About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Ezekiel Sees the Man Who Looks Like Brass with a Measuring Reed

Ezekiel 40:1-49             The Book of Ezekiel [in Smaller Chunks]

[During] the 25th year of our captivity, 14 [years] after the city was [struck,] in the beginning of the year, [on] the 10th day, & the hand of the Lord was upon me [on] that [same] day & brought me [there.]

In the visions of God, He brought me into the land of Israel & [put] me upon a very high mountain, [in] which, [on] the South, was [what looked like] the [shape] of a city.

[Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great & high mountain & [showed] me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven, from God.]

He brought me [there] & [I] [saw,] a man was [there,] whose appearance was like brass, with a flax [measuring] line in his hand & a [measuring] reed & he stood in the gate.

And the man said to me, Son of man, [look] with your eyes; hear with your ears; & [focus] your heart on all that I shall [show] you. You [were] brought [here in order,] that I might [show] them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.

And [I] [saw] a wall [all around] on the outside of the [Lord's] house, [a.k.a. temple.] And in the man's hand [was] a 6 [cubit] long measuring reed, [according to] the cubit [plus] a [hand's width.]

So, he measured the [width] of the building, 1 reed & the height, 1 reed. Then, he came to the gate which [faces] East & went up [its] stairs & measured the [gate's] threshold, which was 1 reed [wide.] And the other [gate's] threshold was 1 reed [wide.]

Every little [room, a.k.a. gate room, guard room & guard alcove,] was 1 reed long & 1 reed [wide.] And [there were] 5 cubits between the little rooms. And the gate's threshold, [a.k.a. gateway,] by the porch, [a.k.a. vestibule & portico, covered porch.] of the gate, [inside] was 1 reed.

He also measured the porch [inside] of the gate, [it was,] 1 reed. Then, he measured the [gate's] porch, [a.k.a. vestibule's gateway,] [which was] 8 cubits & [its] posts, [a.k.a. side pillars,] were 2 cubits [by 2 cubits.]

And the [gate's] porch was [inside.] And the [gate's] little rooms, [a.k.a. guard rooms, faced] Eastward, 3 on this side & 3 on that side. [All] 3 [had] the [same measurement] on [both sides.] And the posts had the [same measurement] on [both sides.]

And he measured the [width] of the [gate's entrance,] [which was] 10 cubits & the length of the gate, [was] 13 cubits. Also the space [in front of] the [gate's] little [rooms] was 1 cubit on this side & 1 cubit on that side [of a fence or barrier.] And the little [gate's] little [rooms] were 6 cubits [by] 6 cubits.

Then, he measured the gate from the roof of one [of the gate's] little [rooms] to the roof of another. The [width] was 25 cubits [from 1] door [to the opposite] door.

He also [measured the gate's posts, a.k.a. pillars,] 60 cubits, even [from] the [courtyard post all around the gateway.] And from the [front] of the [gate's entrance] to the [front] of the porch, [a.k.a. vestibule] of the inner gate, [was] 50 cubits.

And there were narrow windows [all around, facing inwards into] the little [gate rooms] & to their posts [inside & all around] the gate & [also for] the arches, [a.k.a. porches & vestibules.] And palm tree [decorations were] upon each [gate] post.

Then, he brought me into the [outer] court & [saw,] there were 30 [rooms facing] the pavement made for [all around] the court. By the side of the gates, the pavement [corresponding to] the length of the gates, was lower pavement [than the other.]

Then, he measured the [width] from the [front] of the lower gate to the front of the inner court [exterior,] 100 cubits [toward the] East & [toward the] North. And he measured the length & [width of] the gate [for] the [outer court facing] North.

And the 3 little [gate rooms] on this side & 3 on that side, & [its] posts & [porches] were the [same measurement as] the 1st gate. [Its] length was 50 cubits & [its width] 25 cubits.

