About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Corinthians 3:1-23 Worldly Wisdom is Foolish to God

Worldly Wisdom is Foolish to God

1 Corinthians 3:1-23   Paul's 1st Epistle to the Corinthians [in Smaller Chunks]

And brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] I couldn't speak to you [about] [what is:] spiritual, but [only] to carnal [things,] [a.k.a. worldly things,] even [like] babes, [a.k.a. recent believers,] in Christ. I have fed you with milk, & not with meat, for [up until now,] you weren't able to bear it, & neither are you [still] able [to.]

For you are [still] carnal, [a.k.a. worldly, since] among you there is: strife, [a.k.a. quarreling,] & division. Aren't you carnal, & walk, [a.k.a. follow, like] men? For while one [says,] I'm [from] Paul, and another [says,] I'm [from] Apollos; aren't you [worldlly?]

Then, who is Paul, & who is Apollos, but [only] ministers, by whom you believed [in Jesus Christ] even [like] the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered, but God [increased] [what was produced.] [Matthew 13:22-23 He [who] also received seed among the thorns is he, [who hears] the Word, & the [cares] of this world. And the deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word, & he [becomes] unfruitful. But he [who] received seed into the good ground, is he [who hears] the Word, & [understands] it; which also [bears, a.k.a. produces,] fruit, & [brings] forth, some 100 fold, some 60, & some 30.

So then, neither is he [who plants] anything, [nor] he [who waters;] but [it's] God, [Who gives] the increase. Now, he [who plants] & he [who waters] are one, [a.k.a. united in sharing their faith,] & every man shall receive his own reward according to his own [labor.] For we are [laborers] together with God.

You are God's [farmers who till,] & you are God's building. [Hebrews 3:6 But Christ, [like] a Son over His Own house, Whose house we are, if we hold fast, [a.k.a. tightly to] the confidence & rejoicing [in] hope, [firmly until] the end.]

According to the grace of God which is given to me, [like] a wise master-builder. I have laid the foundation, & another [builds on it.] But let every man [pay attention,] [to] how he [builds upon it.] For no man can lay [any] other foundation, than Jesus Christ, which is laid.

Now, if any man [builds] upon this foundation [with:] gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] for the day shall declare, [a.k.a. display,] it, because it shall be revealed by fire, & the fire shall try, [a.k.a. test,] every man's work, of what sort it is.

[Malachi 3:2-3 But who may abide, [a.k.a. endure,] the Day of His coming? And who shall stand when He [appears?] For He is like a refiner's fire, & like a [launderer's soap.] And He shall sit [like] a refiner & purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, & purge them [like] gold & silver, [so] that they may offer to the Lord, an offering in righteousness.]

If any man's work [abides, a.k.a. endures, that Christ has] built [upon,] he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he, himself, shall be saved; yet [like through] fire.

[Don't] you know that you are the temple of God, & that the [Holy] Spirit of God dwells [within] you? If any man [defiles] the temple of God, God shall destroy him, for the temple of God is Holy, [Whose] temple you are.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you [seems] to be wise in [the ways of] this world, let him become a fool, [so] that he may [become] wise. [Proverbs 3:7 [Don't] be wise in your own eyes: Fear, [a.k.a. Respect] the Lord, & depart from evil.]

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness [to] God. For it is written [in the Scriptures:] He [takes] the wise in their own craftiness, [a.k.a. deceitfulness.]

And again, [it is written in the Scriptures:] The Lord [knows] the thoughts of the wise, & that they are vain. [Job 11:11 For He [knows] vain men, & He also [sees] wickedness. [Won't] He then consider it?]

Therefore, let no man glory, [a.k.a. boast,] in men. For all things are yours: whether: Paul; or Apollos; or Cephas, [a.k.a. Peter;] or the world; or life; or death; or things [now;] or things to come; all are yours. And you are Christ's, & Christ is God's.
