About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 51:1-64 Babylon Shall Sink & Not Rise Again

Babylon Shall Sink & Not Rise Again

Jeremiah 51:1-64                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord says [this; Look,] I will raise up a destroying wind against: Babylon & [those who] dwell in the midst of [those who] rise up against Me. [2 Kings 19:7 [Look,] I will send a blast [of wind] upon him & he shall hear a rumour & shall return to his own land. And I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.]

And [I'll] send fanners to Babylon, [who] shall fan her & shall empty her land [like wheat is separated from the hull that blows away.] [Those] against her shall [surround around] her. Let the archer bend his bow, against him, who bends & against him, [who magnifies] himself in his [armor.]

And [don't] you spare her young men & you [shall totally] destroy all her [army.] [Like this,] the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans & [those who] are thrust through [shall fall] in her streets. For [neither] Israel, nor Judah, have been [abandoned] by his God, the Lord of Hosts, [although] their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon & every man deliver his [life.] [Don't] be cut off in her [sinfulness;] for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance & He will [give repayment] to her. Babylon has been a golden cup in the Lord's hand, that made all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine, therefore the nations are [insane.]

[Jeremiah 25:15-16 The Lord God of Israel [said this] to me, Take the wine cup of this fury [from] My hand & cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it. And they shall drink, be [shaken] & be [insane,] because of the sword that I will send among them.]

Babylon [has] suddenly fallen & [is] destroyed. Howl for her & take balm for her pain, [in case] she may be healed. [Revelation 14:8 And another Angel followed there, saying, Babylon [has] fallen, that great city [has fallen,] because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her [adultery, a.k.a. unfaithfulness.]

We would have healed Babylon, but she isn't healed. Abandon her & let's everyone go into his own country. For her judgment reaches to heaven & is lifted up, even to the skies. [Revelation 16:19 And the great city was divided into 3 parts. And the cities of the nation fell. And great Babylon [was remembered] to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath, before God.]

The Lord has brought [out] our righteousness. Come & let's declare in Zion, the work of the Lord our God. [Micah 7:9 I will [endure] the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against HIm, until He [pleads] my [case & carries out justice] for me. He will bring me [out] to the light & I shall [see] His righteousness.]

The Lord has raised up the spirit of the [Medes'] kings: for His [plan] against Babylon, to destroy it, because it is the vengeance of the Lord & the vengeance of His temple. Gather the shield & make the arrows bright [red.] [2 Kings 21:4-7 And he built altars in the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem I will put My Name.

And he built altars for all the [stars & constellations] of heaven, in the 2 courts of the Lord's house. And he made his son pass through the fire & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology & horoscopes,] used enchantments, dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. contacting the dead,] & dealt with wizards.

He [brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger. And he [put a carved] image [from] the grove, [into] the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said to David & to Solomon, his son, I will put My Name in this house forever & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.]

[Put] up the [banner] upon the walls of Babylon & [strengthen] the watch. Set up [guards] & prepare the ambushes: for the Lord has both [planned] & [accomplished what] He spoke against the [residents] of Babylon.

Your end [has] come for the [amount] of your [greed,] O you, [who] dwell upon many waters, abundant in treasures. The Lord of Hosts has Himself sworn, saying, Surely, I will fill you with [many] men, [like] caterpillars. And they shall lift up a shout against you.

[Jeremiah 49:13 For I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a [disgrace, a [wasteland] & a curse. And all [its] cities shall [continually] be [wastelands.]

By His power, He has made the earth & He has established the world by His wisdom & has stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He utters His voice, there [are] a multitude of waters in the heavens & He causes the vapors to [go up] from the ends of the earth, [a.k.a. evaporation.]

He makes [lightning] with rain & brings forth the wind out of His treasures. [In comparison to] His knowledge, every man is [ignorant.] Every [blacksmith] is [confused] by the [carved] image: for his [molded] image is falsehood & there is no breath in them. They are vanity, the work of errors.

In the time of their visitation, [a.k.a. punishment,] they shall perish. The portion of Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] isn't like them. For He is the [Maker] of all things & Israel is the [tribe] of His inheritance. The Lord of Hosts is His Name.

You [are] My battle ax & weapons of war. For with you, I will: break the nations in pieces, [a.k.a. shatter.] I will destroy kingdoms; I will break in pieces the horse & [its] rider; I will break in pieces man & woman; old & young; & young man & [maiden.]

