A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician. |
Psalm 21:1-13 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
The king shall [have] joy in Your strength, O Lord & how greatly he shall rejoice in Your Salvation! You haven't [withheld] the request of his lips & You have given him his heart's desire. Selah. |
For You [have kept] him [from death] & You have set a pure gold crown on his head, with blessings of goodness. He asked [for] life [from] You & You gave it [to] him, even [lengthened] his days forever & ever. |
[Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root & the Offspring of David & the Bright & Morning Star.] |
His glory is great in Your Salvation. You have [put] upon him honor & majesty. You have made him [exceedingly] glad with Your [appearance,] for You have made him most blessed forever. |
For the king trusts in the Lord & through the mercy of the Most High, he shall not be [removed.] Your right hand shall find out those [who] hate You & Your hand shall find out all Your enemies. |
You shall make them [like] a fiery oven in the time of Your anger. The Lord shall swallow them up in His [fury] & the fire shall devour them. |
[Revelation 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire & brimstone, where the beast & the false prophet are & shall be tormented day & night forever & ever.] |
You shall destroy their [offspring,] from the earth & their [descendants] from among the children of men. For they [intend] evil against You & they [devised a plot,] which they are not able to [carry out.] |
[Matthew 26:3-4 Then, the chief priests, scribes & elders of the people, assembled together, to the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas & consulted [how] they might take Jesus by [trickery] & kill Him.] |
Therefore, when You shall make Your arrows ready upon Your [bow] strings, against them, shall make them [return] back. Lord, be exalted in Your Own strength: so we will sing & praise Your power. |
