About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Samuel 10:1-19 David Is Sending His Servants to Comfort Hanum

David Is Sending His Servants to Comfort Hanum

2 Samuel 10:1-19       The Book of 2 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

It [happened] after this, the king of the children [people] of Ammon died & Hanum, his son, [ruled] in his [place.] Then, David said, I will show kindness to Hanum, [Nahash’] son, [since] his father [showed] kindness to me.

And David sent his servants to comfort him, [because of the death of] his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the [people] of Ammon. And [their] princes said to Hanum, their lord, [Do you really] think that David [is honoring] your father, [since] he has sent comforters to you?

[Instead,] hasn’t David sent his servants to you, to search & spy out the city, to overthrow it? [For this reason,] Hanum took David’s servants & shaved off 1/2 of their beards & cut off their [clothing] in the middle of their buttocks & sent them away.

When David [was] told, he sent [messengers] to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed. King [David] said, [Stay] at Jericho until your beards [are] grown & then return.

When the [people] of Ammon saw that [what they did] stank before David, the [people] of Ammon sent & hired [from the] Syrians, 20,000 footmen [from] Beth Rehob & Zoba, 1,000 men [from] king Maacah & 12,000 men [from] IshTob.

When David heard [this,] he sent Joab with all the [army] of mighty men. And the [Ammonites] came out & put the battle in [rows] at the gate [entrance.] The Syrians of Zoba, Rehob, IshTob & Maacah, were by themselves in the field.

When Joab saw the front of the battle was against him, [in front] & behind ]him,] he chose the [best] men of Israel & put them in [rows] against the Syrians. The rest of the [Israelites, Joab sent] to Abishai, his brother, [so] he might put them in [rows] against the [people] of Ammon.

He said, If the Syrians [are] too strong for me, then you shall help me, but if the [people] of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will come & help you. Be [courageous] & let us [prove ourselves strong] men for our people & the cities of our God.

And the Lord [shall] do [what] seems good [to] Him. And Joab & the men with him, drew [close] to the battle against the Syrians & they fled before [Joab.] And when the [people] of Ammon saw the Syrians [had] fled, they also fled, [in front of] Abishai & entered into the city.

So, Joab returned from the [Ammonites] & came to Jerusalem. And when the Syrians saw they were [defeated] before Israel, they gathered themselves together.

And Hadarezer sent [to bring out more] Syrians [from] beyond the [Euphrates] River & they came to Helam; and Shobach, the captain of [Hadarezer’s army,] went [in front of] them.

And when David was told, he gathered all [of] Israel together & [crossed] over [the] Jordan [River] & came to Helam. The Syrians [put] themselves into [rows] against David & fought with him.

And the Syrains fled before Israel & David [killed] the men of 700 Syrian chariots & 40,000 horsemen & he [struck down] Shobach, the captain of their [army,] who died there.

And when all the kings [who] were [Hadrezer’s] servants saw that they were [defeated] before Israel, they made peace with Israel & served them. So, the Syrians [were afraid] to help the [Ammonites] anymore.
