Psalm 149:1-9 Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
Praise you the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song & His praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in Him, [Who] made him. Let the children [people] of Zion be joyful in their King. |
[Zechariah 9:9 *Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. [Look,] your King comes to you. He is just & [has] Salvation; lowly & riding on a [donkey] & upon a colt, the foal of a [donkey.] |
Let them praise His Name in dance. Let them sing praises to Him with the [tambourine] & harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. He will beautify the meek with Salvation. |
[Isaiah 61:1-3 *The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good [news] to the meek. He has sent Me to [bandage] up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives & the opening of the prison to [those who] are bound. *To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord & the day of vengeance of our God & to comfort all [who] mourn. |
*To appoint to [those who] mourn in Zion & to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning & the garment of praise for [those with a heavy] spirit; that they might be called the Trees of Righteousness & The Planting of the Lord, [so] that He might be glorified.] |
Let the saints be joyful in glory & let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth & a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen & [punishment] upon the people. |
To bind their kings with chains & their nobles with [shackles] of iron. To execute upon them, the judgment written: All the saints have this honor. Praise you the Lord. |
