About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Samuel 3:1-21 The Lord Calls Samuel in the Night

The Lord Calls Samuel in the Night

1 Samuel 3:1-21                         The Book of 1 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

[As a] child, Samuel, ministered to the Lord before Eli. The Word of the Lord was precious in those days & [visions were rare.]

It [happened,] when Eli laid down in his place [where he slept] & his eyes [had become weak & he could barely] see [if] the lamp of the Lord went out in the temple of the Lord, where the Ark of God was. [So,] Samuel [lay] down to sleep [there.]

The Lord called Samuel & he answered, Here I am & ran to Eli & said Here am I, for you called me. [Eli] said, I [didn’t] call [you.] Lie down again & [Samuel] went & lay down.

And the Lord called again, Samuel. And Samuel arose & went to Eli & said, Here am I: for you [called] me. [Eli] answered, I [didn’t] call [you, my son. Lie [back] down again. Samuel didn’t know the Lord yet & neither was the Word of the Lord revealed to him, yet.

The Lord called Samuel again the 3rd time & he arose & went to Eli & said, Here I am; for you called me. Eli [realized] that the Lord had called the child.

Therefore, Eli said to Samuel, Go lie down & if He [calls] you, you [shall] say, Speak Lord; for Your servant hears. Samuel went & lay [back] down in his place. The Lord came & stood & called [like the] other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then, Samuel answered, Speak; for Your servant hears.

The Lord said to Samuel, [Watch,] I will do [something] in Israel that will make the ears of [those who hear of it] tingle. [On] that day, I will [do] all the things against Eli [that] I have [said about] his [family.] When I begin, I will also make an end [to it.]

For I have told him that I will judge his [family] forever for the [sins that he knows about,] because his sons [behaved wickedly] & [Eli hasn’t] restrained them.

Therefore, I have sworn to the house of Eli, that the [sins] of Eli’s [family] shall not be [atoned for by] sacrifice nor [offerings] forever.

And Samuel lay [down] until morning & opened the doors of the house of the Lord. Samuel was [afraid] to [tell] Eli the vision. Then, Eli called Samuel & said, Samuel, my son. He answered, Here I am.

Eli said, What [did] the Lord [say] to you? I pray [that] you don’t hide it from me. If you hide anything [the Lord] said [from] me. God will do to you, [that] & more also, if you hide anything from me, of all the things He said to you. Samuel told [Eli everything] & [didn’t hide anything] from him. [Eli] said, It is the Lord. Let Him do what seems good [to] Him.

And Samuel grew & the Lord was with him & [he didn’t ignore] any of [God’s] words. All [of] Israel from Dan, even to BeerSheba knew that Samuel was [chosen] to be a prophet of the Lord.

The Lord appeared again in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel [through the Lord’s] Word in Shiloh.
