About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Saul Tells His Servants & Jonathan to Kill David

1 Samuel 19:1-24                The Book of 1 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

Saul [spoke] to: Jonathan, his son & all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan [was very] delighted in David, & Honathan told David, saying, Saul, my father [seeks] to kill you. I pray [that] you now, [pay careful attention for] yourself until the morning, & hide yourself, & [stay] in a secret place.

I will go out in the field & stand beside my father, where you [are.] And I will [talk] with my father [about] you; & I will tell you; what I [find out.] And Jonathan [spoke] good [about] David to his father, Saul.

[Jonathan] said to him, [Don’t] let the king sin against his servant, David, because he [hasn’t] sinned against you, & his [his actions toward you] have been very good. For [David risked] his life, & [killed] the [Philistines.]

And the Lord [worked] a great [victory] for all Israel. You [saw] it & [rejoiced:] [why] then [will] you sin against innocent blood, & [kill] David without a cause?

And Saul [listened to] Jonathan: & [swore,] As the Lord [Lives, David] shall not be [killed.] And Jonathan called David, & [declared to] him all [these] things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul & [David] was in [Saul's] presence, [like] in past times.

And there was war again: & David went out & fought with the Philistines, & [attacked them] with a [large] slaughter, & they fled from [David.] And the [distressing] spirit from the Lord was upon Saul, & David played [the harp] with his [hands,] as [Saul] sat in his house with his [spear] in his hand.

And Saul [thought to pin] David, even to the wall with the [spear,] but [David] slipped away [from] Saul’s presence, & [Saul] [threw] the [spear] [which] [stuck] into the wall, & David fled, & escaped that night.

Saul also sent messengers to David’s house, to watch him, & [kill] him in the morning. Michal, David’s wife, told him, saying, If you [don’t] save your life tonight, you [shall] be [killed] tomorrow.

So, Michal let David down through a window: & he went [down,] fled, & escaped. And Michal took a goat’s hair pillow, [& made it to look like David’s]  image, [a.k.a. shape of his torso,] & laid it in the bed, & covered it with a cloth.

And when Saul sent messengers to take David, [Michal] said, He is sick. And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring [David] up to me in the bed, [so] I may [kill] him. [But] when the messengers [came] in, [they] [saw,] there was an image in the bed, with a goat’s hair pillow for his [torso.]

And Saul said to Michal, Why [have] you deceived me, [this way,] & sent away [my] enemy, [so] that he escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said to me, Let me go. Why should I kill you?

So, David fled, escaped, & came to Samuel [in] Ramah, & told him all that Saul had done to him. And [David] & Samuel went & [stayed] in Naioth. And Saul [was told, Look,] David is in Naioth in Ramah.

And Saul sent messengers to take David: & when they saw the [group] of prophets prophesying, & Samuel standing [in charge] over them, the [Holy] Spirit of God was upon [Saul’s] messengers, & they also prophesied.

And when Saul was told, he sent other messengers, & they prophesied, [too.] And Saul sent messengers again the 3rd time, & they also prophesied, [as well.] Then, [Saul] also went to Ramah, & came to a [large] well in Sechu, & asked, Where are Samuel & David? [Someone] said, [Look,] they are at Naioth in Ramah.

And [Saul] went [there] to Naioth in Ramah & the [Holy] Spirit of God was also upon [Saul,] & he went on & prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

And [Saul took off] his clothes [too,] & prophesied in [a similar] manner before Samuel, & lay down naked all that: day & night. [For this reason,] they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
