About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Hosea 12:1-14 Jacob Has Been Strong Since Birth

Jacob Has Been Strong Since Birth

Hosea 12:1-14               The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks]

Ephraim feeds on wind, & follows after the East wind. [Job 15:2-3 Should a wise man utter vain, [a.k.a. worthless,] knowledge, & fill his [stomach] with the East wind? Should he reason with [unproductive] talk? Or with speeches, [in which] he can't do [any] good?]

He increases [his] lies & desolation daily. And they make a covenant [contract] with the Assyrians, & oil is carried into Egypt. [2 Kings 17:3-4 Shalmaneser, [Assyria's] king, came up against [Ahaz,] & Hoshea, [a.k.a. Hosea,] became [the] servant [of Assyria's king,] & gave him presents.

And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in [Hosea:] for [Hosea] had sent messengers to So, [Egypt's] king, & [didn't bring any] present to [Assyria's] king, [like] he had done year by year. Therefore, [Assyria's] king shut [Hosea] up, & [chained] him in prison.]

The Lord also had a [dispute] with Judah, & will punish Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] according to his ways. He will [repay] him according to his [actions.] [Jacob] took his brother, [a.k.a. Esau,] by the heel in the womb, & by his strength, he [struggled] with God.

[Genesis 32:27-28 And He said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob. And He said, Your name shall no [longer] be called Jacob, but Israel, [a.k.a. Prince with God,] for [like] a prince, you [have] power with God & with men, & [have] prevailed.]

[Yes,] he had power over the Angel & prevailed. [Jacob] wept, & made [requests] to Him & he found Him in Beth El, [a.k.a. Beth Aven,] & He spoke with us here. [Genesis 28:15-19 And, [see.] I Am with you, & will keep you in all places [where] you [go,] & will bring you again into this land.

For I will not leave you, until I have done, [what] I have spoken to you. And Jacob [awoke] from his sleep, & he said, Surely, the Lord is in this place, & I [didn't know] it. And he was afraid, & said, How dreadful this place is! This is none other, [than] the house of God, & this is the gate of heaven.

And Jacob rose up early in the morning & took the stone that he had put for his pillows & set it up for a pillar, & poured oil upon it. And he called the name of that place Beth El, [a.k.a. House of God, or: Beth Aven,] but at the [beginning,] the name of that city was called Luz.]

The Lord is his memorial, even the Lord God of Hosts. Therefore, you, [return] to your God & keep mercy & [justice,] & wait on your God continually. [Canaan] is a merchant, [a.k.a. business man,] & the [deceitful] balances, [a.k.a.] scales are in his hand & he loves to [take advantage of] [others.]

[Amos 8:4-6 O you, [who] swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, hear this. Saying, May we sell [grain] when the New Moon [is over?]

And [when] the Sabbath [is over,] May we put [out] wheat & [make] the ephah [measurement] [smaller] & the shekel [charged] [larger,] & [falsify] the balances by deceit? [So,] that we may buy the poor for silver & the needy for a pair of shoes. [Yes,] & sell the [inferior] wheat?]

And Ephraim said, [Still] I [have] become rich, & I have found [possessions] [for] [myself.] They shall find [no sin within] me, in all my labors, that were [sinful.] And I, [Who] Am the Lord your God, [since] the land of Egypt, I will [still] make you dwell in the [tents], [like during] the days of the solemn feast.

I have also spoken, [through] the prophets, [to warn,] & I have multiplied visions & used the ministry of the prophets, [similarly] [on My behalf.] Is there [sinfulness] in Gilead? Surely, they are [what is:] vanity. They sacrifice [bulls] in Gilgal. [Yes,] their altars are [like] heaps in the [rows] of the fields.

[Jeremiah 11:11-15 Therefore, the Lord says [this, Look,] I will bring [calamity] upon them, [that] they shall not be able to escape. And [although] they shall cry [out] to Me, I won't [pay attention] to them.

Then, the cities of Judah & the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall go & cry [out] to the gods, to whom they offer incense, but they shall not save that at all in their time of trouble.

O Judah, your gods were according to the number of your cities. And Jerusalem, you have set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal, according to the number of the streets.]

And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, & Israel served for a wife & he kept sheep for a wife. [Genesis 30:26-30 And Laban said, It must not be done [like this] in our country, to give the younger [as wife] before the firstborn.

Fulfill her week, & we will give you this also for the service which you shall serve [for] me, [still] 7 other years. And Jacob did so, & fulfilled [Leah's] week & [Laban] gave him Rachel, his daughter, to also [marry.]

Bilhah, his handmaid, [was] to be her maid. And [Jacob was intimate with] Rachel, & he also loved Rachel more than Leah, & served with [Laban still] 7 more years.]

And [through] a prophet, the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, & he was preserved by a prophet. [Exodus 14:29-31 But the children [people] of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the [Red] Sea, & the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, [a.k.a. side] & on their left.

[Like this,] the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; & Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore. And Israel saw that [immense] work, [a.k.a. miracles, that] the Lord did upon the Egyptians, & the people feared [respected] the Lord, & believed the Lord, & His servant, Moses.]

Ephraim provoked Him to [very bitter] anger. Therefore, He shall leave his [bloodshed] upon him & his Lord shall return his [repayment] to him. [Ezekiel 23:37-39 They have committed adultery & blood is [on] their hands. And they have committed adultery with their idols.

And have also caused their sons, whom they [bore] to me, to pass through the fire, to devour them, for [idols.] [Additionally,] they have done this to Me. They have defiled My sanctuary [on] the same day & profaned My Sabbaths.

For when they had [sacrificed] their children to their idols, they came the same day into My sanctuary to profane it. And, [look,] they have done [this] in the midst of My house.]
