Isaiah 5:1-30                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, I will sing a song to my Well-beloved [for] my Beloved [about] His vineyard. My Well-beloved [has] a vineyard [on] a very fruitful hill. John 15:1-2 I Am the True Vine, & My Father Is the [Vineyard Keeper.] Every branch in Me that doesn't [bear, a.k.a. produce,] fruit, He [takes] away. And every branch that [produces] fruit, He [prunes] it, [so] that it may [produce] more fruit.]

And He fenced it, & gathered out the [rocks from it,] & planted it with the [best] vine, & built a tower in the [middle] of it, & also made a wine press [within it.] And He [watched] that it [would produce] grapes, & it [produced] wild grapes.  [Isaiah 1:23-24 Your princes are rebellious, & companions of thieves. Everyone [loves] gifts, & [follows] after rewards, [a.k.a. bribes.] They [don't] judge the fatherless, & neither [does] the [case] of the widow come to them. Therefore, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, [says,] Ah, I will ease [Myself] of [My] adversaries, & avenge [Myself] of [My] enemies.]

And O [residents] of Jerusalem, & men of Judah, I pray [that] you judge [between] Me & My vineyard, now. What more could have been done to My vineyard, that I haven't [already] done [to] it? [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you [who kill] the prophets, & stone [those who] are sent to [warn] you. How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen [gathers] her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [after this, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord.]

[Why] did it [produce] wild grapes, when I [watched so] that it [would produce] grapes? And now [come,] & I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard. I will take away [its] hedge, & break down [its] wall, & it shall be eaten up; & [trampled] down. [Revelation 3:19-21 I [reprimand] & chastise, as many as I love. Therefore, be zealous, & repent. [Watch,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who overcomes,] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne.]

And I will lay it [to] waste; & it shall not be pruned, nor [dug] [up;] but [sticker] & [thorn] [bushes] shall come up there. I will also command the clouds, [so] that they [don't] rain upon it. For the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts, is the house of Israel, & His pleasant plant [is] the men of Judah. [Psalm 10:17-18 Lord, You [have] heard the desire of the humble. You [will] prepare their ear to hear: to judge the fatherless, & the oppressed, [so] that the [men] of the earth may no [longer] oppress.]

And He looked for judgment, but [saw] oppression, & [looked] for righteousness, but [only heard] [an outcry.] [James 5:4 [See,] the [wages] of the  [laborers] who have [harvested] your fields, cry [out, about what] you kept back by fraud. And the [outcries] of [those who] have [harvested, have] entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabbath.]

Woe, [a.k.a. Distress,] to [those who] join house to house, & [put] field to field, [until there's] no place, that they may be alone in the midst of the earth! [Jeremiah 22:13-17 Woe to him [who builds] his house [through] [what is:] [unrighteous,] & his [rooms] by [what is:] wrong; & [uses] his [neighbor's] service, [a.k.a. labor,] without wages, [doesn't give] him [anything] for his work. [Who says,] I will build [myself] a wide house & large [rooms,] & [cuts himself] out windows, & it's [paneled] with cedar, & painted with vermillion, [a.k.a. red.] [Shall] you [rule,] because you [enclosed] yourself in cedar? Didn't your father eat & drink, & do [what is:] judgment, & justice, & then it [went] well [for] him? He judged the [case] of the poor & needy; & then, it [went] well [for] him. [Isn't] this to know Me? [says] the Lord. But your eyes, & your heart, aren't [focused on Me,] but [only] for [what you] [envy,] & for [shedding] [the] blood [of the] innocent, & oppression, & [doing] [what is:] [violent.]

[From the outcry] in [My] ears, the Lord of Hosts said, [It's] [truthful] [that] many houses shall be desolate, [a.k.a. abandoned,] even [large & nice] [houses] without [residents.] [Yes,] 10 acres of vineyard, shall [produce] 1 bath, [a.k.a. about 5 ½ gallons,] & a homer of seed [a.k.a. about 220 liters,] & shall [produce] an ephah [a.k.a. about 22 liters.] [Ezekiel 45:10 You shall have just, [a.k.a. honest:] balances, [a.k.a. scales;] a just ephah; & a just bath.]

