About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 9:1-37 Jehu is Anointed as King Over Israel

Jehu is Anointed as King Over Israel

2 Kings 9:1-37                             2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

[The] prophet, Elisha, called one of the children of the prophets, & said to him, [Strap] up [a belt around] your [waist,] & take this box of oil in your hand, & go to Ramoth Gilead.

And when you [get there,] look there [for] Jehu, [the grandson] of Jehoshaphat, [who was] [Nimshi's] son. Go in, & make him [stand] up, & [leave] from among his brethren, & [take] him to an inner [room.]

Then, take the box of oil, & pour it on his head, & say, The Lord has [says this,] I have anointed you [to be the] king over Israel. Then, [don't wait,] open the door, & flee.

So, the young prophet went to Ramoth Gilead. And when he came, [he] [saw,] the captains of the [army] were sitting, & he said, I have an errand [for] you, O captain. And Jehu [asked,] To which of us? And [the young prophet] said, To you, O captain.

And [Jehu] arose, & went into the house, & [the prophet] poured the oil on [Jehu's] head, & said to him, The Lord God of Israel [says this,] I have anointed you king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel.

And you shall [destroy] the house of Ahab, your master, [so] I may avenge the blood of My servants, the prophets, & the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at [Jezebel's hand.]

[1 Kings 18:13 Wasn’t it told [you,] my lord, what I did when Jezebel [killed] the prophets of the Lord, & how I hid 100 men of the Lord’s prophets by 50 in a cave, & fed them with bread & water?]

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, & I will cut off all [the males from] Ahab, & [those of] [his] [who] [are] shut up, & left in Israel. And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son. And like the house of Baasha, [Ahijah's] son.

[1 Kings 14:9 But [you] have done evil above all [who] were before you: for you have gone & made [yourself] other gods, & [molded] images, to provoke Me to anger, & have [thrown] Me behind your back.]

And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the [vicinity] of Jezreel, & there shall be [no one] to bury her. And, [the young prophet] opened the door & fled. Then, Jehu came [out] to the servants of his lord, & [someone] said to him, Is all well?

[Why] [did] this [crazy man come] to you? And [Jehu] said to them, You know the man, & [the type of things] [he says.] And they said, It's [a lie.] Tell us now.

And [Jehu] said, He [said this & that] to me, & [said,] The Lord [says this,] I have anointed you king over Israel. Then, they [hurried,] & every man took his garment, & [laid] [out] [their clothing,] on the top of the stairs [like a red carpet] under him, & blew [their] trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

So, Jehu, the [grandson] of Jehoshaphat, [who was] the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram, [a.k.a. Ahab's son.] (Now, Joram & all [of] Israel, had kept Ramoth Gilead, because of Hazael, [Syria's] king.

But king Joram, [a.k.a. Jehoram, had] returned to be healed in Jezreel [from] the wounds the Syrians had given him when he had fought with Hazael, [Syria's] king.)

And Jehu said, [Don't even let] it [cross] your minds, [to] let [anyone] go [out,] nor escape out of the city, to go to tell it in Jezreel. So, Jehu rode a chariot, & went to Jezreel; for Joram, [a.k.a. Ahab's son,] lay there [wounded.]

And Ahaziah, [Judah's] king, [came] down to see Joram, [a.k.a. his uncle.] There stood a [guard] on the tower in Jezreel, & he spied the company [with] Jehu, as he came. And [the guard] said, I see a company.

And Joram said, Take, & send [a] horseman to meet them & let [the horseman] say, Is it [that you have come in] peace? So, [someone] went there on horseback to meet him, & said, The king [says this,] Is it peace? And Jehu [answered,] What [do] you [have] to do with peace? Turn [yourself,] & [get] behind me. And the [guard] told them, The messenger [went] to them, but he [didn't come] [back] again.

Then, he sent a 2nd [messenger] on horseback to them, & said, The king [says this,] [Are you coming] in peace? And Jehu answered, What [do] you [have] to do with peace? Turn [yourself,] & [get] behind me. And the [guard said, The messenger] even came to them, & [didn't return] again.

And the [person] driving [the chariot, looks] like the driving of Jehu, [Nimshi's] son, for he [drives] furiously. And Joram said, [Get my] chariot ready, & his chariot was made ready. And Joram, [Israel's] king, & Ahaziah, [Judah's] king, each went out in his [own] chariot against Jehu.

And [they] met [Jehu] in the portion [of land] of Naboth, the Jezreelite. [1 Kings 21:13-15. And 2 [wicked] men came in there, & sat [in front of Naboth.] And the [wicked] men [falsely] [testified] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth [blasphemed] God & the king. Then, they carried [Naboth] out of the city, & stoned him, & he died.  Then, they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned & is dead.

And it [happened,] when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, & was dead, Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, & take possession of the vineyard of Naboth, the Jezreelite, [who] refused to give [it to] you for money. For Naboth is not alive, but [is] dead.]

AndI it [happened,] when Joram saw Jehu, he said, Is it peace, Jehu? [Jehu] answered, What peace [is there,] so long as [there] are so many [unfaithful harlotries] of your mother, Jezebel, & her [many] witchcrafts?

And [with] his hands, Joram turned [the chariot around,] & fled, & said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treachery. And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, & [struck] Joram [a.k.a. Jehoram, between [the shoulders,] & the arrow went out [by] his heart, & he [sank] down in his chariot.

Then, Jehu said to Bidkar, his captain, Take up [the corpse,] & [throw] him into the portion of [Naboth's] field, the Jezreelite.

Remember how you, & I rode together after Ahab, his father, [when] the Lord [spoke this prophecy against] [Ahab.] The Lord [says,] Surely, I [saw] yesterday the blood of Naboth, & the blood of his sons, & I will [repay] you in this [plot] [of land,] [says] the Lord.

Therefore, now take, & [throw] him into this [plot] of ground, according to the Word of  the Lord.  But when Ahaziah, [Judah's] king, saw this, he fled by the [road] of the garden house.

And Jehu followed after [Ahaziah,] & said, Also [shoot] him in the chariot. And they did so, [on the way] up to Gur, by Ibleam. And [Ahaziah] fled to Migiddo, & died there. And his servants carried [Ahaziah] in a chariot to Jerusalem, & buried him in his [tomb] with his [forefathers] in the city of David.

In the 11th year of Joram, [Ahab's grandson,] [ruled,] Ahaziah began to [rule] over Judah. And when Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it, & painted her face, & [layered her hair on] her head, & looked out a window.

And as Juhu entered at the gate, [Jezabel] said, [Did] Zimri, who [killed] his master, [have] peace? And [Jehu looked] up to the window, & said, Who is on my side? Who? And 2 or 3 eunuchs, [a.k.a. officials,] there, looked out to Jehu.] And [Jehu] said, Throw her down. So, they threw [Jezebel] down.

And some of [Jezebel's] blood sprinkled on the wall, & on the horses, & [Jehu trampled] her under foot. And when [Jehu] came in, he [ate & drank,] & said, Go & see this cursed woman now, & bury her; for she is a king's daughter. And they went to bury her; but they [only] found [her:] skull, feet & the palms of her hands.

[For this reason,] they [went back,] & told [Jehu.] And [Jehu] said, This is the Word of the Lord, [that] He spoke by his servant, Elijah, the Tishbite.

Saying, in [Naboth's plot in] Jezreel, [the] dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel, &  the [corpse] of Jezebel shall be [like human fertilizer] upon the [surface of] the field, in [the plot in] Jezreel, so that they [won't] [be able to] say, This is Jezebel.