Also, with you, I will break in pieces the shepherd & his flock; the [farmer] & his yoke of oxen; captains & rulers, [a.k.a. governors.] And I will [repay] Babylon & all the [residents] of Chaldea, [for] all their evil that they have done in Zion, in your sight, says the Lord.

The Lord says, [Look,] O destroying mountain, [that] destroys all the earth, I Am against you. And I will stretch out [My] hand upon you & roll you down from the rocks & will make you a burnt mountain. And they shall not take [from] you a stone; for a corner, nor for foundations.

But you shall be desolate forever, says the Lord. [Jeremiah 50:26 Come against her from the [furthest] border & open her storehouses. Cast her up [like ruinous] heaps & [totally] destroy her. Let nothing of her be left.]

[Put] your [banner] in the land & blow the trumpet among the nations. Appoint a captain & prepare the nations against her & call together the kingdoms of: Ararat; Minni; & Ashchenaz against her. Cause [many] horses to come up, [like] the rough caterpillars.

Prepare against her the nations the Medes' kings & [its:] captains, rulers & all the land of his [kingdom.] And the land shall tremble [with] sorrow. For every [plan] of the Lord, to make the land of Babylon [desolate,] without inhabitants, shall be [accomplished] against Babylon.

The mighty men of Babylon have [refrained from fighting.] They have remained in their [strongholds.] Their [strength] has failed & they [have become like] women. They have burned [Babylon's] dwelling places & her [gates'] bars are broken.

[Lamentations 2:9 Her gates are sunk into the ground. He has destroyed & broken her bars & her king & her princes are among the Gentiles. The Law is no [longer] [used] & also, her prophets find no vision from the Lord.]

One [postman] shall run to meet another & one messenger to meet another, to [declare] to [Babylon's] king, that his city is [captured on all sides] & the [passageways] are [blocked.] They have burned the reeds with fire & the men of war are [frightened.]

For the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this;] The daughter of Babylon is like a [floor for threshing.] It is time to thresh her. [Still,] a little while & the time of her harvest shall come.

Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, has devoured me, crushed me & has made me an empty vessel & he, like a dragon, has swallowed me up. He has filled his [stomach] with my [delicacies,] & he has [thrown] me [up.]

The [residents] of Zion shall say, The violence done to me & my flesh shall be upon Babylon. Jerusalem shall say, My blood [shed] shall be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea. Therefore, the Lord says [this; Watch,] I will plead your [case] & take vengeance for you.

And I will dry up her sea & make her springs dry. And Babylon shall become [ruinous] heaps, a dwelling place for [jackals], an astonishment & [hissed at,] without an inhabitant.

They shall roar together like lions. They shall [growl like] lions' [cubs.] The Lord says, In their [fury,] I will make their feasts & I will make them [drunk, so] that they may rejoice & sleep a [continual] sleep & not wake [up.]

I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with [male] goats. How Sheshack is [captured!] How surprised, the praise of the whole earth is! How Babylon [has] become an astonishment among the nations! [Isaiah 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of the kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' [excellence,] shall be [like] when God overthrew Sodom & Gomorrah.]

The sea [has] come up upon Babylon & she is covered with [a] multitude of [its] waves. Her cities are [desolate,] a dry wilderness & a land [in which] no man dwells, & neither does any son of man pass by [there.]

And I will punish Bel in Babylon & I will bring out of his mouth, [what] he has swallowed up. And the nations shall not flow together to him anymore. [Yes,] the Wall of Babylon shall fall.

[Jeremiah 50:2 [Put] up a [banner] & you, declare & [proclaim] among the nations & [don't] conceal [it.] Say, Babylon is [captured] & Bel is [confused,] Merodach is broken in pieces. Her idols are [perplexed] & her images are broken in pieces.]

You, My people, go out of the midst of her & every man deliver his soul from the fierce anger of the Lord. [Revelation 18:4-5 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, [so] that you [aren't participants] of her sins & [so] that you [don't] receive her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven & God has remembered her iniquities.]

A rumor shall come both one year & in another year & violence in the land, ruler against ruler. [Go out,] lest your heart [faints] & [you're fearful, because of] the rumor that shall be heard in the land.

Therefore, [watch] the days come, that I will [carry out] judgment upon the [carved] images of Babylon & her whole land shall be [ashamed.] And all her [killed] shall fall in the midst of her. Then, heaven & earth & all that's [in it,] shall sing for Babylon. For the [those who plunder,] shall come to her from the North, says the Lord.

