Eliphaz Answers Job With Lies |
Job 22:1-30 Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks] |
Then, Eliphaz, the Temanite, answered & said, Can a man be [beneficial] to God, [like] he [who] is wise may be [beneficial] to himself? [Job 35:7 If you [are] righteous, what [do] you give [God?] Or What [does God] receive [from] your hand?] |
Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you [are] righteous? Or Is it a [benefit God,] that you make your ways perfect, [a.k.a. blameless?] Will God [disapprove of] you, [because He's] [afraid] of you? |
Will [God] enter with you into judgment? Isn't your wickedness [enormous?] And [aren't] your [sins] Infinite, [a.k.a. beyond measurement?] For you have taken [away] a pledge, [a.k.a. collateral,] from your brother, [a.k.a. fellow Hebrew,] for [nothing,] & you stripped the naked of their clothing. |
[Exodus 22:26-27 If you at all take your neighbor's [clothing for a] pledge, you shall deliver it to him by sundown [that day,] for that is his only covering. It is his [clothing] for his skin. [What] shall he sleep [in?] And it shall [happen,] when he cries [out] to Me, that I will hear, for I Am gracious.] |
You [haven't] given water to the weary to drink, & you [have withheld] bread from the hungry. [Matthew 25:40-46 And the King shall answer, & say to them, [Truly,] I say to you, In as much as you have done it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you have done it to Me. Then He shall also say to them on the left hand [side,] Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil & his angels: For I was [hungry,] & you gave Me no meat, [a.k.a. food.] I was thirsty, & you gave Me no drink. I was a stranger, & you [didn't take] Me in, & naked, & you [didn't clothe] Me, sick, & in prison, & you [didn't visit] Me. Then, they shall also answer [the King,] when [did] we [see] you [hungry,] or [thirsty,] or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, & didn't minister to You? Then, He shall answer them, saying, In as much as you [didn't] [do] it to one of the least of these, you [didn't] [do] it to Me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.] |
But, as for the mighty man, he had [land on] the earth, & the [honorable] man dwelt in it. You [have] sent widows away empty [handed,] & have broken the arms of the fatherless. Therefore, [traps] are [all around] you, & sudden fear [troubles] you; or darkness, [so] that you [can't] see, & [an] abundance of waters [overflow] you. |
Isn't God in the [heights] of heaven? And [look at] the height of the stars, & how high they are! And you [say,] How [does] God know? Can He judge through the dark [clouds?] |
Thick clouds are a [cover for Job, so] that [God doesn't see] [him.] And [God] [walks] in [the planets’ & stars' orbits] of heaven. [Have] you [noted] the old [path, that] wicked men have [trampled?] |
[Those wicked men] were cut down [before their] time, whose [foundations were] overflown with a flood. [Psalm 90:5-6 You carried them away, [like] with a flood. They are [gone] [like] sleep in the morning. They are like grass that grows up. In the morning it flourishes, & grows up, & in the evening it is cut down, & withers.] |
[Wicked men, who] said to God, Depart from us. What can the Almighty do for them? [Still, God] filled their houses with good things, but the [advice] of the wicked is far from me. The righteous see it, & are glad. And the innocent laugh [at] them [scornfully, a.k.a. looking down on them.] [Since] our substance, [a.k.a. possessions, [weren't destroyed,] the fire [consumes] the [rest] of them. |
Now, acquaint yourself with [God,] & be at peace. [By this,] good shall come, [a.k.a. happen,] to you. I pray [that] you receive the Law from [God's] mouth, & [store] up His Words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you [shall] be [elevated.] |
You [should] put [sin] far from your [tents.] Then, you [shall store] up gold [like] dust. And the gold of Ophir, [like] the stones of the brooks. [Yes,] the Almighty shall be your [defense,] & you [shall] have plenty of silver. |
For then, you [shall] have your delight in the Almighty, & [shall] lift up your face to God. You [shall] make your prayer to [God,] & He shall hear you, & you [shall] pay [what you] [vowed.] |
You shall also [decide] a thing, & it shall be established [for] you. And the light shall shine up your ways. When men are [downcast,] then you [shall] say, There is [need of] [uplifting, & God] shall save the humble person. |
[Matthew 23:12 And [whoever] shall exalt himself shall be [humbled,] & he, [who] humbles himself, shall be exalted.] |
[God] shall deliver the innocent, [who are isolated like on an] island, and it is delivered by the pureness of your hands. |
And I heard, but [didn't understand.] Then, I said, O my Lord, What shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel: for the Words are closed up and sealed till the time of the End. Daniel 12:8-9 KJV
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:
Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV.
Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning.
For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.
The Table Format:
The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.
