A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. |
Psalm 63:1-11 Book# 2 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
O You are my God. I will seek you early, God: [for] my soul thirsts for You. My [skin] longs for You, [like] in a dry thirsty land, where no water is, [in order] to see Your power & Your glory. I have seen You in the sanctuary [like this.] |
[Psalm 42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the Living God. When shall I come & appear before God?] |
My lips shall praise You, because Your loving kindness is better than life. I will bless You [like this,] while I live. I will lift up my hands in Your Name. My soul shall be satisfied, [like being satisfied] with marrow & [rich foods.] |
My mouth shall praise You with joyful lips: when [I'm] upon my bed & remember You & [think about] You [during] the night watches. Therefore, in the [shade] of Your wings, I will rejoice, because You have been my help. |
My soul follows [close] after You. Your right hand [supports] me. But those [who] seek to destroy my [life,] shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword & they shall be a portion [of food] for foxes. |
But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone [who] swears by Him shall [give] glory: but the mouth of [those who] speak lies shall be stopped. |
