About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Mark 7:1-37 The Pharisees & Scribes Are Upset the Disciples Eat with Unwashed Hands

The Pharisees & Scribes Are Upset the Disciples Eat with Unwashed Hands

Mark 7:1-37          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, the Pharisees, & [some] of the scribes, [who] came from Jerusalem, came to [Jesus,] together. And they found fault, when they saw some of [Jesus'] disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, [unwashed] hands.

For the Pharisees. & all the Jews [don't] eat [unless] they wash their hands [often,] holding [to] the tradition of the elders. And when they come from the market, they [don't] eat, [unless] they wash. And there [are] many other things, which they have [agreed] to hold, [like:] the washing of cups, pots, [a.k.a. pitchers,] [brass] vessels, & tables.

Then, the Pharisees & scribes asked [Jesus,] Why [don'] Your disciples [follow] according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with [unwashed] hands? *[Jesus] answered & said to them, [Isaiah,] prophesied well [about] you hypocrites, [a.k.a. someone who says one thing, & does another.]

[Like] it is written, This people [honor] Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. [However,] in vain, they do worship Me, teaching [like] doctrines, the commandments [from] men.

[Isaiah 29:13 *[For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since] these people draw near Me with their mouth, & do honor Me with their lips, but [they] have removed their heart far from Me. And their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the precept, [a.k.a. commandment, from] men.]

For [setting] aside the [commandments from] God, you hold the [traditions from] men, [like] the washing of: pots, cups, & you do many other [similar] things.

*And [Jesus] said to them, [You know] full well, you reject the commandment [from] God, [so] that you may keep your own tradition. [Isaiah 24:5 *The earth is also defiled under [the control of] [its] inhabitants; because they have transgressed, [a.k.a. defied,] the Laws, & changed the [ordinances, a.k.a. rules,] & [have] broken the everlasting covenant.]

For Moses said, Honor your father & mother; and, [Whoever curses] [their] father or mother, let him die the death. But you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by [whatever] you might be [benefitted] by me, he shall be free.

And you [allow] him to no [longer] do [anything,] for his father or his mother; making the Word of God [ineffective] through your tradition, [that] you have [conveyed,] & you do many [similar] things.

And when [Jesus] had called all the people to Him, He said to them, Everyone of you, [pay attention] to Me, & understand. There is nothing from [the] [outside] [of] a man, that [something] entering into him can defile him: but the things [that] come out [from] him, are those that defile the man.

If any man [has] ears to hear, let him hear. And when [Jesus had] entered into the house, [away] from the people, His disciples asked him [about] the parable. And [Jesus] said to them, Are you also without understanding?

Don't you perceive, [a.k.a. recognize,] that [whatever] thing enters into the man from the outside, can't defile him, because it [doesn't enter] into his heart, but into the [stomach,] & goes out into the [waste, clearing out] all meats, [a.k.a. foods?]

And [Jesus] said, [What] defiles a man, [is] that which comes out of the man. [James 3:6 And the tongue [leads to] a fire, & a world of [sinfulness.] The tongue [does the same] among our [body's] members, [so] that it [defiles] the whole body, & [sets] on fire, [our sinful human] nature; & it is [focused] on [the] fires of hell.]

For from [inside] & out of the heart of men, [proceeds:] evil thoughts, [adultery, fornication, murder, theft, envy,] wickedness, deceit, [lust,] an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, & foolishness. All these evil things come from [inside,] & defile a man.

And [Jesus] arose & [left] from [there,] & went into the borders of Tyre, [a.k.a. Tyrus,] & Sidon, & entered into [a] house, & [didn't want any] man [to] know it. But [Jesus] couldn't be [hidden.]

For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, [a.k.a. a demon,] heard of [Jesus,] & came & fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, [a.k.a. Gentile,] a Syrophenician by [birth.] And she [begged Jesus] that He would cast [out] the [demon] out of her daughter.

But Jesus said to her, Let the children first be filled. For it isn't [good] to take the children's bread, & cast it to the dogs. And she answered & said to Him, Yes, Lord: [still] the dogs under the table, eat [from] the children's crumbs.

*And [Jesus] said to her, For this saying, go [on] your way, [because] the [demon has] gone out of your daughter. And when she [came] to her house, she found the [demon had] gone out, & her daughter laid upon the bed.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

And again, [leaving] from the coasts of Tyre & Sidon, [Jesus] came through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis, to the Sea of Galilee. And they [brought] to [Jesus, someone who] was deaf, & had an impediment in his speech. And they [begged] Him to put His hand upon him.

And [Jesus] took him aside, from the multitude, & put His fingers into his ears, & spit, & touched his tongue. *And looking up to heaven, [Jesus] sighed, & said to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And [immediately] his ears were opened, & the string of his tongue was [loosened,] & he [spoke clearly.]

[Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unclogged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a rabbit,] & the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And [Jesus commanded] them, that they should tell no man. But the more He [commanded] them, much more they [greatly proclaimed] it [widely.] And [they] were astonished beyond measure, saying, *[Jesus] has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear, & the [mute] to speak.

[Isaiah 29:18-19 *And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the Words of the Book, & the eyes of the blind shall see out of [cloudiness,] & out of darkness. The meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall also increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.]
