A Psalm & Song at the Dedication of the House of David. |
Psalm 30:1-12 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
I will [highly praise] You, O Lord. For You have lifted me up & haven't made my foes rejoice over me. O Lord, my God, I cried [out] to You & You have healed me. |
O Lord, You have brought my soul up from [going to] the grave. You have kept me alive, [so] I [wouldn't] go down to the pit. [Psalm 89:13 For great is Your mercy toward me & You have delivered my soul from the lowest hell.] |
Sing to the Lord, O you saints of His & give thanks at the [memory] of His holiness. For His anger [endures only] a moment & in His favor, is life. Weeping may [last] for a night, but joy comes in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be [removed.] |
You did hide Your face & I was troubled. Lord, by Your favor, You have made my mountain stand strong. I cried [out] to You, O Lord & made my [appeals] to the Lord. |
What [benefit] is there in my [bloodshed,] when I go down to the pit [in death?] Shall the [dirt] praise You? Shall it declare Your Truth? O Lord, hear & have mercy upon me. |
You [are] my helper, Lord. You [have] turned my mourning into dancing. You have put off my sackcloth & [clothed] me with gladness, [in order] that [in] my glory [I] may sing [praises] to You & not be silent, O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to You forever. |