[Distress] to [those who] rise up early in the morning, [so] that they may follow strong drink; & continue until night, [until] wine [inflames] them! [Ephesians 5:17-18 [For this reason, don't] you be unwise, but [be] understanding what the will of the Lord is. And [don't] be drunk with wine [to] excess. But be filled with the [Holy] Spirit.]

And the harp, [lyre, tambourine, flute,] & wine, are in their feasts: but they [don't] regard the [Lord's] work, neither [do they] consider the [operations] of His hands. [Psalm 28:4-5 Give them according to their deeds, & according to the wickedness of their [actions.] Give them [according] [to] the work [made with] his hands. [Give] to them [what] [they deserve.] Because they [don't] regard the works of the Lord, nor the [actions] of His hands. He shall destroy them, & not build them up.]

Therefore, because they have no knowledge, My people [have] gone into captivity, & their [honorable] men are [starving,] & their [multitudes] [are] dried up, [a.k.a. parched,] with thirst.

[2 Kings 21:2-7 And [Manasseh] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord, [according to] the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before, [a.k.a. prior to,] the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. For [Manasseh] built up the high places again [that] Hezekiah, his father, had destroyed. And he [put] up altars for Baal, & made a grove, [like] king Ahab of Israel did, & worshiped all the host, [a.k.a. stars & constellations,] of heaven, & served them.] And [Manasseh] built altars in the [Lord's] house, [about] which the Lord said, I will put My Name in Jerusalem. And [Manasseh] built altars for all the host of heaven in the 2 courts of the [Lord's] house. And [Manasseh] made his son pass through the fire, & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology, & horoscopes,] & used enchantments, [a.k.a. witchcraft,] & dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. those who contact the dead,] & wizards.

[Manasseh brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger. And [Manasseh put from] the grove, a [carved] image, that he had made, [into] the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said to David, & to his son, Solomon, I will put My Name forever, in this house, & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.]

Therefore, hell [has] enlarged [itself,] & opened [its] mouth [beyond] measure. And their glory, their multitude, & their [pageantry,] & he [who rejoices,] shall descend into [hell.]

And the [average] man shall be brought down, & the mighty man shall be humbled, & the [arrogant] eyes shall be humbled. But the Lord of Hosts shall be exalted in judgment, & God, [Who] is Holy, shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Then, the lambs shall feed [according to] their [customary] manner, & strangers, [a.k.a. foreigners,] shall eat the fat [sheep in] the waste [lands.] [Ezekiel 34:9-13 Therefore, O you shepherds, hear the Word of the Lord. The Lord God [says this; Watch,] I am against the shepherds. And I will [hold them responsible for] My flock, [that's] [under] their hand, [a.k.a. control,] & cause them to [stop] from feeding the flock.

Neither shall the shepherds feed themselves anymore. For I will deliver My flock from their mouth, [so] that they may not be meat for the [shepherds.] For the Lord God [says this; Look,] I, even I, will both search [for] My sheep, & seek them out. [Like] a shepherd [seeks] out his flock, [on] the day that he is among his sheep, [who] are scattered. [This way,] I will seek out My sheep, & will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered [on] the cloudy, & dark day. And I will bring them out, from the people, & gather them from the countries, & will bring them to their own land, & feed them by the rivers, upon the mountains of Israel, & in all the inhabited places of the country.]

[Distress] to those [who] draw iniquity with cords of vanity. [John 4:10-11 Jesus answered, & said to her, If you [knew] the gift of God, & Who it is, [Who says] to you, Give Me [something] to drink; you [would] have asked [from] Him, & He would have given you Living Water. The woman [said] to [Jesus,] Sir, You [have] nothing to draw with, & the well is deep. Then, from [where] [do] You [have] this Living Water?]

