About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

We Don't Speak to Please Men, but to Please God, Who Tests Our Hearts

1st Thessalonians  2:1-20  Paul's Epistle to Thessalonians [in Smaller Chunks]

For brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] [you,] yourselves, know [about] [our coming] to you, & that it wasn't in vain, [a.k.a. unproductive.] Even after [what] we had [previously] suffered, & were [treated] shamefully, as you know at Philippi.

But we [spoke boldly] [through] our God to you, [& shared] the Gospel of God with much contention, [a.k.a. controversy.] For our [strong recommendations weren't] [through] deceit, nor [impurity,] nor guile, [a.k.a. falsehoods to lead people astray.] [2 Corinthians 7:2 Receive, [a.k.a. accept or welcome,] us. We have wronged no man; we have corrupted no man; & we have defrauded no man.]

But we even speak [like this] as we were allowed [from] God, to be [entrusted] with [sharing] the Gospel [about Jesus Christ,] not as pleasing men, but [what is pleasing to] God, [Who tests] our hearts. [Galatians 1:10-12 For do I now persuade men, or God? For if I [still] pleased men, I [wouldn't] be the servant of Christ. But I certify, [a.k.a. verify,] [to] you brethren, that the Gospel which was preached [by] me, isn't [according to] man. For neither [did] I receive it [from] man, & neither was I taught it, but [the Gospel] [was shared with me through] the revelation of Jesus Christ.]

For neither at any time [did] we [use] flattering words, nor a cloke, [a.k.a. disguise,] of [any] covetousness, [a.k.a. greed,] as you know, & God is [our] witness.

Nor [did] we [seek] glory [from] men; [from] you; nor [from] others, when we might have been [a financial] [burden] [to you,] as the apostles of Christ.           [2 Corinthians 11:9 And when I was [there] with you, & wanted [something,] I [wasn't] chargeable, [a.k.a. responsible,] to [any] man: for [what] was lacking to me, & the brethren, [who] came from Macedonia supplied [what was needed.] And in all things, I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, & I will keep myself so, [a.k.a. this way.]

But we were [kind] among you, even [like] a [nursing] [mother] [cherishes] her children. So, [with deep] affection, [we] [longed for] you, & we were [pleased to make known] to you, not [only through] the Gospel of God, but also [through] our own souls, because you were dear to us.

For brethren, you remember our [strenuous work & painful effort, laboring, a.k.a. working,] night & day, because we [didn't want] to be [financially] [responsible] to any of you, [while] we preached the Gospel of God to you.

You & God also are [our] witnesses, how [we conducted ourselves in a:] [holy; fair;] & [an unblameable] [manner,] among you, [who] believe [in Jesus Christ.] [Since,] you know how we [advised,] comforted, & [gave responsibilities] [to] everyone of you, [like] a father [does] [to] his children, [so] that you would walk, [a.k.a. follow,] worthy of God, Who [has] called you unto His Kingdom & glory.

[Ephesians 4:1-3 Therefore, I, the prisoner [for sharing my faith about] the Lord, [urge] you, that you [follow] worthy of the vocation, [a.k.a. occupation, of which] you were called, with all lowliness, [a.k.a. humbleness;] meekness, [a.k.a. gentleness;] with [patience;] forbearing, [a.k.a. forgiving,] one another [with] love; endeavoring, [a.k.a. trying,] to keep the unity of the [Holy] Spirit in the bond, [a.k.a. union,] of peace.]

We also thank God without ceasing, for this [reason,] because, when you received the Word of God, which you heard [from] us, you [didn't] receive it [like] the [words] of men, but [like] it is, in Truth. [John 14:6 Jesus [said] to him, I Am the Way, the Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.

The Word of God, which also [works effectively] in you, [who] believe [in Jesus Christ.] [Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God, through  Jesus Christ, for all [of] you, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.]

For you, brethren, became followers of Christ Jesus, in the churches of God, [that] are in Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea.] For you have also suffered [similar] things [from] your own countrymen, even [like] they have [suffered] [from] the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus, & their own prophets. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you [who kill] the prophets, & [stone those, who] are sent to [warn] you. How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen [gathers] her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord.]

And they: have persecuted us; [don't] please God; & are contrary, [a.k.a. incompatible, with] all men: & [always build] up their sins, forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles, [so] that they might be saved. For the wrath [of God comes] to the [utmost,] upon [those] [who do this.]

But being taken from you, in [person,] brethren, for a short time, [but] not [taken from our] [hearts,] we endeavored, [a.k.a. attempted,] more abundantly, to see your [faces] with great desire.

[For this reason,] we would have come to you, even I, Paul, [tried to come see you,] once, & again; but Satan hindered us, [a.k.a. interfered with us doing so.] [Ephesians 6:12 For we [don't] wrestle against flesh & blood, but against: principalities; powers; the rulers of this [world's] darkness; & against spiritual wickedness in high places.]

For what [good] is our hope, joy, or crown of rejoicing, [if] you aren't even in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? For you are our glory & joy.
