About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah 28:1-29 Ephraim's Drunkards Shall be Trampled Underfoot

Ephraim's Drunkards Shall be Trampled Underfoot

Isaiah 28:1-29                           The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Distress for] the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a crown of pride & a fading flower, on the head of the [rich] valleys of [those] overcome by wine. [Look,] the Lord shall cast down to the earth the hand [of] a mighty strong one, [who is like] a [hailstorm] & a [destructive hurricane, like] a flood of mighty overflowing waters.

The drunkards of Ephraim, the crown of pride, shall be [trampled underfoot.] And the glorious beauty, on the head of the [rich] valleys, shall be a fading flower & [like] the [first] fruit before summer, [that is gobbled] up, when he looks [at] it, while it's [still] in his hand.

[On] that day, the Lord of Hosts shall be for a crown of glory & a [garland] of beauty, to the [remaining] of His people & for a Spirit of [justice] to him, who] sits in judgment & for strength to [those who return] the [dispute back] to the gate. [Proverbs 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.]

But also they have erred through wine & strong drink & [have gone astray.] The priest & the prophet have erred through strong drink & they are swallowed up [by] wine. They [have gone astray] through strong drink & they err in [visions] & stumble in judgment. For all [the] tables are full of vomit & filthiness, so there is no clean place.

[Proverbs 23:30-32 [Those who stay] [too] long at wine & [those who] go to seek mixed [drinks.] [Don’t] look upon the wine when it’s red, when it [sparkles] in the cup, when it moves itself [around.] At the [end] it bites like a [snake] & stings like a [cobra.]

Whom shall he teach knowledge? [Jeremiah 8:9 The wise men & [captured] are ashamed & [distressed.] [Look,] they have rejected the Word of the Lord. What wisdom is in them?] And whom shall he make [able] to understand doctrine? [Those who] [are new to the faith, like they are,] drawn from the breasts & weaned from the milk.

For precept, [a.k.a. commandment] must be upon precept; precept upon precept; line upon line; line upon line; [to develop understanding,] here a little & there a little.

For with stammering lips & another tongue He will speak to this people. [1 Corinthians 14:21 In the Law it is written, With men of other tongues & other lips, I will speak to this people. And [still, after] all that, they won’t hear Me, says the Lord.] To whom He said, This is the rest [with which] you may cause the [tired] to rest. And this is [for] refreshing. [Still,] they wouldn't hear.

But [instead,] the Word of the Lord was to them: precept, [a.k.a. commandment,] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line; line upon line; here a little & there a little; [so] that they might go & fall backward & be [separated,] snared & taken.

[Isaiah 29:13 [For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since,] this people draw near to Me & do honor Me with their mouth & lips, but have removed their heart far from Me & their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the [commandments] of men.]

[For this reason,] hear the Word of the Lord, you [men who look down on others] & rule this people, [who are] in Jerusalem. Because you have said, We have made a covenant [contract] with death & we are [in] agreement with hell.

When the overflowing [affliction] shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge & we have hidden ourselves under [falsehoods.]

*Therefore, the Lord God says this, [Watch,] I lay a stone in Zion for a foundation. A [tested] stone, a precious cornerstone, [for a secure] foundation. He, [who] believes shall not [hurry.]

[Luke 20:17-18 *And when [Jesus saw] them & said, Then, this is what was written: The stone which the builders rejected, the same [has] become the head of the corner. *[Whoever] shall fall upon that stone shall be broken, but on [whomever] it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.]

I will also [carry out justice, like] the [measuring] line & righteousness [like] the plummet, [a.k.a. plumb-line.] And hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies & the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant [contract] with death shall be [overturned] & your agreement with hell shall not stand [& shall be made ineffective.]

When the overflowing [affliction] shall pass through, then you shall be [trampled] down by it. [2 Kings 7:18-20 And it [happened like] the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, 2 measures of barley [whall sell] for a shekel & 1 measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall [happen] tomorrow [around] this time in the gate of Samaria.

And the [king's lord] [appointed to be in charge of the gate,] answered the man of God & said, Now, [look,] if the Lord should make windows in heaven, might [something like this] thing be?

And [the man of God,] said, [Look,] you shall see it with your [own] eyes, but [you] shall not eat [of it.] And so it [happened to him:] for the people [trampled] upon him in the gate & he died.]

From the time the [affliction] goes [out,] it [shall continue to] take you [when] it [passes over, morning [by] morning, [both] day & by night. And [just trying] to understand the report, shall be a [terror.]

For the bed is shorter than a man can stretch himself [out] on it. And the covering, narrower than he can wrap himself in it. For the Lord shall rise up [like] in Mount Perazim. He shall be [angry like] in the Valley of Gibeon, [so] that He may do His work. HIs strange work & His strange act & [have it happen.]

[Numbers 16:29-32 And if these men die the [normal] death of all men, or if they [are punished like] all men, then the Lord hasn't sent me. But if the Lord [makes] a new thing & the earth [opens its] mouth & [swallows] them up, with all that [belongs] to them & they go down [alive] into the pit, then you shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.

And as he [finished] speaking all these words, it [happened,], that the ground that was under them [cracked open.] And the earth opened [its] mouth & swallowed them up & their houses & all the men [who pertained to] Korah & all their goods.]

Therefore, now [don't] be mockers, lest your [shackles are] made strong; for I have heard from the Lord God of Hosts, a [destruction,] is even determined upon the whole earth. [Lean your] ear & hear my voice & [pay attention] & hear [what I say.]

Does the plowman plow all day [in order] to sow [seeds?] Does he open [up the rows] & break [up] the [dirt] clods of his ground? When he has made [level its surface,] doesn't he [throw out dill seed,] scatter the cumin, [plant the main] wheat [in the rows,] & the barley & rye [seed that's been set aside] in their place?

For his God [instructs] & [teaches] him [to make responsible choices.] For the [dill seeds] are not threshed with a threshing [machine,] neither is a [wheeled] cart [rolled around] upon the cumin, but the [dill seeds] are beaten out with a [walking stick] & the cumin with a rod.

He won't ever [thresh grain for] bread, nor break it with the cart wheel, nor crush it with his horsemen, [because it must be ground.] This, [knowledge,] also comes from the Lord of Hosts, [Who] is wonderful in [advice] & excellent in [work.]
