Their Feet Run to Do Evil & They Hurry to Shed Innocent Blood |
Isaiah 59:1-21 The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks] |
[Look,] the Lord's hand isn't shortened, that it can't save. Neither [is] His ear heavy, that it can't hear. [Jeremiah 32:1 Ah, Lord God! [See,] You have made the heaven & the earth by Your great power & [outstretched] arm & there is nothing too hard for You.] |
But your iniquities have separated [& have come] between you & your God & your sins have [hidden] His face from you, [so] that He won't hear. For your hands are defiled with [bloodshed] & your fingers with [sin]. Your lips have spoken lies & your tongue has [expressed what is wicked.] |
[Jeremiah 2:26-28 [Like] a thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they & their: kings, princes, priests & their prophets. Saying to a [tree stump,] You are my father & to a [rock,] You have [delivered] me. For they have turned their back to Me & not their face. |
But in the time of their trouble, they will say, Arise & save us. But where are your gods that you have made [yourselves?] Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble. For your gods, O Judah, are according to the number of your cities.] |
None call for justice, nor [do] any plead for truth. They trust in [what is] vanity & speak lies. They [devise plots] & [produce] [what is sinful.] They hatch [wicked plans like poisonous] [viper's] eggs [hatch] & weave [plots like] the spider's web. He, [who] eats their eggs dies & [what] is crushed [hatches] out into a viper. |
Their webs shall not become [clothing,] neither shall they cover themselves with their works. Their works are [sinful] works. And in their hands is the act of violence. Their feet [race] to evil & they [hurry] to shed [the] blood [of the] innocent. Their thoughts are the thoughts of [sinfulness.] |
[Ruin] & destruction are in their paths. They [don't] know the way of peace & there is no [justice] in their [actions.] They have made [themselves deceitful] paths. [Whoever] goes [there] shall not know peace. Therefore, judgment is far from us, neither does justice [come over] us. |
We wait for light, but [see fogginess;] [we wait] for brightness, but we walk in darkness. [John 1:9-10 That was the True Light, [that enlightens] every man, [who] comes into the world. He was in the world & the world was made by Him & the world [didn't] know Him.] |
We [grasp] for the wall, like the blind & we [grasp like] we had no eyes. We stumble at [noon like] in the night. We are in: desolate, [lonely] places [like] dead men. We all roar like bears & [moan sadly] like doves. We look for [justice,] but there is none & [we look] for Salvation, but it is far [away] from us. |
For our transgressions are multiplied before You & our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, [like] our [sins] & we know them, in: [sinning] & lying against the Lord & [turning] away from our God & speaking [words of:] oppression & revolt & [plotting] & uttering words of falsehood from the heart. |
And [judgment has gone astray] & justice stands [far away.] For truth [has] fallen in the street & equity can't enter. [Yes,] truth fails & he [who] departs from evil, makes himself a prey & the Lord saw it & it displeased Him that there was no [justice.] |
[Isaiah 10:1-2 Woe to [those who command wicked] decrees & write [what is grievous,] which they have [authorized:] to turn [away] the needy from [justice] & to take away the [rights] of the poor of My people. [So,] that widows may be their prey & that they may rob the fatherless!] |
And He saw that there was no man & wondered that there wasn't [any to plead on their behalf.] Therefore, His arm brought Salvation to [them] & sustained [them with] His righteousness. [1 John 2:1-2 My little children, I write these things to you [so] you [don't] sin. |
And if any man [sins,] we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous. And He is the [atonement] for our sins. And not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.] |
For He put on righteousness [like] a breastplate & a helmet of Salvation upon His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing & was [dressed] with zeal for a cloak. |
He will repay fury to His adversaries & [retribution] to His enemies, according to their deeds. To the [coastal] islands, He will repay accordingly. [Isaiah 35:4 Say to [those with] a fearful heart, Be strong & [don't] fear. [Look,] your God will come with vengeance, even God with a [repayment.] He will come & save you.] |
So, shall they from the West fear [respect] the Name of the Lord & from the [sunrise in the East,] [shall respect] His glory. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord, shall lift up a [banner] against him. |
[Revelation 12:15-16 And the serpent [spewed] water out if his mouth [like] a flood, after the woman, [so] that he might cause her to be carried away [by] the flood. And the earth helped the woman. And the earth opened [its] mouth & swallowed up the flood, [that] the dragon [spewed] out of his mouth.] |
And the Redeemer shall come to Zion & to [those who] turn [away] from [sin] in Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] says the Lord. As for Me, this is My Covenant [contract] with them, says the Lord. |
My spirit that is upon you & My Words [that] I have put in your mouth, shall not [leave from] your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your [offspring,] nor out of the [mouths] of your [descendants,] from [now on] & forever, says the Lord. |
