About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Corinthians 10:1-33 Reminding Believers What the Israelites Did in the Wilderness

Reminding Believers What the Israelites Did in the Wilderness

1 Corinthians 10:1-33   Paul's 1st Epistle to the Corinthians [in Smaller Chunks]

[Also,] brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] I [don't want] that you should be ignorant, [a.k.a. unaware,] how all our [forefathers] were under the cloud, & all passed through the sea. [Exodus 14:19-23 And the Angel of God, [who] went [in front of the camp of Israel, [moved,] & went behind them. And the pillar of the cloud went from [in front of] their [faces,] & stood behind them. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians, & the camp of Israel. And it was a cloud, & darkness to them, [a.k.a. Egyptians,] but gave light [at] night to these, [a.k.a. Israelites.] So that the one [didn't come] near the other all night. And Moses stretched out his hand over the [Red] Sea, & the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong East wind all that night, & made the sea dry land, & the waters were divided. And the children, [a,k.a. people,] of Israel went into the [middle] of the sea upon the dry ground. And the waters were a wall to them on their right hand [side] & on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, & went in after them [into] the midst of the sea, even all [of] Pharaoh's horses, chariots, & his horsemen.]

And in the cloud & in the sea, all were baptized unto Moses. And all [ate] the same spiritual meat. [Exodus 16:10-13 And the Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, I have heard the [grumblings] of the children, [a.k.a. people] of Israel. Speak to them, saying, At [evening] you shall eat flesh, [a.k.a. meat,] & in the morning, you shall be filled with bread, [a.k.a. manna.] And you shall know that I Am the Lord your God. And it [happened] that at [evening,] the quails came up, & covered the camp. And in the morning the dew lay [all around] the host, [a.k.a. manna.]

And all [drank] the same spiritual drink. For they drank [from] that Spiritual Rock, [Who] followed them. [Exodus 17:5-7 And the Lord said to Moses, Go [in front of] the people, & take [Israel's] elders with you. And take your rod in your hand, [with which] you [struck] the river, & go. [Look,] I will stand [in front of] you, there upon the rock in Horeb. And you [shall strike] the rock, & water shall come out of it there, [so] that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of [Israel's] elders. And he called the name of the place: Massah, & Meribah, because of the chiding, [a.k.a. criticizing, from] the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. And because they tempted, [a.k.a. tested,] the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?]

And that Rock was Christ. [Psalm 62:5-7 My soul, [waits] only upon God. For my expectation, [a.k.a. hope,] is from Him. He only is my Rock, & my Salvation. He is my defense, & I shall not be [removed.] In God is my Salvation & my glory. The Rock of my strength, & my refuge, is in God.]

But God wasn't well pleased with many of them; for they were overthrown in the wilderness. [Numbers 14:22-23 Because all those men, [who] have seen My glory, & My miracles, [that] I did in Egypt, & in the wilderness, & have tempted, [a.k.a. tested] Me now these 10 times, & haven't [paid attention] to My voice. Surely, they shall not see the land, which I [swore] to their [forefathers,] & neither shall any of them [who] provoked Me see it, [except] My servant, Caleb, because he had another spirit [within] him, & has fully followed Me. I will bring him into the land, [in which] he went, & his seed, [a.k.a. descendants] shall possess it.]

Now, these things were our examples, [with] the intent: we shouldn't lust after evil things, [like] they also lusted. Neither [shall] you be idolaters, as were some of them. As it is written [in the Scriptures,] The people sat down to eat & drink, & rose up to play. [Exodus 32:19-20 And it [happened,] as soon as [Moses] came [near] the camp, he saw the calf, & the dancing. And Moses' anger [grew] hot, & he cast the tables, [a.k.a. 2 tablets with the 10 Commandments,] out of his hands, & [broke] them [below] Mount [Horeb.] And [Moses] took the calf which they had made, & burnt it in the fire, & ground it to powder. And [scattered] it upon the water, & made the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel to drink [from] it.]

Neither let us commit fornication as some of them committed, & 23,000 fell in one day. [Numbers 25:1-3 And Israel abode, [a.k.a. stayed] in Shittim. And the people began to commit [what is: unfaithful harlotry,] with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods. And the people [ate] & bowed to their gods. And Israel joined himself to Baal Peor, [a.k.a. false god.] And the anger of the Lord was [aroused] against Israel.]

Neither let us tempt, [a.k.a. test,] Christ, [like] some of them also [tested,] & were destroyed, [by] serpents. [Numbers 21:5-6 And the people [spoke] against God, & against Moses, [For what reason] have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water. And our soul [loathes,] this light bread, [a.k.a. manna.] And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, & they bit the people. And [many] people of Israel died.]

