About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Mark 4:1-41 Jesus Calms the Storms & the Sea

Jesus Calms the Storms & the Sea

Mark 4:1-41          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

And [Jesus] began to teach again by the seaside. And a [large] multitude was gathered there to Him, so that He entered into a ship in the sea, & sat. And the whole multitude was on the land by the sea. And [Jesus] taught them many things by parables.

And in His doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching,] He said to them, [Listen. See] a sower went out there to sow [seed.] Some fell by the [road] side, & the [birds] of the air came & devoured it. And some fell on stony ground, where it didn't have much [soil,] & immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of [soil.]

But when the sun was up, it was scorched, & because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns. And the thorns grew up, & choked it, & it [produced] no fruit. And other [seed] fell on good ground, & [produced] fruit that sprang up & increased. And some brought forth 30, some 60, & some 100.

And [Jesus] said to them, He, [who] has ears to hear, let him hear. And when [Jesus] was alone, [those, who] were [around] Him with the 12, asked Him [about] the parable.

And [Jesus] said to them, It is given to you to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but to [those, who] are without [faith,] all these things are done in parables.

*[So] that seeing, they may see, & not [recognize;] & hearing, they may hear, & not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, & their sins should be forgiven them. [Isaiah 6:8-10 Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, & who will go for us? Then, I said, Here I am; send me.

*And [God] said, Go, & tell this people, You indeed hear, but [don't] understand. And you indeed see, but [don't recognize.] *Make the heart of this people fat, [a.k.a. thick, or lazy,] & make their ears heavy, & shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, & hear with their ears, & understand with their heart, & convert, & be healed.]

And [Jesus] said to them, [Don't] you know, [a.k.a. understand] this parable? Then, how will you [understand] all parables? The sower sows the Word. And these are [those,] by the [road] side, where the Word is sown. But when they have heard [the Word,] Satan comes immediately, & takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts.

And [also] these [are those,] which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the Word, receive it immediately with gladness. And have no root [within] themselves, & endure [like this, only] for a time. Afterward, when affliction or persecution arises, for the Word's sake, they are immediately offended.

And these, are [those] which are sown among thorns, such as [those, who] hear the Word, & the cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, & the lusts of other things [that enter] in, choke the Word, & it becomes [unproductive.]

And these are [those,] which are sown on good ground, such as [those, who] hear the Word & receive it, & [it] [produces] fruit, some 30-fold, some 60, & some 100. And [Jesus] said to them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, [a.k.a. basket,] or under a bed? And not to be [put] on a candlestick?

For there is nothing [hidden,] which shall not be [made apparent;] neither was anything kept secret, but that it should [eventually] come [everywhere.] If any man [has] ears to hear, let him hear.

And [Jesus] said to them, [Pay attention] [to] what you hear: & with what [measurement] [that] you [hand out,] it shall be measured to you. And to you, [who] hear, more shall be given. For he, [who has,] to him shall be given. And he, [who doesn't have,] even [what] he [has] shall be taken from him.

And [Jesus] said, [Also,] the Kingdom of God is, [like] if a man should [throw] seed into the ground; & should sleep, & rise night & day. And the seed should [sprout] & grow up, & he [doesn't] know how.

For the earth [produces] fruit [from] herself, 1st the blade, then the ear, after that, the full [sized] corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, [a.k.a. fully ripe,] he immediately [puts] a sickle in, because the harvest [has] come.

[Revelation 14:15-16 And another Angel came out of the temple, crying [out] with a loud voice to Him, [Who] sat on the cloud, Thrust in Your sickle, & reap. For the time [has] come for You to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And He, [Who] sat on the cloud, thrust in His sickle on the earth; & the earth was reaped.]

And [Jesus] said, [To what] shall we [say is similar to] the Kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, [that] when it is sown in the [ground,] is less, [a.k.a. smaller,] than all the seeds that [are] in the earth.

But when it is sown, it grows up, & becomes [larger] than all herbs, & [shoots] out [large] branches; so that the [birds] of the air may lodge under [its shade.] And [Jesus spoke] the Word to them, with many [similar] parables, as they were able to hear it. But He [didn't speak] to them without a parable. And when they were alone, [Jesus explained] all things to His disciples.

And the same day, when [evening had] come, [Jesus] said to them, Let's [cross] over to the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took [Jesus,] even [like] He was, [into] the ship. And also there with Him, were other little ships.

And a [large, windy] storm arose, & the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full [of water.] And [Jesus] was in the [back] part of the ship, asleep on a pillow, & they [awoke] Him. And [said] to Him, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher, don't] You care that we perish?

*And [Jesus] arose, & rebuked the wind, & said to the sea, Peace, be still. And there was a great calm. [Psalm 89:8-9 *O Lord God of Hosts, who is a strong Lord [similar] to You? Or [who is similar] to Your faithfulness [all around] You? You [rule] the raging sea: when [its] waves arise, You [still] them.]

And [Jesus] said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? And they exceedingly feared, [a.k.a. respected,] & said to one another, What [type] of Man is this, that even the wind & the sea obey Him?
