About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Acts 12:1-25 The Angel of the Lord Releases Peter From Prison

The Angel of the Lord Releases Peter From Prison

Acts 12:1-25                    The Acts of the Apostles [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, about that time, king Herod, stretched [out] his hands to [harrass some] of the church. And [Herod] killed James, the brother of John, with the sword. And because [Herod] saw that it pleased the Jews, [Herod] proceeded further to [seize] Peter also. (The Days of Unleavened Bread were then.)

And when [Herod] had [Peter] apprehended, [a.k.a. arrested,] he put [Peter] in prison, & delivered [Peter] to 4 [squads] of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring [Peter out] to the people. Therefore, Peter was kept in prison: but [prayers were] made without ceasing to God, [from] the church, for [Peter.]

And the same night when Herod would have brought [Peter out,] Peter was sleeping between 2 soldiers, bound with 2 chains, & the [guards] [who] kept the prison, [were] [in front of] the door. And, [look,] the Angel of the Lord, came upon [Peter,] & a light shined in the prison.

And [the Angel struck] Peter on the side, & raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And [Peter's] chains fell off from his hands. And the Angel said to [Peter,] [Clothe] yourself, & [strap] on your sandals. And [Peter] did so. And [the Angel] said to him, [Throw] on your garment, [around] you, & follow me.

And [Peter] went out, & followed [the Angel;] & [didn't know] [if] [what] was done by the Angel was true; but [Peter] thought he saw a vision.  When they were past the 1st & 2nd [prison] [wards,] they came to the iron gate that [leads] to the city; which opened to them, [on its] own. And they went out, & passed through 1 street, & [immediately] the Angel departed from [Peter.]

And when Peter [had] come to himself, he said, Now, I know [for] [certain, that the Lord [has] sent His Angel, & [has] delivered me out of the hand of Herod, & from all the expectation of the [Jews'] people. [Acts 14:4-5 But the multitude of the city was divided. And part [agreed] with the Jews, & part [agreed] with the apostles. And when [a plan of] assault was made there, both: [by] the Gentiles, & also [by] the Jews,  with their rulers, to [treat] them [spitefully,] & to stone them.]

And when [Peter] had considered [this] thing, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. And as Peter knocked at the [gate's] door, a [young lady] came to [answer] [the door,] named Rhoda.

And when she knew Peter's voice, she [didn't open,] the gate, [but] for gladness, [she] ran in & told [them] how Peter stood [in front of] the gate. And they said to her, You [are insane.] But [Rhoda] constantly affirmed, [a.k.a. promised] it was [true.]

Then, they said, It's [Peter's] angel. But Peter continued knocking. And when they opened the door, & saw [Peter,] they were astonished. But [Peter motioned] [to] them with [his] hand, to hold their peace, & [Peter] declared to them [about] how the Lord had brought him out of the prison.

And [Peter] said, Go & [declare] these things to James, & to the brethren. And [Peter] departed & went to another place. Now, as soon as it was day, there was no small stir, [a.k.a. there was a major stir,] among the soldiers, [about] what [had] become of Peter.

And when Herod had [searched] for [Peter,] & [didn't find] him, [Herod questioned] the [guards,] & commanded that they should be put to death. And [Peter] went down from Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] to Caesarea, & [lived] there.

And Herod was highly displeased with [those] of Tyre & Sidon. But they came with one accord, [a.k.a. united in agreement,] to [Herod,] & having made Blastus, the king's chamberlain, [a.k.a. high ranking official,] their friend, [requested] peace, because their country was nourished, [a.k.a. relied on food from] the king's country.

And on a [certain] day, Herod, [dressed] in royal [garments,] sat on his throne, & made a [speech] to them. And the people [shouted,] saying, [Herod's] is the voice of a god, & not a man. And immediately, the Angel of the Lord [struck Herod,] because he [hadn't given] God the glory. And [Herod] was eaten [by] worms, & gave up the ghost, [a.k.a. died.]

But the Word of God grew & multiplied. And Barnabas & Saul took John with them, whose surname was Mark, & returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled, [a.k.a. carried out,] their ministry.
