About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 48:1-47 Warnings of Many of the Places That Will Be Plundered

Warnings of Many of the Places That Will Be Plundered

Jeremiah 48:1-47                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this] against Moab. Woe to Nebo! For it is [plundered.] Kiriathaim is [confused & captured.] Misgab is [ashamed & discouraged.] There shall no [longer] be praise of Moab. They have [plotted] evil against it in Heshbon.

[Numbers 23:7-8 And [Balaam] took up his parable & said, Balak, [Moab's] king, has brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the East, saying, Come & curse [for] me Jacob & come defy Israel. How shall I curse, whom God hasn't cursed? Or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hasn't defied?]

Also, you shall be cut down, O Madmen, [a.k.a. Madmeneh & dunghill,] & the sword shall pursue you. [Isaiah 16:14 But now, the Lord has spoken, saying, Within 3 years, [like] the years of [a hired worker,] the glory of Moab shall be [despised,] with all that great multitude & [those remaining] shall be very small & feeble.]

From Heronaim, shall be a [sound] of crying, [plundering] & great destruction. Moab is destroyed & her little ones have caused [an out] cry to be heard. For continual weeping shall go up, [as they climb,] going up to Luhith. For the enemies have heard an [out] cry of destruction, going down [from] Horonaim.

Flee & save your lives & be like the [wastelands] in the wilderness, because you have trusted in your works & in your treasures. [Isaiah 2:8 Their land is also full of idols. They worship the works of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.]

You shall also be [captured] & Chemosth shall go into captivity with his priests & princes together. [1 Kings 11:32-33 (But he shall have 1 tribe for My servant, David's sake & for Jerusalem's sake. The city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:) Because they have [abandoned] Me & have worshiped: Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Zidonians; Chemosh, the god of the Moabites; & Milcom, the god of the children [people] of Ammon; & haven't [followed] in My ways, to do [what] is right in [My] eyes & to keep My [mandates] & My judgments, as did David, his father.]

And the [plunderer] shall come upon every city & no city shall escape. Also, the valley shall perish & the plain shall be destroyed, as the Lord has [said.] Give wings to Moab, [so] that it may flee & get away. For [its] cities shall be desolate, without [anyone to live in it.]

Cursed be he, [who] deceitfully does the work of the Lord. And cursed be he, [who] keeps his sword back from [bloodshed.] [1 Kings 20:42 And he said to him, The Lord says [this,] Because you have let a man go whom I appointed to [total] destruction, [from] your hand, therefore, your life shall go [in exchange] for his life & your people [in exchange] for his people.]

Moab has been at ease from his youth & has settled on his lees, [like wine that] hasn't [been] emptied from [one] vessel [into another] vessel. Neither has he gone into captivity. Therefore, his [flavor] remained [intact] & his [aroma hasn't] changed.

The Lord says, Therefore, [watch,] the days come, that I will send [vagabonds into Moab, who] shall cause [Moab] to wander. And shall empty his vessels & break their bottles. And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, [like] the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth El, their confidence.

[2 Kings 23:13-15 And king [Josiah defiled;] the high places that were [in front of] Jerusalem, on the right hand [side] of the Mount of Corruption, [that] Solomon, [Israel's] king, had [built] for Ashtoreth, the abomination of the Zidonians & for Chemosh, the abomination of the Moabites & for Milcom, the abomination of the children [people] of Ammon.

And he [broke] the images in pieces & cut down the groves & filled their places with the bones of men. [Additionally,] the altar that was in BethEl & the high place [that] Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, who made Israel to sin, had made. He broke down both that altar & the high place & stamped it small to powder & burned the grove.]

How [do] you say, We are strong & mighty men for war? Moab [has] gone up out of [its] cities & is [plundered.] [Its best] young men [have] gone done [in] the slaughter, says the King, Whose Name is the Lord of Hosts. [Moab's] calamity is [close at hand] & his affliction [advances quickly.]

All you, [who] are around [those of Moab, mourn for] him. And all you [who] know his name, say, How [has] the strong staff & beautiful rod broken? [Isaiah 15:7-9 Therefore, the abundance they have gotten & [what] they have [stored] up, they shall carry away to the Brook of the Willows.

For the [out] cry [has] gone [up around Moab's] borders; the howling [of it all the way] to Eglaim & to Beer Elim. For [Dimon's] waters shall be full of blood. For I will bring more upon Dimon, [a.k.a. Dibon,] lions upon him, [who] escapes [from] Moab & upon the [rest] of the land.]

You daughter, [who inhabits] Dibon, [a.k.a. Diban & Dimon,] come down from your glory & [now] sit in thirst. For the [plunderer] of Moab, shall come upon you & shall destroy your strongholds. [Numbers 21:29-31 Woe to you, Moab! You are undone, O people of Chemosh.

He has given his sons & daughters, [who] escaped into captivity to Sihon, the [Amorites'] king. We have shot at them. Heshbon [has] perished, even to Dibon. And we have laid them [to] waste, even to Nophah, [that extends] to Medeba. [Therefore,] Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.]

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the [road] & [check it out.] Ask him, [who] flees & her, [who] escapes & say, What [was] done? Moab is [ashamed,] for it is broken down. Howl & cry [out;] & you tell it in Arnon, that Moab is [plundered.]

[Numbers 21:13 For they removed from [there] & pitched [tents] on the other side of Arnon, which is in wilderness that comes out of the coast of the Amorites. For Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab & the Amorites.]

