About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Samuel 6:1-23 Bringing the Ark of the Lord to the City of David

Bringing the Ark of the Lord to the City of David

2 Samuel 6:1-23       The Book of 2 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

Again, David gathered together all the 30,000 [best] men of Israel.

David arose & went with all the people [who] were with him from Baale [a.k.a. Baalah] of Judah, to bring up from [there] the Ark of God, Whose Name is called the Lord of Hosts, [Who] dwells between the [2] cherubims.

[1 Kings 8:6-7 And the priests brought in the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord to [its] place, into the oracle of the house, to the Most Holy Place, even under the wings of the cherubims. For the cherubims spread [out] their wings over the place of the Ark & the cherubims covered the Ark & [its poles] above [them.]

They [put] the Ark of God upon a new cart & brought it out of the house of Abinadab in Gibeah. Uzzah & Ahio, [Abinadab’s] sons, [drove] the new cart. [They accompanied] the Ark of God, out of the house of Abinadab [in] Gibeah & Ahio went [in front of] the Ark.

David & all the house of Israel played all [types] of instruments made of fir, even on harps, [zithers, tambourines,] cornets & cymbals.

When they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put [out] his hand [on] the Ark of God & took hold of it; [because] the oxen [stumbled &] shook it.

The [Lord’s] anger [grew] against Uzzah & God [struck him down] there for his [irreverent] error & [Uzzah] died there by the Ark of God.

David was displeased, because the [Lord’s anger had burst out against] Uzzah. [David] called the name of the place Perez-Uzzah, [its name] to this day. David was afraid of the Lord that day & said, How shall the Ark of the Lord come to me?

So, David wouldn’t [move] the Ark of the Lord into the city of David, but David carried it aside into the house of Obed Edom, the Gittite.

And the Ark of the Lord [stayed] in the house of Obed Edom [for] 3 months & the Lord blessed Obed Edom & all his household. David was told, The Lord has blessed the house of Obed Edom & all his household & all that pertained to him, because of the Ark of God.

So, David went & brought [out] the Ark of God from the house of Obed Edom, into the city of David with gladness. [Whenever those who carried] the Ark of the Lord had gone 6 paces, [David] sacrificed oxen & [fatted calves.]

David [wore] a linen ephod & danced before the Lord with all his might. So, David & all the house of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouting & the sound of [trumpets.]

As the Ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through the window & saw king David leaping & dancing before the Lord & she despised him in her heart.

And they brought the Ark of the Lord & [put] it in [its] place in the [middle] of  the [tent] of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it. And David offered burnt offerings & Peace Offerings before the Lord [God.]

As soon as David had [finished sacrificing the] burnt offerings & Peace Offerings, he blessed the people in the Name of the Lord of Hosts.

[David distributed:] a cake of bread, a good piece of [meat] & a [bottle] of wine, among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, [including both] women and men. So, all the people [left,] everyone to his [own] house. Then, David returned to bless his household.

And Michal, Saul’s daughter, came out to meet David & said, [Wasn’t] the king of Israel glorious, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of his [servant’s] handmaids, like one of the [vulgar] fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!

And David said to Michal, [I was dancing] before the Lord [God, Who] chose me [over] your father & all his house & [appointed] me ruler over Israel, the people of the Lord.

Therefore, I will play [& dance] before the Lord. I will [still] be more [undignified] than [this] & I will be [humble] in my own sight & the maid servants you [spoke] of, shall honor [me.]

Therefore, Michal, Saul’s daughter, had no child [until] the day of her death.
