9 cities [from] those 2 tribes.

[From] the [tribes] of Benjamin, [they gave] 4 cities: Gibeon [& its pasture lands,] Geba [& its pasture lands,] Anathoth [& its pasture lands] & Almon [& its pasture lands.] All [these] 13 cities [were for the descendants of Aaron, the priests, [including their pasture lands.]

[The Levite descendants] who remained of the children [people] of Kohath [were given these] 4 cities [from] the tribe of Ephraim. They gave them: Shechem [& its pasture lands] in Mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer & Gezer [& its pasture lands,] Kibzaim [& its pasture lands] & Beth Horon [& its pasture lands.]

[The descendants] from the tribe of Dan [gave] 4 cities [& their pasture lands,] Eltekeh [& its pasture lands,] Gibbethon [& its pasture lands,] Aijalon [& its pasture lands] & Gath Rimmon [& its pasture lands.]

[The descendants of] 1/2 of [Manasseh’s] tribe [gave] 2 cities; Tanach [& its pasture lands] & Gath Rimmon [& its pasture lands.] All 10 cities [& their pasture lands were given] for the [remaining Levite descendants] of Kohath.

[To the Levite descendants] of Gershon [were given] 2 cities out of the other ½ tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan [& its pasture lands,] to be the city of refuge for the slayer & Beesh Terah [& its pasture lands.]

[They received] 4 cities [from] the tribe of Issachar: Kishon [& its pasture lands,] Dabareh [& its pasture lands,] Jarmuth [& its pasture lands] & En Gannim [& its pasture lands.]

[They received] 4 cities [from] the tribe of Asher: Mishal [& its pasture lands,] Abdon [& its pasture lands,] Helkath [& its pasture lands] & Rehob [& its pasture lands.]

[They were given] 3 cities [from] the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee [& its pasture lands,] to be a city of refuge for the slayer & Hammoth Dor [& its pasture lands] & Kartan [& its pasture lands.] [The descendants] of the Gershonites [were given] 13 cities [& their pasture lands,] according to their families.

To [the rest of Levite descendants] of the Holden [people] of Merari [were given] 4 cities [from] the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam [& its pasture lands,] Kartah [& its pasture lands,] Dimnah [& its pasture lands] & Nahalal [& its pasture lands.]

[From] the tribe of Reuben [were given] 4 cities: Bezer [& its pasture lands,] Jahazah [& its pasture lands,] Kedemoth [& its pasture lands] & Mephaath [& its pasture lands.] [The] tribe of Gad [gave] 4 cities in all:

Ramoth in Gilead [& its pasture lands,] to be a city of refuge for the slayer, Mahanaim [& its pasture lands,] Heshbon [& its pasture lands] & Jazer [& its pasture lands.] So all the cities [given to] the remaining [Levite descendants] of Merari by their lot were 12 cities.

All the cities of the Levites [given by the Israelite descendants were] 48 cities & their suburbs, [pasture lands.] All these cities [included] their [pasture lands around] them.

The Lord gave to Israel all the land [that] He swore to give to their [forefathers] & they possessed it & [lived] in it. The Lord gave them [peace & rest all around,] according to [what] He swore to their [forefathers.]

Not a [single] man of all their enemies stood before them; [because] the Lord [had] delivered all their enemies into their [hands.] [Every one] of the good things the Lord had [said] to the house of Israel [happened] & [not even 1 of them failed to happen.]