And judgment [has] come upon the [plains region;] upon Holon; Jahazah, [a.k.a. Jahzah;] Mephaath; Dibon; Nebo; Beth Diblathaim; Kiriathaim; Beth Gamul; Beth Meon; Kerioth; Bozrah; & upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.

The horn of Moab is cut off & his arm is broken, says the Lord. You, make him drunk: for he magnified himself against the Lord. Also, Moab shall also wallow in his vomit & he shall also be [a disgrace.] Wasn't Israel a [disgrace] to you?

Was [Israel] found among thieves? For since you have spoken of him, you skipped for joy. [Zephaniah 2:8 I have heard the [disapproval] of Moab & the [insults] of the children [people] of Ammon, [by which] they have [disgraced] My people & have magnified themselves against their [borders.]

O you, [who] dwell in Moab, leave the cities & dwell in the [rocks] & be like the dove that makes her nest in the sides of the [cave's] mouth. We have heard [Moab's] pride, (he is [exceedingly] proud,) [with:] his loftiness; [arrogance;] pride; & the [conceit] of his heart.

[Zephaniah 2:9-10 Woe to him, [who enviously desires what is] evil [for] his house, [so] that he may [put] his nest on high, [so] he may be delivered from the power of [disaster!] You have [given shameful advice] to your house, cutting off many people & have sinned against your [life.]

The Lord says, I know his [fury;] but it shall not be so. His lies shall [be ineffective.] Therefore, I will howl & cry out for all Moab. [My] heart shall mourn for the men of Kir Heres. [Isaiah 16:7 Therefore, Moab shall howl for Moab. Everyone shall howl: for they shall mourn & howl for [Kir Hareseth's] foundations. Surely, they are [struck.]

O vine of Sibman, I will [cry] for you with the weeping of Jazer. Your [vines, a.k.a. inhabitants, have] gone over the sea, they even reach to the Sea of Jazer. [Those who plunder] you [will fall] upon your summer fruits & upon your [grape harvest.]

[Isaiah 16:8-9 The fields of Heshbon [wither] & the [heathen's] lords have broken down the [main] plants of the [vines] of Sibmah. They have even come to Jazer & they wandered through the wilderness.

Her branches, [a.k.a. vines,] are stretched out & they [have] gone over the sea. Therefore, I will [mourn] the vine of Sibmah, with the weeping of Jazer. I will water you with My tears, O Heshbon & Elealeh: for your harvest & shouting for your summer fruits [has stopped.]

And joy & gladness is taken from the plentiful field & from the land of Moab. And I have caused [the] wine to fail from the [wine vats.] [No one] shall [trample] [grapes] with shouting. There shall [not] be [any] shouting. From the [out] cry of Heshbon, even to Elealeh & even to Jahaz, they have uttered their voice, from Zoar, even to Horonaim, [like] a 3 year old heifer.

For the waters of Nimrim, shall also be desolate. The Lord says, [Additionally,] I will cause him, [who] burns incense to his gods & him, [who] offers in the high places to cease in Moab. Therefore, [My] heart shall sound like pipes for Moab & [My] heart shall sound like pipes for the men of Kir Heres, because the riches that he [had] gotten [are] perished.

For every head shall be bald & every beard clipped & cuttings upon every hand & sackcloth upon [their waists.] [Isaiah 22:12 And [on] that day, the Lord of Hosts, [called] to: weeping, mourning, baldness & [wearing] sackcloth.]

Generally, there shall be [mourning] upon the housetops of Moab & in [its] streets. For I have broken Moab like a [hard clay] vessel, [in which there] is no pleasure, says the Lord. They shall [wail,] saying, How it is broken down! How Moab has turned [their backs] with shame!

[Like this,] Moab shall be a [disgrace] & [discouraging] to all [those around] him. For the Lord says [this; Look,] he shall fly [like] an eagle & shall spread his wings over Moab. [Habakkuk 1:8 Their horses are also swifter than leopards & are more fierce than wolves [at night.] And their horsemen shall spread themselves [out] & shall come from far [away] & they shall fly [fast] as an eagle that [hurries] to eat.]

Kerioth & the strongholds [are] taken [by surprise.] And the hearts of the mighty [men] in Moab, shall be [like] the heart of a woman in her [labor pains, on] that day. And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the Lord.

[Psalm 83:4-8 They have said, Come & let us cut them off  from being a nation; [so] that the name of Israel may no [longer be remembered.] For they have consulted together [in agreement] & they are [in an alliance] against You.

The [tents] of: Edom; Ishmaelites; Moab; Hagarenes; Gebal; Ammon; Amalek; Philistines & the [residents] of Tyre; Assur [has] also joined with them & they have [helped] the children [people] of Lot. Selah.]

The Lord says, O inhabitant of Moab, fear, the & the pit & the [trap] shall be upon you. He, [who] flees from the fear, shall fall into the pit. And he, [who] gets up out of the pit, shall be [caught] in the [trap.] For I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, [a.k.a. punishment,] says the Lord.

Because of the troops, [those who] fled, stood [hidden] under the shadow of Hesbon. But a fire shall come out of Heshbon & a flame from the midst of Sihon, [that] shall devour the corner of Moab & the crown [from] the head of the tumultuous ones.

Woe, [a.k.a. distress, is] to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh, perish, for your sons & daughters are taken [captive.] [Still,] I will bring again, [those from] Moab [in] captivity, says the Lord. [So] far, [this] is the judgment of Moab.