Neither murmur, [a.k.a. grumble, like] some of them also [grumbled,] & were destroyed by the destroyer. [Exodus 16:2-3 And the whole congregation of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel murmured against Moses & Aaron in the wilderness. And the children [people] of Israel said to them, [If only] we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the [pots of meat,] & when we [ate] bread [until we were] full. For You have brought us [out] into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly, [a.k.a. group,] with hunger.]

Now, all these things happened to them for [examples,] & they are written for our [warning,] upon whom, the [end] of the world [comes.] [Revelation 3:19-22 I rebuke, [a.k.a. discipline] & [chastise,] as many as I love. Therefore, be zealous & repent. [Watch,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who overcomes] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne.

[For this reason,] let him, [who thinks] he [stands, a.k.a. endures, pay attention,] lest he [falls.] There [hasn't] [been any] temptation, [that's over] taken you, [except] such as [are] common to man. But God is faithful, Who won't [allow] you to be tempted above [what] you are able. But will also make a way to escape the temptation, [so] that you are able to bear it. My dearly beloved, [in the faith of Jesus Christ,] [for this reason,] flee from idolatry. [1 Chronicles 16:25-26 For the Lord is great, & greatly to be praised. He is also to be feared, [a.k.a. respected,] above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.]

I speak [like] to wise men. You judge what I say. [Judges 2:11-13 And the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, did evil in the sight of the Lord, & served Baalim, [a.k.a. Baal.] And they] abandoned] the Lord God of their [forefathers, Who] brought them out of the land of Egypt, & followed other gods, of the gods of the people [who] were [all around] them. And bowed themselves to them & provoked the Lord to anger. And they [abandoned] the Lord, & served Baal & Ashtaroth.]

The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it the communion: of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it the communion: of the body of Christ? [Mark 14:22-24 And as they [ate,] Jesus took bread, blessed, & [broke] it, & gave it to them, & said, Take, eat: this is My body. And [Jesus] took the cup, & when He had given thanks, He gave it to them: & they all drank [from] it. And [Jesus] said to them, This is My blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many.

For we, being many, are one bread, & one body. For we are all partakers of that one bread. [See, according] [to] the flesh, aren't [those] of Israel, [who] eat of the sacrifices, partakers, [a.k.a. participants,] of [the sacrifices on] the altar? Then, what [shall] I say? [Shall I say] that the idol is anything, or that [what] is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything? [1 Corinthians 8:4 Therefore, [about] the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice to idols. We know that an idol in the world is nothing, & that there is [no] other God, but One.]

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to [demons,] & not to God. And I [don't want] that you should have fellowship with [demons.] You can't drink the cup of the Lord, & the cup of [demons.] You can't be partakers of the Lord's table, & the table of [demons.] Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? [Exodus 20:4-6 You [shall] not make [for yourself] any [carved] image, or any likeness of anything that is: in heaven above; [on] the earth [below;] or that is in the water under the earth. You [shall] not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, Am a Jealous God, visiting the [sin] of the fathers upon the children [until] the 3rd & 4th [generations] of [those, who] hate Me. And [displaying] mercy to 1,000's of [those, who] love Me.]

Are we stronger than He? [Psalm 28:7-8 The Lord is my strength & my shield. My heart [trusts] in Him, & I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly [rejoices.] And I will praise Him with my song. The Lord is their strength, & He is the saving strength of His Anointed.]

All things are lawful for me, but all things aren't expedient, [a.k.a. beneficial.] All things are lawful for me, but all things [don't] edify, [a.k.a. build up.] Let every man seek another's wealth, & not his own.

Eat [whatever] is sold in the [meat market,] asking no [questions,] for [your] [conscience's] sake. For the earth is the Lord's, & the fullness [of it.] If any of [those, who don't] believe, bid, [a.k.a. invite,] you to a feast, & you [agree] to go; eat [whatever] is [put] before you, asking no [questions,] for [your] [conscience's] sake.

But if any man [says] to you, this is offered in [sacrifices] to idols, [don't] eat for his sake, [who declared] it, & for [conscience's] sake. For the earth is the Lord's, & the fullness [of it.] I say not [for] your own conscience, but [for] the other [man's.] For why [should] my liberty, [a.k.a. freedom,] be judged [by] another man's conscience?

For if [through] grace, I [am] a [participant,] why [is evil spoken of me,] for that [food,] for which I give thanks? Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or [whatever] you do, do all to the glory of God.

[Do] [nothing] [to] [offend,] neither to: the Jews; the Gentiles; nor to the church of God. Even [be] [like] I please all men in all things, not seeking [my] own [benefit,] but the [benefit] of many, [so] that they may be saved.