And [draw] sins [like] with a rope [for] a cart. [They] say: Let Him speed [up,] & [rush] His work, [so] that we may see it. And let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw [near,] & come, [so] that we may know it!

[Jeremiah 16:19-21 O Lord, my strength, my fortress, & my refuge [on] the day of affliction. The Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth, & shall say, Surely our [forefathers] have inherited lies, vanity, & things [in which] there is no [benefit.] Shall a man make gods to himself, & they are [not] gods? Therefore, [look,] I will this once cause them to know, & I will cause them to know [My] hand, & My [strength,] & they shall know that My Name is The Lord.]

[Distress] to [those, who] call [what is:] evil, good, & [call what is:] good, evil; that put darkness, for light, & light, for darkness; that [puts] bitter, for sweet, & sweet, for bitter! [1 John 1:5-7 Then, this is the message [that] we have heard [from] Him, & declare to you, that God is Light, & there is no darkness at all in Him. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, & walk, [a.k.a. follow,] in darkness, we lie, & don't [have] the Truth. But if we [follow] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

[Distress] to [those, who] are wise in their own eyes, & [cautious] in their own sight! [Distress] to [those, who are] mighty wine [drinkers,] & men of strength, to [mix] strong [drinks: & who] justify the wicked for reward, [a.k.a. bribe,] & take away the [virtue] of the righteous from him! [Micah 3:10-12 They build up Zion with [bloodshed,] & [build up] Jerusalem with [sinfulness.] [It's leaders,] judge for reward, [a.k.a. bribes, its] priests teach for [pay,] & [its] prophets divine for money. Will they [still] lean upon the Lord, & say, Isn't the Lord among us? No evil can come upon us. Therefore, for your sake, Zion shall be plowed [like] a field, & Jerusalem shall become [a ruinous] heap, & the mountain of the [Lord's] house, [shall become] [like] the high places of the forest.]

Because they have [thrown] away the Law of the Lord of Hosts, & despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel, therefore, [like] the fire [devours] the stubble, & the flame [consumes] the [debris,] so their root shall be [like] [what is:] [rotten,] & their blossom shall go up [like] dust.

[Job 18:16-17 His roots shall be dried up [below,] & his branch shall be cut off above. His remembrance shall perish from the earth, & he shall have no name [remaining] in the street.]

[For this reason,] the anger of the Lord [grew] against His people, & He [has] stretched [out] His hand against them, & [has struck] them. And the hills [trembled,] & their [corpses] were torn in the [middle] of the streets. For all His anger [hasn't] turned away, but His hand is still [outstretched.]

And He will lift up [a sign] to the nations from far, & will [whistle to] them from the end of the earth. And, [see,] they shall come swiftly with speed. [Isaiah 11:10-12 *And [on] that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, which shall stand for a [sign] of the people; & the Gentiles shall seek it, & His rest shall be glorious.

And it shall [happen on] that day, that the Lord shall [put] His hand, [in] again the 2nd time, to recover the [rest] of His people, [who] shall be left, from: Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, & from the islands of the sea.

And He shall [put] up a [sign] for the nations, & shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, & gather the [scattered] of Judah, from the 4 corners of the earth.]

None shall be weary, [a.k.a. tired,] nor stumble among them. None shall slumber, nor sleep. Neither shall the [belt on] their [waist] be [loosened,] nor the [buckle] of their shoes be broken. [Those] whose arrows are sharp, & all their bows are [aimed &] bent, their horses' [hooves] shall be [considered] like flint, & their wheels like a [tornado.]

Their roaring [wheels] shall be like a lion. They shall roar like young lions. [Yes,] they shall roar, & [seize] the prey, & shall carry it away [safely,] & none shall deliver it.

And [on] that day, they shall roar against them like the sea roaring, & if [someone looks] to the land, & [sees,] darkness & sorrow. And the light in the heavens is darkened.

[Joel 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; & the heavens shall tremble. The sun & the moon shall be dark, & the stars shall withdraw their [light from] shining.]
