About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Lamentations 3:1-66 Jeremiah is the Man Who Has Seen Affliction

Jeremiah is the Man Who Has Seen Affliction

Lamentations 3:1-66             The Book of Lamentations [in Smaller Chunks]

I am the man [who] has seen affliction by the rod of His wrath. He has led me & brought me into darkness, but not into light. Surely, He [has] turned against me. He turned His hand against me all day. He [has] made my flesh & skin old & He has broken my bones.

[Psalm 51:8-10 Make me hear joy & gladness, [so] that the bones [that] You have broken may rejoice. Hide my sins from Your face & blot out my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God & renew a right spirit within me.]

He has [built] against me & [surrounded] me with [bitterness & hardship.] He has [put] me in dark places, [like those who are] dead [of ancient times.] [Job 33:21-22 His flesh [wastes] away, [to the point] that it can't be seen & his bones [inside] that weren't seen, stick out. [Yes,] his [life] draws near to the grave & his life to destroyers.]

He has [put a hedge around] me, [so] that I can't get out & He has made my chain heavy. [Job 3:23 Why is light given to a man whose [path] is [hidden] & whom God has hedged in?]

Also, when I cry [out] & shout, He shuts out my prayer. He has [enclosed] my [roads] with [cut] stone & He makes my paths crooked. To me, He was [like] a bear lying in wait [to ambush,] & [like] a lion in secret places. He has turned [me away from] my [roads] & pulled me in pieces & He has made me desolate.

[Deuteronomy 32:37-39 And He shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, [that] ate the fat of their sacrifices & drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up & help you & be your protection. [Don't you] see, that I, even I, Am He, & there is no god with Me. I kill & I make alive. I wound & I heal. Neither is there any, [who] can deliver out of My hand.]

He has bent His bow & [put] me as a [target] for the arrow. He has [made] the arrows of His quiver to enter into my [heart strings.] [Job 16:13 His archers [surround around] me & He [cuts] my [heart strings in pieces] & doesn't spare. He pours out my [bile] upon the ground.]

I was a [mockery] to all my people & their song [for taunting] all the day. [Jeremiah 20:7 O Lord, You have [influenced] me & I was [persuaded.] You are stronger than I & have prevailed. I am [ridiculed] daily & everyone mocks me.]

He has filled me with bitterness & He has made me drunk with wormwood. [Jeremiah 9:13-15 And the Lord [said,] [It's] because they have [abandoned] My Law, which I [put] before them, & haven't obeyed My voice & neither [followed in these;]

But have [followed] after the imagination of their own heart, after Baalim, [a.k.a. Baal,] which their [forefathers] taught them. Therefore, the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this; Look,] I will feed them, even this people with wormwood & give them [bitter] water of gall to drink.]

He has also broken my teeth with gravel & He has covered me with ashes. [Job 42:6 [For this reason,] I [loathe] myself & repent in dust & ashes.]

And You have removed my [life] far [away] from peace & [I've forgotten] prosperity. And remembering [my] affliction & misery, the wormwood & the gall, I said, My strength & my hope from the Lord [has] perished.

In still [remembering] them, my [life] is humbled [within] me. I recall this to mind, therefore I have hope. [Psalm 130:7-8 Let Israel hope in the Lord. For with the Lord, there is mercy & with Him redemption is [plentiful.] And He shall redeem Israel from all [their sins.]

It is [because] of the Lord's mercies, that we aren't [destroyed, since] His compassion [doesn't] fail. They are [renewed] every morning & great is Your faithfulness. My soul says, The Lord is my portion. Therefore, I will hope in Him.

[Psalm 16:5-6 The Lord is the portion of [my] inheritance & my cup. You [uphold] my lot. The [measuring] lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. [Yes,] I have a [large inheritance.]

The Lord is good to [those who] wait for Him & to the soul, [who] seeks Him. [Isaiah 30:18 And therefore, the Lord will wait, [so] that He may be gracious to you. Therefore, He will be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you. For the Lord is a God of [justice] & blessed are all [those who] wait for Him.]

