The Vision of Egypt |
Isaiah 19:1-25 The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks] |
The burden, [a.k.a. vision] of Egypt. [Look,] the Lord rides upon a swift cloud & shall come into Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall be [removed] at His presence & the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. [Revelation 1:7-8 [See,] He comes with clouds & every eye shall see Him. |
And also [those who] pierced Him & all the [families] of the earth shall wail, because of Him. Even so, Amen. I Am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the Ending, says the Lord, [Who] is & [Who] was & [Who] is to come, the Almighty.] |
And I will [pit] the Egyptians against the Egyptians. And everyone shall fight against his brother & against his neighbor. City against city & kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in [its] midst. |
And I will destroy the counsel [of it] & they shall seek to the idols & to charmers & to those who have familiar spirits, [a.k.a. calling up the dead] & to wizards. [Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say to you, See to [those who] have familiar spirits & to wizards that [whisper] & mutter, shouldn't the people seek to their God? For the Living, [not] to the dead?] |
And I will give the Egyptians over into the hand of a cruel lord & a fierce king shall rule over them, says the Lord, the Lord of Hosts. [Isaiah 20:4 So, shall [Assyria's] king, lead away the Egyptians prisoners & the Ethiopians [captive:] young, old, naked & barefoot, even with their [rear] uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.] |
And the waters shall fail from the sea & the river shall be wasted & dried up. And they shall turn [to] the rivers far away & the brooks of defense, [a.k.a. Canals of Egypt,] shall be emptied & dried up. |
The reeds & [rushes] shall wither. The paper reeds, [a.k.a. papyrus,] by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks & everything [planted] by the brooks, shall wither & shall be driven away & [exist] no [longer.] |
[2 Kings 19:24-25 I have [dug] & drunk strange waters & with the sole of My feet, I have dried up all the rivers of [surrounding] places. Haven't you heard long ago, how I have done it [from] ancient times, that I have formed it? Now, I have [had it happen,] that you should lay to waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.] |
The fishers shall also mourn & all [those who] cast their [hooks] into the brooks shall [grieve] & [those who] spread nets upon the waters shall [waste away.] [Additionally, those who] work [with] fine flax & [those who] weave [nets,] shall be [bewildered.] |
And all [those who] make sluices & ponds for fish, their purposes [for making these] shall be [shattered.] Surely, [Zoan's] princes are fools. The counsel of Pharaoh's [wisest] counselors [have] become [foolish.] How [do] you say to Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, [or] the son of ancient kings? |
Where are they? Where are your wise men? Let them tell you now & let them know what the Lord of Hosts has [intended for] Egypt. [Psalm 33:11-12 The counsel of the Lord stands forever & the thoughts of His heart, to all generations. Blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord & the people whom He has chosen for His Own inheritance.] |
The princes of Zoan [have] become fools & the princes of Noph are deceived. They have also seduced Egypt, even [those who] are the [chief support] of [its] tribes. The Lord has [mixed a contrary] spirit in [its] midst & they have caused Egypt to err in every work [it attempts,] like a [drunk] man, [who] staggers in his vomit. |
[1 Kings 22:21-22 And there came forth a spirit & stood [in front of] the Lord & said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said to him, [With what?] And he said, I will go [out] & I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And [God] said, Persuade him & also prevail. Go [out] & do so.] |
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, [that] the head, [a.k.a. the leader,] or the tail, [a.k.a. the worker,] the branch or [the reeds,] may do. [On] that day, Egypt shall be [similar] to women & [Egypt] shall be afraid & [fearful,] because of the Lord of [Host's] shaking hand, that He shall shake over it. |
[Isaiah 11:15 And the Lord shall [totally] destroy the [harbor] of the Egyptian Sea & with His mighty wind, He shall shake His hand over the river & shall [strike] it in the 7 streams & make men go over [on dry stream beds, barefoot.] |
And the land of Judah shall be a terror to Egypt, everyone, [who] makes mention [of it] shall be afraid [within] himself, because of the counsel the Lord of Hosts, [that] He has determined against it. [Isaiah 14:24 The Lord of Hosts has sworn, saying, [Certainly,] as I have thought, so shall it [happen;] and as I have [intended,] so shall it stand.] |
[On] that day, 5 cities in the land of Egypt shall speak the language of Canaan & swear to the Lord of Hosts. One shall be called, The City of Destruction. [On] that day, there shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt & a pillar at [its] border to the Lord. |
And it shall be for a sign & a witness to the Lord of Hosts, in the land of Egypt. For they shall cry [out] to the Lord, because of the oppressors & He shall send them a Savior & a [Mighty] One & He shall deliver them. |
[Isaiah 7:14-15 *Therefore the Lord, Himself, shall give you a sign. [Watch,] a virgin shall conceive & bear a Son & shall call His Name [Emmanuel.] He shall eat butter & honey, [so] that He may know to refuse the evil & choose the good.] |
And the Lord shall be known to Egypt & Egyptians shall know the Lord [on] that day & shall [produce sacrifices] & [offerings.] [Yes,] they shall [make] a vow to the Lord & [accomplish] it. |
[Isaiah 11:9-10 They shall not hurt, nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, [like] the waters cover the sea. *And [on] that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, [Who] shall stand for a [sign for] the people & the Gentiles shall seek to it & His rest shall be glorious.] |
And the Lord shall [strike] Egypt & He shall heal it. And they shall return, even to the Lord & He shall be [pleaded to, by] them & shall heal them. [Isaiah 30:26 [Additionally,] the light of the moon & the light of the sun, shall be 7 [times as bright,] as the light of 7 days, [on] that day that the Lord binds up the [bruise] of His people & heals the [blow] of their wound.] |
[On] that day, there shall be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria. And the Assyrian shall come into Egypt & the Egyptian into Assyria. And the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. |
[On] that day, Israel shall be the 3rd with Egypt & Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the Lord of Hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt, My people; Assyria, the work of My hands & Israel, [My] inheritance. [Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, unto good works, which God has ordained before, that we should [follow] in them.] |
The Lord God had writing Books of the Bible [in Smaller Chunks] on my heart, for those in our busy world, with [smaller chunks of time]. More posts will be added when completed!
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:
Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV.
Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning.
For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.
The Table Format:
The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.
