Their Feet Run to Do Evil & They Hurry to Shed Innocent Blood

Isaiah 59:1-21                               The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Look,] the Lord's hand isn't shortened, that it can't save. Neither [is] His ear heavy, that it can't hear. [Jeremiah 32:17 Ah, Lord God! [See,] You [have] made the heaven, & the earth, by Your great power & [outstretched] arm, & there is nothing too hard for You.]

But your iniquities have separated, [& have come] between you, & your God, & your sins have [hidden] His face from you, [so] that He won't hear. For your hands are defiled with [bloodshed,] & your fingers with [sinfulness.]  [Isaiah 1:15-16 And when you spread [out] your hands, I will hide [My] eyes from you. [Yes,] when you make many prayers, I won't hear. Your hands are full of [bloodshed.] Wash [yourselves,] & make [yourself] clean. Put away the evil of your [actions] from before [My] eyes, & [stop doing] [what is:] evil.]

Your lips have spoken lies, & your tongue [has] muttered [what is:] [wicked.]  [Jeremiah 2:26-28 [Like] a thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, & their: kings, princes, priests, & their prophets. Saying to a [tree] [stump,] You [are] my father; & to a stone, [a.k.a. rock,] You [have delivered] me. For they have turned their back to Me, & not their face.

But in the time of their trouble, they will say, Arise, & save us. But where are your gods that you [have] made [yourselves?] Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble. For your gods, O Judah, are according to the number of your cities.]

None [call] for justice, nor [do] any [plead] for truth. They trust in [what is] vanity, & speak lies. They [devise plots,] & [produce] [what is:] [sinful.] [Isaiah 41:28-29 For I [saw,] & there was no man; & no [counselor,] even among them, that, when I asked them, could answer a word. [Look,] they are all vanity; their works are nothing; & their [molded] images, [a.k.a. idols,] are wind & confusion.]

They hatch [wicked plans like poisonous] [vipers'] eggs [hatch,] & weave [intricate plots like] the spider's web. He, [who eats] their eggs [dies,] & [what] is crushed [hatches] out into a viper. Their webs shall not become [clothing,] neither shall they cover themselves with their works. Their works are [sinful] works. [Isaiah 2:8 Also their land is full of idols. They worship the work [from] their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.]

And in their hands is the act of violence. Their feet [race] to evil, & they [hurry] to shed [the] blood [of the] innocent. Their thoughts are the thoughts of [sinfulness.] [2 Kings 21:16 [Also,] Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, [until] he had filled Jerusalem from one end to the another; [in addition to] his sin [with which] he made Judah sin, in doing [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord.]

[Ruin,] & destruction are in their paths. They [don't] know the way of peace, & there is no judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] in their [actions.] They have made [themselves] crooked paths. [Whoever] goes [there] shall not know peace. [Psalm 125:4-5 O Lord, do good unto those [who are] good, & to [those, who have] upright, [a.k.a. honest,] hearts. As for such as turn aside, [a.k.a. are led astray,] to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them [out] with the workers of [sinfulness:] but peace shall be upon Israel.]

Therefore, judgment is far from us, & neither [does] justice [come over] us. We wait for light, but [see blurriness;] [we wait] for brightness, but we walk in darkness. [1 John 1:5-7 Then, this is the message [that] we have heard [from Jesus Christ,] & declare to you, that God Is Light, & there is no darkness at all in Him. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, & walk, [a.k.a. follow,] in darkness, we lie, & [don't] [have] the Truth. But if we [follow] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

Like the blind, we grope for the wall, & we [grab, like] we had no eyes. We stumble at [noon, like] in the night. We are in: desolate, [lonely] places [like] dead men. We all roar like bears, & [moan sadly] like doves. We look for judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] but there is none, & [we look] for Salvation, but it is far [away] from us. [Isaiah 1:23-24 Your princes are rebellious, & [are] companions of thieves. Everyone [loves] gifts, & [follows] after rewards, [a.k.a. bribes.] They [don't] judge the fatherless, & neither [does] the [case] of the widow come to them. Therefore, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, [says,] Ah, I will ease [Myself] of [My] adversaries, & avenge [Myself] of [My] enemies.]

For our transgressions are multiplied before You, & our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, [like] our [sins,] & we know them: [sinning,] & lying against the Lord, & [turning] away from our God, & speaking [about:] oppression, revolt, & [plotting,] & uttering words of falsehood from the heart.

And judgment [has gone astray,] & justice [stands far away.] For truth [has] fallen in the street, & equity can't enter. [Yes,] truth fails, [a.k.a. ceases to exist,] & he [who departs] from evil, [makes] himself a prey, & the Lord saw it, & it displeased Him that there was no judgment, [a.k.a. justice.] [Isaiah 10:1-2 Woe to [those, who] decree unrighteous decrees, & write [grievous] [laws] that they have [imposed,] [in order] to [deprive] the needy from judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] & to take away the [rights] from the poor of My people, [so] that widows may be [plundered,] & [so] that they may rob the fatherless!]

And He saw that there was no man, & wondered that there [wasn't any to plead] [on their behalf.] Therefore, His arm brought Salvation to him, [a.k.a. Israel,] & sustained him [with] His [righteous] [arm.]

[1 John 2:1-2 My little children, [a.k.a. new believers in Christ,] I write these things to you, [so] that you [don't] sin. And if any man [sins,] we have an advocate with the Father, the Righteous, Jesus Christ. And He is the [atonement] for our sins, & not only for [our] [sins,] but also for the sins of the whole world.]

For He put on righteousness [like] a breastplate, & [a] helmet of Salvation upon His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, & was [dressed] with zeal, as a cloak. Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the whole [armor] of God, [so] that you may be able to stand [up] against the wiles, [a.k.a. tricks,] of the devil. For we [don't] wrestle against flesh & blood, but against: principalities, powers, rulers of the [world's] darkness, & against spiritual wickedness in high places.]

He will repay fury to His adversaries, & [retribution] to His enemies, & to the [coastal] islands, He will repay recompense according to their deeds. [Isaiah 35:4 Say to [those with] a fearful heart, Be strong, & [don't] fear. [Look,] your God will come with vengeance, even God with a [repayment.] He will come, & save you.]

So, shall they from the West fear, [a.k.a. respect,] the Name of the Lord, & [those] from the [sunrise in the East,] [shall respect] His glory. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the [Holy] Spirit of the Lord, shall lift up a [banner] against him.

[Revelation 12:15-17 And the serpent [spewed] water out of his mouth [like] a flood, after the woman, [so] that he might cause her to be carried away [by] the flood. And the earth helped the woman. And the earth opened [its] mouth, & swallowed up the flood, [that] the dragon [spewed] out of his mouth. And the dragon was [enraged,] with the woman, & went to make war with the [rest] of her seed, [a.k.a. descendants, who] keep [God's] commandments, & have the Testimony [about] Jesus Christ.]

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, & to [those who] turn [away] from [sin] in Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel, says] the Lord. As for Me, this is My Covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with them, [says] the Lord.

My [Holy] Spirit that is upon you, & My Words [that] I have put in your mouth, shall not [leave from] your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, [a.k.a. offspring,] nor out of the [mouths] of your seed's seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] from [now on,] & forever, [says] the Lord. [Hebrews 8:10-12 For after those days, this is the covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] that I will make with the house of Israel, [says] the Lord. I will put My Laws into their minds, & write them [within] their hearts. And I will be a God to them, & they shall be a people to Me. And every man shall not teach his neighbor, & every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know Me, from the [powerless] to the [powerful.] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. And I will no [longer] remember their sins & iniquities.]
