About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Ruth Goes Out With 3 & Returns With 1

Ruth 1:1-22                   The Book of Ruth [in Smaller Chunks]

Now it [happened,] in the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. A certain man of Bethlehem Judah went to [temporarily stay] in the country of Moab [with] his wife & his 2 sons.

[His] name was Elimelech & [his wife’s name was] Naomi & the [names] of his 2 sons [were:] Mahlon & Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem Judah. They came into the country of Moab & continued [to stay] there.

Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, died & she & her 2 sons [were] left. [Her 2 sons took Moabite] women [as] wives. The name of the 1 was Orpah & the other was Ruth. They [lived] there [for] about 10 years. [Both] Mahlon & Chilion died, also.

[Naomi was the only one] left of her 2 sons & her husband. [Then Naomi] with her 2 daughters-in-law [prepared to leave] from the country of Moab.

[Naomi] had heard [while] in the country of Moab; how the Lord visited His people [by] giving them bread. [For this reason,] she went [out] of the place where she was, [with] her 2 daughters-in-law to return to the land of Judah.

Naomi said to her 2 daughters-in-law, Go, return to each [of your] mother’s [houses.] [So,] the Lord deals kindly with you, [like] you have dealt with the dead & with me.

[May] the Lord grant that you may each find rest in the house of [your] [future] husband. Then, she kissed them & they lifted up their [voices] & wept. They said to her, Surely, we will return with you to your people.

Naomi said, [Return] again, my daughters. Why [would] you go with me? [Am I able to give birth] to any more sons, [so] that they may be your husbands? Turn & go your way, my daughters, for I am too old to have a husband.

[Even if I said,] I [had a] hope [of having] a husband tonight & [were to] bear sons, would you [wait] until they were grown & [keep yourself] from having husbands? [No,] my daughters.

For it grieves me much, for your sakes that the hand of the Lord [has] gone out against me.They lifted up their [voices] & wept again. And Oprah kissed her mother-in-law; but Ruth [clung] to her.

[Naomi] said, [Look,] your sister-in-law [has] gone back to her [own] people & her gods. Return [with] your sister-in-law. Ruth said, [Don’t beg] me to leave you, or return from following you. For [wherever] you go, I will go & where you lodge, I will lodge.

Your people shall be my people & your God [shall be] my God. Where you die, I will die & there I will be buried. Let the Lord do so & more if [anything except] death [parts] you & me.

When [Naomi] saw [that Ruth] was [determined] to go with her, then she [stopped] speaking to her [about it]. So the 2 went until they came to Bethlehem. All the city was [excited about their arrival] & they said, Is this Naomi?

She said to them, Don’t call me Naomi, call me Mara, [Bitter, because] the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. I went out full & the Lord has brought me home again empty.

Why [still] call me Naomi, [Pleasant,] seeing [that] the Lord has testified against me & the Almighty has afflicted me? So, Naomi returned [with] her daughter-in-law, Ruth, the Moabite [from] the country of Moab & they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.
