Psalm 33:1-22 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
O you righteous, rejoice in the Lord: for praise is [beautiful] for the upright. Praise the Lord with [harps,] & sing to Him with the [lyre,] & [instruments with] 10 strings. Sing to Him, a new song. Play skillfully with a loud [sound.] |
For the Word of the Lord is right; & all His works, [a.k.a. deeds,] are done in Truth. [John 14:6 Jesus said to [Thomas,] I Am the Way, the Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.] |
He [loves] righteousness & judgment, [a.k.a. justice.] The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. The heavens were made by the Word of the Lord. And by the breath of His mouth, all the hosts, [a.k.a. stars of the heavens,] were made. |
[Genesis 1:16-17 And God made 2 great lights. The [larger] light to rule the day, & the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. And God [put] them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.] |
He [gathers] the waters of the sea together [like a] heap. He [lays] up the [deep] in storehouses. [Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together [into] one place, & let the dry land appear, & it was so. And God called the dry land: Earth, & the gathering together of the waters, He called: Seas. And God saw that it was good.] |
Let all the earth fear, [a.k.a. respect,] the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He [spoke,] & it was done. He commanded, & it stood fast, [a.k.a. firmly secured.] |
[Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning, God created the heaven & the earth. And the earth was without form, & [empty.] And darkness was upon the [surface] of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the [surface] of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, & there was light.] |
The Lord [brings] the counsel, [a.k.a. advice,] of the heathen to [nothing.] He [makes] the [wicked plots] of the people [ineffective.] The counsel of the Lord [stands] forever, & the thoughts of His heart [stand] to all generations. [Isaiah 19:12-14 Where are they? Where are your wise men? And let them now tell you, & let them know what the Lord of Hosts [has planned for] Egypt. The princes of Zoan [have] become fools. The princes of Noph are deceived. They have also seduced Egypt, even [those who maintain its] tribes. The Lord [has mixed] a perverse spirit in [its] midst; & they have caused Egypt to err, [a.k.a. go astray,] in every work, [a.k.a. deed, of it, like] a [drunk] man [staggers] in his vomit.] |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; & the people whom He [has] chosen for His Own inheritance. The Lord [looks] from heaven; & He [sees] all the sons of men. From the place of His habitation, He [looks] upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He [fashioned] their hearts alike, [a.k.a. the same.] He [considers] all their works, [a.k.a. deeds.] |
A mighty man is not delivered by much strength, & there is no king saved by the multitude of an [army.] [Jeremiah 9:23-24 The Lord [said this, Don't] let the wise man [boast] in his wisdom. Neither let the mighty man [boast] in his [strength.] [Don't] let the rich man [boast] in his riches. |
But let him [who boasts, boast] in this, that he understands & knows Me, that I Am the Lord, [Who delivers:] loving kindness, judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] & righteousness, [on] the earth. For I delight in these things, [says] the Lord.] |
[A] horse is a vain thing for safety. Neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. [Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, & some [trust] in horses: but we will remember the Name of the Lord our God.] |
[Look,] the eye of the Lord is upon [those who] fear, [a.k.a. respect,] Him, & upon [those who] hope in His mercy; to deliver their soul from death, & to keep them alive in famine. |
[Revelation 7:14-17 And I said to him, Sir, you [know.] And he said to me, These are [those who] came out of great tribulation, & have washed their robes, & made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God, & serve Him day & night in His temple. |
And He, [Who sits] on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall no [longer] hunger, neither thirst anymore. Neither shall the sun, nor any heat [scorch] them. |
For the Lamb, [Who] is in the [middle] of the throne shall feed them, & shall lead them to Fountains of Living Waters, & God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.] |
Our soul [waits] for the Lord. He is our help & our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His Holy Name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according [to our] hope in You. [John 3:15-17 That [whoever believes] in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, [so] that [whoever believes] in Him shouldn't perish, but have everlasting life. For God [didn't send] His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.] |
And I heard, but [didn't understand.] Then, I said, O my Lord, What shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel: for the Words are closed up and sealed till the time of the End. Daniel 12:8-9 KJV

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:
Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV.
Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning.
For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.
The Table Format:
The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.
