About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2nd Timothy 1:1-18 Believers Aren't to be Ashamed of Their Testimony About the Lord

Believers Aren't to be Ashamed of Their Testimony About the Lord

2nd Timothy 1:1-18            Paul's 2nd Epistle to Timothy [in Smaller Chunks]

[From:] Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, [through] the will of God, according to the promise of [Eternal] Life, which is [only through faith] in Christ Jesus. To Timothy, my dearly beloved son, [in the faith of Jesus Christ, & may] grace; mercy; & peace [be to you] from God the Father, & Christ Jesus our Lord. [Titus 1:2 In [the] hope of Eternal Life, [that] God, [Who] cannot lie, promised before the world began.]

In my prayers night & day, I thank God, Whom I serve with [a] pure conscience, [as did] my forefathers, & I [remember] you without ceasing. [I] greatly [desire] to [come] see you, [thinking about] your tears [of joy when we get together, so] that I may be filled with joy.

When I [remember your sincere] faith [within] you, which [was] 1st [within] your grandmother, Lois, & your mother, Eunice, I am persuaded that [sincere faith is] [within] you also.

[For this reason, I'm reminded of] you, & putting my hands on you, that [stirred] up the gift of God, which is [within] you. For God hasn't given us the spirit of fear; but [the Holy Spirit] of: power; love, & a sound mind, [a.k.a. being able to think clearly, & rationally.]

Therefore, [don't] you be ashamed of the Testimony [about] our Lord, nor [about] me, His prisoner. [Acts 20:20-24 And how I kept nothing back that was [beneficial] to you, but have [declared] [this to] you & taught you publicly, [& went] from house to house. Testifying both to the Jews, & also to the Greeks, [a.k.a. Gentiles,] [about] repentance [to] God, & faith [to] our Lord Jesus Christ. And now, [see,] I go bound, [a.k.a. in chains,] [led by] the [Holy] Spirit, not knowing [what] things should [happen] [to] me there: [except] that the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, witnesses] [to me ] in every city, saying, [what] bonds, & afflictions [await] [for] me. But none of these things [discourage] me, & neither [do] I [consider] my life dear to [me,] so that I might [continue to] finish my course, [a.k.a. mission,] with joy, & [continue] the ministry, which I have received [from] the Lord Jesus, to testify [about] the Gospel of the grace of God.]

But you, be [a] [participant] of the afflictions [for sharing your faith in Jesus Christ, through] the Gospel, according to the power of God. Who [has] saved us, & called us with [a] Holy calling, [a.k.a. Holy occupation,] not according to our works, [a.k.a. deeds,] but according to [the Lord God's] Own purpose, & grace.

Which was given [to] us [through] Christ Jesus [even] before the world began [to exist.] But is now made manifest, [a.k.a. visible, through] our Savior Jesus [Christ's appearance,] Who [has] abolished death. [Romans 5:21 That [like] sin [has ruled] [& leads] to death, even so grace might [rule] through righteousness, [& leads] to Eternal Life [through] Jesus Christ our Lord.]

And [has] brought Life, & immortality to Light, through the Gospel [about Jesus Christ.] [For this reason,] I'm appointed [as:] a preacher; an apostle; & a teacher [for] the Gentiles. [However,] I'm not ashamed & I also suffer these things, for [this] cause.

For I know [in] Whom I have believed, & am persuaded that [the Lord God] is able to keep [all] [those whom] I have committed to Him, against that day. [Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, & Your wrath [has] come, & the time of the dead, [so] that they should be judged. And that You should give reward to Your servants, the prophets, & to the saints, & [the] [powerless & powerful, who] fear, [a.k.a. respect,] Your Name, & should destroy [those, who] destroy, [a.k.a. devastate,] the earth.]

Hold fast, [a.k.a. hold tight or embrace,] the form of sound words, [that] you [have] heard from me, [about the] faith & love [for us] which is [within] Christ Jesus.

Keep that good thing which was committed, [a.k.a. appointed,] to you, by the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, Who dwells within] us. You [know] this, that all [those, who] are in Asia [have] turned away from me, of whom are: Phygellus, [a.k.a. Phygelus,] & Hermogenes.

[May] the Lord give mercy to the [household] of Onesiphorus; for [often] he refreshed me, & [he] wasn't ashamed, [a.k.a. embarrassed, about] my [chains.] But when he was in Rome, [Onesiphorus,] very diligently sought me out & found me.

[May] the Lord grant to [Onesiphorus] that he may find mercy [through] the Lord [on] that day. And you [know] very well, how many things [Onesiphorus] ministered to me [in] Ephesus.