And their windows, [porches,] & palm tree [decorations] were [the same measurement as] the gate [facing] East. And they went up to it [using] 7 steps & [its porches were in front of] them.

And the inner [court's] gate was [opposite to] the gate [facing] North & the [gate facing] East. And he measured 100 cubits from gate to gate. After that, he brought me toward the South & [I] [saw] a gate [facing] South.

And he measured [its] posts & [its porches] & [they were the same,] according to these [measurements.] And there were windows in [the gate & its porches all around] like those [other] windows. The length was 50 cubits & the [width] 25 cubits.

And there were 7 steps [going] up to it & [its porches] were [in front of] them. And it had palm [tree] [decorations] on [both sides] of [its] posts. And there was a gate in the inner court [facing] South & he measured from gate to gate toward the South [& it was] 100 cubits.

And he brought me to the inner court [through] the South gate. And he measured the South gate [& they were the same,] according to these [measurements.] And [its] little [gate rooms, & its] posts & [porches, were] according to these [same measurements.]

And there were windows in it & in [its porches, all around.] It was 50 cubits long & 25 cubits [wide.] And the arches, [a.k.a. porches, all around,] were 50 cubits long & 25 cubits [wide.] And [its porches faced] the [outer] court & [the] palm tree [decorations] were upon [its] posts & it had 8 steps going up to it.

And he brought me into the inner court [facing] East & he measured the gate, according to these [same measurements.] And [its] little [gate rooms; its] posts & [its porches,] were according to these [same measurements.]

And there were windows [in the little gate rooms] & in [its porches all around] & it was 50 cubits long & 25 cubits [wide.] And [its porches faced] the [outer] court & [the] palm tree [decorations] were upon [its] posts on [both sides.] And it had 8 steps going up to it.

And he brought me to the North Gate & measured it according to these [same measurements.] The length of [its:] little [gate rooms;] posts; [porches;] & windows [around it, were] 50 cubits & [its width was] 25 cubits.

And [its] posts [faced] the [outer] court & palm tree [decorations] were upon [both sides of] the posts. It had 8 steps going up to it. And the [rooms & their entrances] were by the [gate's] posts, where they washed the burnt offering.

And there were 2 tables on this side & 2 tables on that side of the [gate's] porch, [to slaughter] the [animals for the:] burnt offering; sin offering; & the trespass offering.

And on the [outer] side, [going] up to the North [Gate's entrance, there] were 2 tables & 2 tables on the other side of the [gate's] porch. By the [gate's entrance,] 4 tables were on this side [of it] & 4 tables were on that side. [There were] 8 tables [upon which] they [slaughtered] their sacrifices.

And the 4 tables of [cut] stone for the burnt offering, upon [which] they laid the [tools used to slaughter] the burnt offering & the sacrifices, [which] were 1 1/2 cubits long, [by] 1 1/2 cubits [wide] & 1 1/2 cubits high.

And [inside] were [hand's width] [meat] hooks fastened [to the walls] [all around.] The [meat for] the offering was upon the tables. And [outside] the inner gate, were the [rooms for] the singers in the inner court. [This] was [on] the side of the North Gate & they [faced] the South.

One [was] [on] the side of the [South] Gate, [facing] North. And he said to me, This [room facing] South, is for the priests, [who are in] charge of the [Lord's] house.

And the [room facing] North is for the priests, [who are in] charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, [from] the sons of Levi, [who] come near the Lord to minister to Him.

So, he measured the square court: 100 cubits long [by] 100 cubits [wide.] And the altar was [in front of] the [Lord's] house. And he brought me to the porch of the [Lord's] house & measured each post of the porch: 5 cubits on this side & 5 cubits on that side.

And the [width] of the gate was 3 cubits on this side & 3 cubits on that side. The length of the porch was 20 cubits & the [width] 11 cubits. And he brought me by the steps, [by which] they went up to it. And there were pillars by the [door] posts, one of this side & another on that side.
