Israel Returns to the Lord Their God |
Hosea 14:1-9 The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks] |
O Israel, return to the Lord your God; for you [have] fallen, [because of] your [sinfulness.] [Return] to the Lord & take with you: words & say to Him, Take away all [our] [sinfulness,] & receive us graciously. So, we will [give] our lips [like the sacrifices] of calves. |
Asshur, [a.k.a. Assyria,] shall not save us & we won't ride upon horses. Neither will we any [longer] say to the [works] [made] [by] our hands, You are our gods: for the fatherless find mercy in you. |
[Psalm 106:34-39 They didn't destroy the nations, [about] whom the Lord commanded them: but were [mixed] among the heathen, & learned their works. And they served their idols; which were a snare to them. [Yes,] they sacrificed their sons & daughters to [demons.] |
And shed [the] blood [of the] innocent, even the blood of their sons & daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was [defiled] with [bloodshed.] [Like this,] they were defiled with their own works, & went [like unfaithful harlots] with their own inventions.] |
I will heal their backsliding & I will freely love them. For [My] anger [has] turned away from [them.] I will be to Israel [like] the dew & he shall grow [like] the lily, & [thrust out] his roots [like] Lebanon. |
[Ephesians 3:16-17 That He would grant you, according to the [richness] of His glory, & to be strengthened with might, by His Spirit, [within] man, [so] that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith, [so] that you, [are] rooted & grounded in love.] |
His branches shall spread & his beauty shall be [like] an olive tree, & his [aroma like] Lebanon. [Isaiah 11:1-4 *And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, & a Branch shall grow out of his roots. *And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. |
The Spirit of wisdom & understanding, the Spirit of [advice] & [strength,] & the Spirit of knowledge & of the fear [respect] of the Lord. And shall make Him of [immediate] understanding in the fear [respect] of the Lord. |
And He shall not judge [according to] the sight of His eyes, & neither [reprimand, according to what] His ears [hear.] But He shall judge the poor with righteousness, & [repay] the meek with equity. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth, & He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.] |
[Those who] dwell under His [shade] shall return & they shall [be] [revived like] the [watered] corn & grow [like] the vine. [John 15:1-2 I Am the True Vine, & My Father is the [Vineyard Keeper.] He takes away every branch in Me that [doesn't produce] fruit. And every branch that [produces] fruit, He [prunes] it, [so] that it may [produce] more fruit.] |
The scent [of it] shall be [like] the wine in Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, What [do] I have to do with idols anymore? I have heard him & [watched] him. I Am like a green fir tree. Your fruit from Me is found. |
[Whoever] is wise, shall he understand [all] these things? [Whoever is] prudent, [a.k.a. cautious,] shall he know them? For the ways of the Lord are [righteous] & the just shall [follow] in them. But the [sinners] shall fall [by them.] |
[Revelation 22:12-15 *And, [watch,] I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [like] his [deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. |
Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are: dogs; [sexual traffickers;] murderers; idolaters; & [whoever] loves & makes [up lies.] |
