A Psalm of David. |
Psalm 26:1-12 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
O Lord, Judge me; for I have trusted in the Lord & have also [followed] in [my] integrity. Therefore, I shall not [backslide.] O Lord, [test] me & examine me. [Test] my [mind] & my heart. |
[1 Peter 1:6-7 [For this reason, although] if need be, you are [heavily distressed,] through [many] temptations, though for a [time] now, you greatly rejoice, [so] that the [test] of your faith, being much more precious than gold, that perishes, [although it's tested] with fire, might be found [for] praise, honor & glory at the [appearance] of Jesus Christ.] |
For Your loving kindness is before [my] eyes & I have [followed] in Your Truth. [John 14:6 Jesus [said] to him, I Am the Way, the Truth & the Life. No man comes to the Father, [except] by Me.] I haven't sat with vain [people,] neither will I go in with [deceivers.] |
[Exodus 32:7-8 And the Lord said to Moses, Go, get [yourself] down; for your people, [whom] you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. They have [gone astray,] quickly [from the path] I have commanded them. |
They have made [themselves] a [molded] calf & have worshiped it & have sacrificed [to it] & have said, These [are] your gods, O Israel, [that] have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.] |
I have hated the congregation of [those who do evil] & will not sit with the wicked. I will wash [my innocent] hands. I will [go around] Your altar [with clean hands,] O Lord: [so] I may tell of all Your wondrous works & [proclaim] with the voice of [giving thanks.] |
Lord, I have loved the [dwelling] of Your house & the place where Your honor [resides.] [Don't] gather my soul with sinners, nor [take] my life with [bloodthirsty] men: in whose hands [are wicked plots] & their right hand is full of bribes. |
[1 Samuel 8:3 And [Samuel's] sons [didn't follow] in his ways, but [went astray] after [financial gain,] took bribes & [diverted] judgment.] But as for me, I will [follow] in [my] integrity. Redeem me & be merciful to me. My foot stands in an even place. I will bless the Lord in the congregations. |
