About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Revelation 18:1-24 These Things Happen When Babylon, that Large City, Falls

These Things Happen When Babylon, that Large City, Falls

Revelation 18:1-24         The Revelation of Jesus Christ [in Smaller Chunks]

And after these things, I saw another Angel, having great power, come down from heaven, & the earth was lightened with his glory. [Revelation 17:1 And one of the 7 Angels, [who] had the 7 vials, came there, & talked with me, saying to me, Come, [here.] I will [declare] to you the judgment of the great [unfaithful harlot, who sits] upon many waters.]

And he cried [out] mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon, the great, is fallen. Is fallen, & [it's] become the habitation, [a.k.a. home,] of: [demons;] & [stronghold] [for] every foul spirit, [a.k.a. evil spirit,] & a cage [for all] unclean & hateful [birds.]

For all nations, have drunk the wine of the wrath of her fornication, [a.k.a. infidelity.] And the kings of the earth have committed fornication, [a.k.a. adultery,] with her, [a.k.a. Babylon.] And the merchants of the earth [have grown] rich through the abundance of her delicacies, [a.k.a. choice foods.]

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, [so] that you [aren't participants] of her sins, & you [don't] receive her plagues. For her sins have reached [up,] into heaven, & God [has] remembered her [sins.] [Jeremiah 51:47-49 Therefore, [watch,] the days come, that I will do, [a.k.a. accomplish,] judgment upon the [carved] images, [a.k.a. idols,] of Babylon. And her whole land shall be [ashamed,] & all her slain shall fall in the midst of her. Then, the heaven; earth; & all that is [in it,] shall sing, [because of] Babylon. For the spoilers, [a.k.a. those who plunder,] shall come to her from the North, [says] the Lord. [Like] Babylon [has] caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon, all the slain of the earth shall fall.]

Reward her, [a.k.a. Babylon,] in the cup which she [has] filled, & fill double to her, even [like] she has rewarded you, & double to her, double according to her works, [a.k.a. deeds.] [Revelation 16:19-21 And the great city was divided into 3 parts, & the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon, [was remembered] before God, to give the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath to her. And every island fled away, & the mountains weren't found. And out of heaven, great, [a.k.a. large,] hail fell upon men there, & every stone, [a.k.a hail stone, weighed] about 1 talent. And men blasphemed God, because of the plague of hail. For the plague [of it] was [exceedingly] great, [a.k.a. more than ordinary.]

How she has glorified herself [greatly,] for she [says] in her heart, I, a queen, sit, & [I'm not a] widow, & shall see no sorrow & lived deliciously, so give her much torment & sorrow. [Isaiah 47:8-19 Therefore, now hear this, you, [who are] given to pleasures, & [who dwells securely,] & [who says] in your heart, I am, & [no one] else beside me. I shall not sit [like] a widow, & neither shall I know the loss of children. But these 2 things shall [happen] to you in a moment, [on] 1 day: the loss of children & widowhood. In their perfection, they shall [absolutely] come upon you for: the multitude of your sorceries, & the great abundance of your enchantments. For you [have] trusted in your wickedness. You [have] said, [No One sees] me. [By:] your wisdom & your knowledge, [has] perverted you, [a.k.a. led you astray.] And you [have] said in your heart, I am, & [no one] else, beside me.]

Therefore, her plagues: death; mourning; & famine, shall come in one day. And she, [a.k.a. Babylon,] shall [totally] be burned with fire. For the Lord God, Who [Judges] her, Is strong. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication, [a.k.a. adultery,] with her, shall bewail her, & lament, [a.k.a. mourn,] for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing [far away,] for fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that: great & mighty city, Babylon! For your judgment [has] come in one hour. [Isaiah 21:9 *And [look,] here [comes] a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered & said, Babylon [has] fallen, [has] fallen, & [God has] broken all the [carved] images, [a.k.a. idols,] of her gods to the ground.]

And the merchants of the earth shall weep & mourn over her; [because] no man [buys] their merchandise anymore. [Ezekiel 27:33-34 *When your wares, [a.k.a. merchandise,] went out on the seas, you [filled] many people, & you [enriched] the kings of the earth, with the multitude of your riches & your merchandise. [During] the time, when you [shall] be broken by the seas in the midst of the waters, all your company in the midst of you & your merchandise shall fall, [a.k.a. be destroyed.]

The merchandise of: gold; silver; precious stones; pearls; fine linen; purple; silk; scarlet; thyine wood; and all [types] of ivory vessels, [a.k.a. containers.] And all [types] of vessels of [the] most precious: wood; brass; iron; & marble. [Also:] cinnamon, [scents;] ointments; frankincense; wine; oil; fine flour; wheat; beasts, [a.k.a. wild animals;] & sheep; horses; chariots; slaves; & souls of men.

And the fruits that your soul lusted after, [have] departed from you. And all things [that] were dainty & [beautiful have] departed from you, & you [shall] no [longer] find them, at all. The merchants, [who] made you rich [by] these things, shall stand weeping & wailing [far away,] for fear of her torment. And [say,] Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in: fine linen; purple; scarlet; & [decorated] with: gold; precious stones; & pearls! [Revelation 17:18 And the woman [that] you [saw,] is that great city, [that rules] over the kings of the earth.]

For in one hour, [such] great riches [have] come to [nothing.] And every ship-master, [a.k.a. captain,] & all the [fleet] of ships; & sailors; & as many as trade by sea, stood [far away,] & cried [out] when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is [similar] to this great city? And they cast dust on their heads. [Ezekiel 27:30 And they cast dust up, upon their heads, & shall wallow themselves in the ashes.]

And [they] cried [out] weeping, & wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city [in which] all [who] had ships in the sea were made rich, [because] of her costliness! For in one hour, she is made desolate, [a.k.a empty.] [Revelation 6:9-10 And when He had opened the 5th seal, I saw [before] the altar, the souls of [those, who] were [killed,] for [sharing] the Word of God, & for [sharing] the testimony [about Jesus Christ,] which they held. And they cried [out] with a loud voice, saying, O Lord Holy & True, How long [is it that] You [don't] judge, & avenge our blood, on [those, who] dwell on the earth?]

Rejoice over her: you [in] heaven; you holy apostles; & prophets. For God [has] avenged you, [upon] her, [a.k.a. Babylon.] And a mighty Angel took up a stone, [a.k.a. boulder,] like a great millstone, [a.k.a. stone wheel for grinding grain,] & has cast it into the sea, saying, That great city, Babylon, shall be thrown down [like this,] with violence, & shall no [longer] be found, at all.

And the voice, [a.k.a. sound,] of: harpers; musicians; pipers; & trumpeters, shall no [longer] be heard in you, at all. And no craftsman, of [any type of] craft, shall be found in you anymore. And the sound of a millstone [grinding,] shall no [longer] be heard in you, at all. And the light of a candle shall no [longer] shine in you, at all. And the voice of the bride-groom & the bride, shall no [longer] be heard in you, at all.

For your merchants were the great men of the earth, [but] all nations were deceived by your sorceries. And [within] her, [a.k.a. Babylon,] was found the blood of: prophets; saints; & all [who] were [killed] upon the earth. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who kill] the prophets, & stone [those, who] are sent to [warn] you. How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen [gathers] her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord.]
