About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 17:1-37 Jesus Healed 10 Lepers, but Only 1 Came Back & Thanked Him

Jesus Healed 10 Lepers, but Only 1 Came Back & Thanked Him

Luke 17:1-37          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, [Jesus] said to the disciples, It is impossible [for] offences [not to] come. But woe, [a.k.a. distress,] to him, through whom they come! It were better for him, that a millstone were [hung around] his neck, & he [is] cast into the sea, than that he should offend [even] one of these little ones.

[You,] [pay attention,] to yourselves. If your brother [trespasses, a.k.a. sins,] against you, rebuke, [a.k.a. scold or reprimand,] him. And if he [repents,] forgive him. And if he [trespasses] against you 7 times in a day, & 7 times in a day [he] [returns] again to you, saying, I repent. You shall forgive him.

And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If you had faith [like] a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this [Sycamore] tree, You be plucked up by the root, & you be planted in the sea. And it should obey you.

But which of you, having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will [eventually] say to him, when he [comes] from the field, Go & sit down to [dinner?]  And won't [he] [instead,] say to him, Make ready [with what] I may [dine,] & [prepare] yourself, & serve me, [until] I have eaten & [drunk;] & afterward, you shall eat & drink?

[Does] he thank that servant, because he did the things that were commanded [to] him? I [think] not. So, [like this,] you, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded [to] you, say, We are [unproductive] servants. We have [only] done, [what] was our duty to do.

And it [happened,] as [Jesus] went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the [middle] of Samaria & Galilee. And as [Jesus] entered into a certain village, 10 men, [who] were lepers, met Him there, & stood [far away.] And they lifted up their voices, & said, Jesus, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] have mercy on us.

And when [Jesus] saw them, He said to them, Go, [show] yourselves to the priests. And it [happened,] that, as they went, they were cleansed [from their leprosy.] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, [returned] back, & glorified God with a loud voice, & fell down [facing the ground,] at [Jesus'] feet, giving [Jesus] thanks. And he was a Samaritan. [John 4:9 Then, the woman of Samaria said to [Jesus,] How is it that You, being a Jew, [ask] [for a] drink [of water] [from] me, [who] am a woman of Samaria? For Jews have [nothing to do] with the Samaritans?]

And answering, Jesus said, Weren't there 10 cleansed? But where are the 9? There aren't [any] found, [who] returned to give glory to God, [except] this stranger. And [Jesus] said to him, Arise, & go [on] your way. Your faith has made you whole.

And when the Pharisees demanded [from Jesus,] when the Kingdom of God should come, [Jesus] answered them & said, The Kingdom of God, [doesn't] come [by] observation, [a.k.a. watching.] Neither shall they say, [Look] here! Or, [look] there! [See,] the Kingdom of God is within you.

And [Jesus] said to the disciples, *The days will come, when you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, & you shall not see it. [Luke 23:44-47 *And it was about the 6th hour, & there was darkness over all the earth until the 9th hour. And the sun was darkened, & the [temple's] veil was [torn] in the [middle.]

And when Jesus had cried [out] with a loud voice, [Jesus] said, Father, I commend My Spirit into Your hands. And having said [this,] He gave up the ghost. Now when, the Centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly, this was a righteous Man.]

And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there. [Don't] go after them, nor follow them. *For [like] the lightning, that [enlightens] one [portion] under heaven, & [shines] to the other [portion] under heaven, So, shall the Son of Man also be [on] His day.

[Revelation 22:16-17 *I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify these things to you in the churches. I Am the Root & the Offspring of David, & the Bright & Morning Star. And the Spirit & the bride say, Come. And let him, [who hears] say, Come. And let him [who] is [thirsty,] come. And [whoever] [is] [willing,] let him take the Water of Life freely.]

*But first, He must suffer many things, & be rejected [by] this generation. [Mark 15:11-15 *But the chief priest moved the people, [so] that [Pilate] should [instead] release Barabbas to them. And Pilate answered & said again to them, What [do you want] that I shall do to Him, Whom you call the King of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify Him.

Then, Pilate said to them, Why, what evil has He done? And they cried out [exceedingly] more, Crucify Him. And so Pilate, willing to [satisfy] the people, released Barabbas to them, & when [Pilate] had Him scourged, [a.k.a. whipped,] delivered Jesus to be crucified.]

And [like] it was [during] the days of [Noah,] it shall also be in the days of the Son of Man. They: [ate,] drank, married wives, & they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, & the flood came & destroyed them all. [Genesis 6:5–8 And God saw that the wickedness of man was [significant on] the earth, & that every imagination & thoughts of his heart was continually only evil.

And the Lord [regretted,] that He had made man on the earth, & it grieved Him [in] His heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man, whom I have created from the [surface] of the earth. Both: man, [animals,] creeping [things,] & [birds] of the air: for I [regret] that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.]

It was also [like this during] the days of Lot. They: [ate,] drank, they bought & sold, they planted & they [built.] [Genesis 19:4-7 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, both young & old, & all the people from every [corner, surrounded] the house. And they called [out] to Lot. And said to [Lot,] Where are the men, [who] came in [with] you this night?

Bring them out to us, [so] that we may know them [intimately.] And Lot went out [of] the door to them, & shut the door after him. And said, I pray [that] you, brethren, don't [do this] [wickedness.]

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire & brimstone from heaven, & destroyed them all. Even it shall be [like this during] the day when the Son of Man is revealed. [2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 You who are troubled, rest with us.

And when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty Angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on [those, who don't] know God, & [those, who don't] obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, & who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, & from the glory of His power.]

On] that day, he, [who is] upon the housetop, & his stuff [is] in the house, let him not come down to take it away. And he, [who] is in the field, let him [also] not return back. Remember Lot's wife. [Genesis 19:24-26 Then, the Lord rained fire & brimstone upon Sodom & Gomorrah, from the Lord out of heaven. And He overthrew all the inhabitants of those cities, & all the plain, & [what] grew upon the ground. But from behind [Lot, his] wife looked back & she became a pillar of salt.]

[Whoever] shall seek to save his life, shall lose it. And [whoever] shall lose his life, shall preserve, [a.k.a. save,] it. [Mark 8:35-38 For [whoever] will save his life, shall lose it. But [whoever] shall lose his life for My sake, & the gospel's, [that person] shall save it.

For what shall it [benefit] a man, if he shall gain the whole world, & lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Therefore, [whoever] in this adulterous, & sinful generation, shall be ashamed of Me & [ashamed] of My Words, the Son of Man shall also be ashamed of him, when He comes in the glory of His Father, with the Holy Angels.

I tell you, [on] that night, there shall be two men in one bed; & the one shall be taken, & the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding [flour] together; & the one shall be taken, & the other left. Two men shall be in the field; & the one shall be taken, & the other left.

And [the Pharisees responded] & said to [Jesus,] Where Lord? And [Jesus] said to them, [Wherever] [a] body is, the [vultures] will be gathered together [there.] [2 Peter 3:8-9 The Lord is not slack, [a.k.a. slow,] concerning His promise, [like] some men [consider] slackness.

But is [patient toward] us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. *But the day of the Lord will come [like] a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, & the elements shall melt with fervent heat, & also the earth, & all the works, [a.k.a. things made,] that are [in there,] shall be burned up.]
