A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician. |
Psalm 20:1-9 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
The Lord hears you [on] the day of trouble. God [defends] you in the name of Jacob & [sends] you help from the sanctuary & strengthens you out of Zion. [He] [remembers] all your offerings & [accepts] your burnt [sacrifices.] Selah. |
[He] [grants] you, according to your own heart & fulfills all your [advice given.] We will rejoice in Your Salvation & in the Name of our God & we will [put] up our banners. The Lord [fulfills] all your [requests.] |
Now, I know that the Lord saves His anointed. He will hear him from His holy heaven, with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots & some in horses. But we will remember the Name of the Lord, our God. |
[Psalm 33:16-18 There is no king saved by the multitude of an [army.] A mighty man isn't delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. [Look,] the eye of the Lord is upon [those who] fear [respect] Him & upon [those who] hope in His mercy.] |
They are brought down & fallen. But we are risen & stand upright. Lord, save us & let the king hear when we call. |
