Psalm 35:1-28            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

Plead my [case,] O Lord, with [those who quarrel] with me, & fight against [those who] fight against me. Take hold of [the] shield, & [armor,] & stand up for [my] help. Also, draw out the spear, [from its sheath,] & stop [those who] persecute me [in the] [road.] Say to my soul, I Am your Salvation.

[Ephesians 6:16-17 Above all, [take] the shield of faith, [with which] you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of Salvation, & the sword of the [Holy] Spirit, which is the Word of God.]

Let [those] be [confused,] & put to shame [who] seek after My soul. Let [those] be [returned] back, & brought to confusion [who] devise My [harm.] [Matthew 26:3-4 Then the chief priests, scribes, & elders of the people, assembled together to the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas. And consulted that they might take Jesus by [trickery,] & kill Him.]

Let them be [like stubble in front of] the wind. And let the [Lord's] Angel chase them. [Psalm 83:13 O my God, make them like a wheel; [like] the stubble before the wind.]

Let their way, [a.k.a. road,] be dark & slippery. And let the [Lord's] Angel persecute them. For without cause they have [hidden] their net for Me in a pit, which they have [dug] for My soul without cause. Let him [be] [unaware] [when] destruction [comes] upon him, & let his net that he [has hidden] catch himself, [so] let him fall into that very [same] destruction.

[Isaiah 47:11-12 Therefore, evil shall come upon you, & you shall not know from [where] it rises. And [trouble] shall fall upon you, & you shall not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know.

Stand now with your enchantments, & the multitude of your sorceries, [with which] you have labored from your youth. [Perhaps they may] be able to [benefit you, so you [may] prevail.]

And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord. It shall rejoice in His Salvation. All my bones shall say, Lord, Who is [similar] to You, [Who delivers] the poor from him [who] is too strong for him. [Yes,] [Who delivers] the poor, & needy from him [who plunders] him?

[Revelation 7:15-17 Therefore, [those who] are before the throne of God, & serve Him day & night in His temple, & He, [Who] sits on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall no [longer] hunger, neither [shall they] thirst any more. Neither shall the sun, nor any heat [scorch] them.

For the Lamb, [Who] is in the [middle] of the throne, shall feed them, & shall lead them to Fountains of Living Waters, & God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.]

*False witnesses did rise up, & they laid to My charge things that I didn't [know.] [Luke 23:1-3 And the whole multitude of them arose, & led Him to Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, & forbidding to give [taxes] to Caesar, saying that He, Himself, is Christ, a King.

And Pilate asked Him, saying, Are you the King of the Jews? And He answered [Pilate] & said, You [have said so.]

They rewarded Me evil for good, to the spoiling of My soul. But as for Me, when they were sick, My clothing was sackcloth. I humbled My soul with fasting, & My prayer returned to [My] Own [heart.] I behaved Myself, as though he had been my friend or brother; I bowed down [with a] [heavy] [heart,] [like someone who mourns] for his mother. [Psalm 41:9 [Yes, My] own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, [who] did eat of My bread, has lifted up his heel against Me.]

But in [My] adversity, they rejoiced, & gathered themselves together. [Yes,] the [despicable] gathered themselves together against Me, & I [didn't] know it. [Matthew 26:14-15 Then, 1 of the 12, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, & said to them, What will you give me, & I will deliver Him to you? And they [contracted] with him for 30 pieces of silver. And from that time, [Judas,] sought an opportunity to betray Him.]

[Those] [who try to] tear Me [apart,] [didn't] cease. [John 19:1- 3] Therefore, then Pilate took Jesus, & [had Him whipped.] And the soldiers [twisted] a crown of thorns, & put it on His head, & they put on Him a purple robe, & said, Hail, King of the Jews! And they [struck] Him with their hands.]

They gnashed their teeth upon Me with hypocritical mockers in feasts. [Mark 15:29-30 And [those who raged against] Him, wagging their heads, saying, Ah, You [Who] destroy the temple, & build it in 3 days, Save Yourself, & come down from the cross.]

Lord, how long [will] You look on? Rescue My soul from their [destruction,] My [precious life] from the lions. [1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, & be vigilant; because your [enemy,] the devil, [is] [like] a roaring lion, [walking around,] seeking whom he may devour.]