It is good that a man should both hope & quietly wait for the Salvation of the Lord. [Revelation 3:19-21 As many as I love, I [reprimand & chastise.] Therefore, be zealous & repent. [Look,] I stand at the door & knock. If any man [hears] My voice & [opens] the door, I will come in to him & will [dine] with him & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who] overcomes, to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne.

It's good for a man, that he [endures] the yoke in his youth. [Let him] sit alone & keep [silent,] because He has [put] it upon him [to carry.] [Jeremiah 15:17 I [didn't sit] in the assembly of mockers, nor [did I] [rejoice.] I sat alone, because of Your hand. For You have filled me with indignation [for injustice.

He puts his mouth in the [dirt; in case there's] hope. [1 Corinthians 14:25 And [these] are the secrets of his heart made [visible.] And so, falling down on his face, he will worship God & report that God is [truly within] you.]

He gives His cheek to him, [who strikes] Him. He is filled full of [disgrace.] [Luke 22:63-65 And the men, [who] held Jesus mocked Him & [struck] Him. And when they had blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face & asked Him, saying, Prophesy, who it is that [struck] You? And they [spoke] many other [blasphemous] things against Him.]

For the Lord will not [ignore] forever. But [although] He [causes] grief, [still] He will have compassion, according to the multitude of His mercies. [Isaiah 54:7-8 For a small moment I have [abandoned] you. But with great mercies I will gather you. In a little wrath, I hid My face from you for a moment, but I will have mercy on you with everlasting kindness, says the Lord your Redeemer.]

For He [doesn't] afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men. [Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, The Lord God says, As I live, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked [returns] from his [ways] & [lives.] Turn you & [return] from your evil ways. For why will you die, O house of Israel?]

The Lord [doesn't] approve [of those who:] crush all the prisoners of the earth under his feet; [or] turns aside the [rights] of a man, before the face of the Most High; [or] [brings about the downfall of] a man in his cause. [Isaiah 11:1-4 *And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse & a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

*And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him: the Spirit of wisdom & understanding; the Spirit of counsel & [strength;] the Spirit of knowledge and of fear, [respect] of the Lord. And shall make Him of [speedy] understanding of the fear [respect] of the Lord.

And He shall not judge, [according to what] His eyes [see,] neither [chastise according to what] His ears [hear.] But He shall judge the poor with righteousness & [reprimand] the meek of the earth, with equity. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth & He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.]

When the Lord [hasn't] commanded it, who is he, who says & it [happens?] [Psalm 33:9-11 For He spoke & it was done. He commanded & it stood [firm.] The Lord brings the [advice] of the heathen to [nothing.] He makes the [plots] of the people [ineffective.] The [Lord's] counsel stands forever & the thoughts of His heart [stand] to all generations.]

[Doesn't] both [bad] & [good] proceed out of the mouth of the Most High? [Job 2:10 But [Job] said to her, You speak [like] one of the foolish women speak. What? Shall we [only] receive good at the hand of God & we shall not receive [the bad?] In all this, Job didn't sin with his lips.]

[Why] does a man [who lives,] complain, [or] a man [complain] for the punishment of his sins? [Jeremiah 30:15 Why [do] you cry [out, because] of your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable, [because of] the multitude of your iniquity. I have done these things to you, because your sins were increased.]

Let's search & [test] our [paths] & [return] again to the Lord. [Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return & come to Zion with songs & everlasting joy [in] their heads. They shall obtain joy & gladness, and sorrow & sighing shall flee away.]

Let us lift up our hands with our [hearts] to God in the heavens. We have [sinned] & rebelled. You haven't pardoned.

[Judges 2:12-13 And they [abandoned] the God of their [forefathers, Who] brought them out of the land of Egypt & [they] followed other gods, of the gods of the people, [who] were [all around] them. And bowed themselves to them & provoked the Lord to anger. And they [abandoned] the Lord & served Baal & Ashtaroth.]

