The Gentiles Should Be Fellow Heirs Through Christ |
Ephesians 3:1-21 The Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians [in Smaller Chunks] |
[For this reason,] I, Paul, the prisoner [for sharing my faith in] Jesus Christ for you, Gentiles. If you have heard [about] the dispensation, [a.k.a. distribution,] of the grace of God, which is given to me [& also] to you. How [Jesus Christ revealed] to me, the mystery; ([like] I [previously] wrote in [a] few words, [by which, you may understand my knowledge [about] the mystery of Christ, when you read [it.]) |
[Jesus Christ, Who] in [previous times,] wasn't made known to the sons of men, [like] it is now revealed to His Holy apostles & prophets [through] the [Holy] Spirit. [So] that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, & [participants] of His promise [through] Christ [in] the Gospel, & of the same body. [Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew, nor Greek, [a.k.a. Gentiles,] & there is neither bond, [a.k.a. slaves,] nor free. There is neither male, nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. *And if you [are] Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] & heirs, according to the promise.] |
[Of which,] I was made a minister, according to the gift of Grace, given to me by the [effective work] of [the Lord God's] power. This grace is given to me, who am less than the least of all saints, that I should preach the unsearchable [richness] of Christ, among the Gentiles. |
And to make all men see what the fellowship of the mystery is, which [has] been [hidden through] God, from the beginning of the world, Who created all things by Jesus Christ. [Colossians 1:26-28 Even the mystery which [has] been [hidden] [throughout the] ages & generations, but is now made manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] to [the Lord God's] saints. To whom God would make known, what the [richness] of the glory of this mystery is among the Gentiles, which is the hope of glory [through] you in Christ. Whom we preach [about,] & [warn & teach] every man, in all wisdom, [so] that we may present every man [perfected, through] Christ Jesus.] |
[So that,] [God's multitude] of wisdom might be known now by the church, & to the principalities & powers in heavenly places. [Ephesians 6:12 For we [don't] wrestle against flesh & blood, but against: principalities, against powers, against rulers of this [world's] darkness, & against spiritual wickedness in high places.] |
According to eternal purpose, [that God planned through] Christ Jesus our Lord; in Whom we have [boldly] [spoken,] by faith [in Jesus Christ,] & [aproach] [non-believers] with confidence. [Acts 13:46-49 Then, Paul & Barnabas [grew] bold, & said, It was necessary that the Word of God should 1st have been spoken to you. But [since] you put it [away] from [yourselves] & judge yourselves unworthy of Everlasting Life, [look,] we turn to the Gentiles. *For the Lord [has] commanded us so, saying, I have [put] you to be a Light [for] the Gentiles, [so] that you [should] be for Salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad & glorified the Word of the Lord. And as many as believed, were ordained, [a.k.a. appointed,] to Eternal Life. And the Word of the Lord was published, [a.k.a. proclaimed,] throughout all the region.] |
[For this reason,] I desire that you [don't] faint, [a.k.a. give up, because] [of] my tribulations for you, which [leads to] your glory. For this [reason,] I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [by] Whom, the whole family [of Christians] in heaven & earth [are] Named [after.] |
[So] that, [the Lord God] would grant you to be strengthened, according to the [richness] of His glory, with [strength within] man, [through] His Spirit. [So] that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. |
That you, [are] rooted & grounded in love, & may be able with all [the Lord God's] saints, to comprehend, [a.k.a. understand,] & know: what the breadth, length, depth, & height, of [Christ's] love, which [passes] [all] [understanding] [is] [so] that you might be filled with [the love] of God, [beyond all measure.] |
Now, to [the Lord God, Who] is able to do [exceedingly more] above all we think, or ask, according to the power [of the Holy Spirit, Who] [works within] us. |
[May] glory be to [God] in the church [through] Christ Jesus, throughout all ages, [a.k.a. eternity,] world without end. Amen. |
