Job About the Value of Wisdom |
Job 28:1-28 Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks] |
Surely there is a vein [of] silver, & a place where they [refine] gold. Iron is taken out of the earth, & molten brass [is taken,] out of the stone, [a.k.a. rock.] [God puts] an end to darkness, & [searches] all [for] perfection: [within] the [headstones] of darkness! & the shadow of death. [Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me, & Your rod, & Your staff, they comfort me.] |
The flood [breaks] out from [where it] [resides.] Even the forgotten waters [underfoot] are [evaporated,] & dried up. They [have] [disappeared] from men. Out of the earth [comes] bread, & under it, [the dug up] [ground, is molten lava like] it [was] fire. The stones of [the earth] are the place [for:] sapphires, & gold dust. |
There is a path [that no bird knows,] & which the vulture's eye [hasn't] seen. The lion's [cubs] haven't [walked on] it, nor [has] the fierce lion passed by it. [God puts out] His hand upon the rock, & He [uproots,] & [overturns] the mountains. |
[God cuts] out [channels for] rivers among the rocks, & His eye [sees] every precious thing. He [ties up] the [flood waters] from overflowing, & [God brings] to light the thing that is [hidden.] |
But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man [doesn't] know [its value,] & neither is it found in the land of the living. The [deep waters say,] [Wisdom] isn't in me, & the sea [says,] It isn't [within] me. |
[Wisdom] can't be [bought] for gold, neither shall silver be weighed [out] for [its] price. [Wisdom's] [value] can't [be paid for] with the: gold of Ophir, & precious onyx, or the sapphire. The gold & the crystal can't equal [its value.] And the exchange of it, shall not be for jewels [in settings] of fine gold. [Proverbs 3:13-15 Happy is the man [who finds] wisdom, & the man [who gets] understanding. For the [gain] of it, is better than the [profit] of silver, & [its] gain, than fine gold. She, [a.k.a. wisdom,] is more precious than rubies, & all the things you [can] desire aren't to be compared to her.] |
No mention shall be made: of coral, or pearls: for the price of wisdom is [far] above [the value] of rubies. [Proverbs 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies, & all the things that may be desired aren't to be compared to it.] |
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, & neither shall it be [equal in value] with pure gold. Then [from where] [does] wisdom [come?] And where is the place of understanding? |
[Psalm 111:10 The fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of the Lord, is the beginning of wisdom; [to] all [those who] have a good understanding, & do His commandments. His praise endures forever.] |
[Since wisdom] is [hidden] from the eyes of all living, & [is concealed] from the [birds] of the air. Destruction & death say, We have heard [of its] fame with our ears. God [understands] the way [of it,] & He [knows] the place [of it.] |
For [God looks] to the ends of the earth, & [sees] under the whole heaven; to make the weight for the winds, & He [weighs] & [measures] the waters. [Psalm 11:4 The Lord is in His holy temple. The Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes [look,] & His eyelids [test] the children of men.] |
When [God] made a decree for the rain, & a [pathway] for the lightning of thunder [storms;] then [God saw] it, & [declared wisdom.] [God] prepared [wisdom,] & searched it out. |
And [God] said to man, [Look,] the fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of the Lord, that is wisdom. And to depart from evil is [what] understanding [is.] [Proverbs 1:7 The fear, [a.k.a. respect] of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom & instruction.] |
And I heard, but [didn't understand.] Then, I said, O my Lord, What shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel: for the Words are closed up and sealed till the time of the End. Daniel 12:8-9 KJV
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:
Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV.
Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning.
For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.
The Table Format:
The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.