[Like] Babylon has caused the [killed] of Israel to fall, so [shall the dead] of all the earth fall on Babylon. [Revelation 18:20-21 Rejoice over her, you heaven & you holy apostles & prophets. For God has avenged you on her. And a mighty Angel [picked] up a stone like a [large] millstone & [threw] it into the sea, saying, That great city, Babylon, shall be thrown down & shall no [longer] be found at all.]

You, [who] have escaped the sword, go away & [don't] stand still. Remember the Lord [from a far distance] & let Jerusalem come to mind. [Jeremiah 44:28 Yet a small number, [who shall] escape the sword, shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah. And all [Judah's remaining, who have] gone into the land of Egypt to [stay] there, shall know Whose words shall stand, Mine, or theirs.]

We are [confused,] because we have heard [criticism.] Shame has covered our faces: [because] strangers [have] come into the sanctuaries of the Lord's house. The Lord says, [For this reason, look,] the days come that I will [bring] judgment upon her [carved] images & the wounded shall groan through all her land.

[Even] though Babylon should [rise] up to heaven & [even] though she should [strengthen] her [high towers & walls] of her strength, [still plunderers] shall come from Me to her, says the Lord. [Amos 9:2-4 [Although] they dig into hell, My hand shall take them [from] there.

[Although] they climb up to heaven, I will bring them down [from] there. And though they hide themselves [on] the top of Carmel, I will search & take them out [of there.]

And though they are [hidden] from My sight in the bottom of the sea, I will command a serpent [there] & he will bite them. And though they go into captivity, [in front of] their enemies, I will command the sword [there] & it will slay them. And I will [focus] My eyes upon them for [harm] & not for good.]

A sound of [an outcry] comes from Babylon & [the sound] of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans; because the Lord has [plundered] Babylon & [silenced] her great voice. [When, a [sound] of their voice is uttered, her waves roar like great waters.

Because the spoiler [has] come upon her, even upon Babylon & her mighty men are [captured.] Everyone of their bows [are] broken; for the Lord God of [Repayment,] shall surely [repay.] [Revelation 18:6-8 Reward her even [like] she rewarded you & double to her, double according to her [deeds] & in the cup, which she has filled, fill double to her.

How much she [has] glorified herself & lived deliciously, so give her much torment & sorrow; for she says in her heart, I, a queen, sit & I'm no widow & shall see no sorrow. Therefore, her plagues shall come [on] one day: death; mourning & famine. And she, [a.k.a. Babylon,] shall be [totally burned with fire. For the Lord God, Who judges her is strong.]

And I will make her: princes; wise men, captains, rulers & mighty men drunk. And they shall sleep a [continual] sleep & not wake [up,] says the King, Whose Name is the Lord of Hosts.

The Lord of Hosts says [this;] [Babylon's wide] walls shall be [totally] broken & her high gates burned with fire. And the people & the folk, [a.k.a. relatives,] shall [work] in vain & they shall be [tired, because] of the fire.

The [Lord's] Word [that] Jeremiah, the prophet, commanded Seraiah, [Neriah's] son, [who was] the son of Maaseaih, when [Seriah' went with Zedekiah, [Judah's] king, to Babylon [during] the 4th year, [Zedekiah ruled.] And Seraiah was a [peaceful] prince.

So, Jeremiah wrote all the evil that shall [happen to] Babylon, in a book. All these Words are even written against Babylon. [Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the Lord answered me & said, Write the vision & make it plain upon [tablets, a.k.a. scroll, book,] that he, [who] reads it may flee.

For the vision is [still] for an appointed time, but at the end, [the tablet,] shall speak & not lie, though it [delays,] wait for it; because it will surely [happen] & it won't [linger.]

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon & shall see [it.] read all these Words. Then, you shall say, O Lord, You have spoken against this place, to cut it off, [so] that none shall remain in it, neither man, nor [animal,] but it shall be desolate forever.

And it shall be, when you have [finished] reading this book, that you shall [tie] a [rock] to it & [throw] it into the [middle] of the Euphrates [River.] [Jeremiah 19:11 And you shall say to them, The Lord of Hosts says [this;] Even so, I will break this people & this city, [like someone] breaks a potter's [clay] vessel, that can't be made whole again. And they shall bury them in Tophet, [until there's] no place [left] to bury.]

And you shall say, [Like this,] [book thrown into the river,] Babylon shall sink & shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her. And they shall be [tired.] The Words of Jeremiah, thus far.