I will give You thanks in the [large] congregation, & I will praise You among [many] people. * Let not [those who] are My enemies wrongfully rejoice over Me. [Isaiah 53:3-5 *He is despised, & rejected [by] men. A man of sorrows, & acquainted with grief. And we hid [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised, & we [didn't hold] Him [in high regard.] *Surely, He has borne our griefs, & carried our sorrows. [Still,] we [didn't respect] Him, [suffering, struck,] & afflicted [by] God. *But He was wounded for our [sin.] He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace, was upon Him. and with His stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks,] we are healed.]

Neither let [those who hate Me] wink [their] eye without a cause. For they [don't] speak [peacefully:] but they devise deceitful [plots] against [those who] are quiet in the land. [John 11:49-54 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that year, said to them, You know nothing at all. Nor [do] you consider that it is expedient, [a.k.a. best,] for us, that one Man should die for the people, [so] that the whole nation [doesn't] perish. And [Caiaphas didn't speak] this [about] himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation. And not only for that nation, but that [Caiaphas,] should also gather together the children of God, [as] one, [who] were scattered abroad. Then, from that day on, they took counsel together to put Him to death. Therefore, Jesus no [longer] walked openly among the Jews, but went [from there] to a country near the wilderness, & into a city called Ephraim, & continued there with His disciples.]

[Yes,] they opened their mouth wide against Me & said, Aha, aha, our eye [has] seen it. O Lord, this You [have] seen this, [don't] keep [silent.] O Lord, [don't] be far from Me.

[Mark 15:34 And at the 9th hour Jesus cried [out] with a loud voice saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabach-thani? Which is being interpreted, My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?]

Stir Yourself up, & awake to My judgment, even to My [case,] my God, & My Lord. O Lord, My God, judge Me, according to Your righteousness; & let them not rejoice over Me. [Mark 15:31 Likewise, the chief priests also [mocked,] saying among themselves with the scribes, He saved others, [but] He can't save Himself.]

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, we would have it so. Let them not say, We have [devoured &] swallowed Him up. Let [those who] rejoice at My [harm,] be ashamed & brought to confusion. [Matthew 27:62-66 Now, the next day, that followed the preparation day, the chief priests, & Pharisees came together to Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember [what] that deceiver said, while He was [still] alive, After three days, I will rise again. Therefore, command that the [tomb] be made [secure,] until the third day, lest His disciples come [at] night, & steal Him away. And say to the people, He is risen from the dead. So the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said to them, You have [guards] watch. Go [on] your way, & make it as [secure] as you can. so, they went, & made the [tomb secure,] sealing the stone, [a.k.a. boulder,] & setting a watch.]

Let them be clothed with shame, & dishonor [who] magnify themselves against Me. [Matthew 28:9-15 And as they, [the women,] went to tell His disciples, [looked] & Jesus met them, saying, All hail, [a.k.a. Rejoice.] And they came & held Him by the feet, & worshiped Him. Then, Jesus said to them, [Don't] be afraid. Go tell My brethren [so] that they go into Galilee, & they shall see Me there. Now, when they were going, behold, some [guards went] into the city, & [declared] to the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, & had [gotten advice,] they gave large [sums of] money to the soldiers. Saying, You say, His disciples came [at] night, & stole Him away while we slept. And if this [comes] to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, & [make] you secure, [a.k.a. safe.] So, they took the money, & did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.]

Let [those who] favor My righteous cause, shout for joy & be glad. [Yes,] let them continually say, Let the Lord, [Who has] pleasure in the prosperity of His servant be magnified.

[Luke 3:21-22 Now, when all the people were baptized, it [happened,] that Jesus, also being baptized & praying, the heaven was opened & the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him & a voice came from heaven, which said, You [are] My Beloved Son. In You, I am Well pleased.]

And my [mouth] shall speak of Your righteousness, & of Your praise all day long. [2 Timothy 4:8 [From now on] there is [set aside] for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, shall give me [on] that day,  & not only to me, but also to all [those who] love [Him at] His appearance.]