You have persecuted & covered us with anger. You have slain & haven't pitied. [2 Kings 21:4-7 And he built altars in the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem, I will put My Name. And he built altars in the 2 [courts] of the [Lord's] house for all the host of heaven, [a.k.a. stars & constellations.]

And he made his son pass through the fire & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology & horoscopes;] used enchantments & dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. talking with the dead;] & wizards. He [brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord to provoke Him to anger.

And he [put from] the grove, a [carved] image that he had made, in the [Lord's] house, which the Lord said to David & to Solomon, his son, I will put My Name in this house & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, forever.]

You have covered Yourself with a cloud, [so] that our prayers [couldn't] pass through [it.] You have made us [like] the [repulsive & unwanted] in the midst of the people. [1 Corinthians 4:13 Being [insulted,] we [encourage.] We are made [like] the filth of the world and are [repulsive] to this day.]

All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. Fear, a [trap,] desolation & destruction [have] come upon us. [Isaiah 47:11-13 Therefore, evil, [trouble] & desolation shall come upon you suddenly, [that] you [don't] know [about.] You shall not know from [where] it rises & shall not be able to put it off.

Stand now with your enchantments & the multitude of your sorceries, [in which] you have labored from your youth. If you are able to [benefit,] you may prevail. You are wearied [with] the multitude of your counsels.

Now, let the astrologers, the stargazers & monthly prognosticators, [a.k.a. foretellers of the future,] stand up, & save you from these things that shall [happen to] you.]

[My] eye runs down with rivers of water for the destruction of my people. [My] eye trickles down, without a [pause] & [doesn't stop, until] the Lord [looks] down & [sees] from heaven. [Jeremiah 14:16-18 And the people to whom they prophesy, shall be [thrown] out into the streets of Jerusalem, because of the famine & the sword.

And they shall have [no one] to bury them, their wives, their sons, nor their daughters. For I will pour [out] their wickedness upon them. Therefore, you shall say this Word to them: Let [My] eyes run down with tears night & day & [don't] let them [stop.]

For the virgin daughter of My people is broken with a [large gap, by] a very grievous blow. If I go [out] into the field, then [I] [saw] the slain [by] the sword! And if I enter into the city, then [I] [saw those who are] sick, [because of] the famine! [Yes,] both the prophet & the priests go [around] into a land that they don't know.]

[My] eye [saddens my] heart, because of all the daughters of my city. My enemies chased me without a [reason, fiercely] like a bird. They have cut my life off in the dungeon & [threw] a [rock] upon me.

[Jeremiah 38:6 Then, they took Jeremiah & [threw] him into the dungeon of Malchiah, [Hammelech's] son, that was in the [courtyard] of the prison. And they let Jeremiah down with cords, [a.k.a. ropes.] And there was no water in the dungeon, but [only mud.] So, Jeremiah sunk in the [mud.]

Waters flowed over [my] head. Then, I said, I am cut off. Out of the [lowly] dungeon, I called upon Your Name, O Lord. You have heard my voice. [Don't] hide Your ear [from] my breathing & my [outcry.] You drew [close on] the day that I called upon You & You said, [Don't] fear.

O Lord, You have pleaded the cause of my soul & You have redeemed my life. [Psalm 35:1-2 O Lord, plead my cause with [those who fight] with me. Fight against [those who] fight against me. Take hold of the shield & [the small shield] & stand up for my help.]

O Lord, you have seen my [wrongs.] [Lord,] judge my cause. You have seen all their vengeance & all their [schemes] against me. O Lord, You have heard their [ridicule] & all their [plots] against me & the lips of those, [who] rose up against me & their [plans] against me all day.

[See,] I am their [song for taunting, when they sit] down & [rise] up. O Lord, give [repayment] to them, according to the work of their hands. [Revelation 22:12-13 And, [watch,] I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [to] his [deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.]

Give them [sorrowful hearts,] [as] Your curse to them. From under the heavens of the Lord, persecute & destroy them in anger. [Psalm 145:20 The Lord preserves all [those who] love Him: but He will destroy all the wicked.]
