A Psalm for Solomon. |
Psalm 72:1-20 Book# 2 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
God, give the king Your [justice] & Your righteousness to the king's son. He shall judge Your people with righteousness & the poor with [justice.] [Through] righteousness, the mountains & the hills shall bring peace to the people. |
[* Isaiah 11:4 But He will judge the poor with Righteousness & will [repay] the meek of the earth with equity. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth & with the breath of His lips, He shall slay the wicked.] |
* He shall judge the poor of the people, He shall save the children of the needy & shall break the oppressor [into] pieces. [Revelation 7:15-17 Therefore, they are before the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. And He, [Who] sits on the throne shall dwell among them. |
They shall no [longer] hunger [or] thirst any more. Neither shall the sun, nor heat [burn] them. For the Lamb, [Who] is in the [middle] of the throne, shall feed them & shall lead them into Living Fountains of waters. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.] |
* They shall fear [respect] You as long as the sun & moon endure, throughout all generations. [Psalm 89:36 His seed shall endure forever & his throne, [like] the sun before Me.] |
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass & [like] showers that water the earth. In His days the righteous shall flourish. As long as the moon endures, so [shall an] abundance of peace. He shall also have [power] from sea to sea & from river to river, unto the ends of the earth. |
[Exodus 23:31-32 And I will [put] your [boundaries] from the Red Sea, even to the sea of the Philistines & from the desert unto the river. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land int your hand. And you shall drive them out before you. You shall not make [any] covenant [contract] with them, nor with their gods.] |
* [Those who] dwell in the wilderness, shall bow before Him & His enemies shall lick the dust. [Micah 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a [snake] & they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth. They shall be afraid of the Lord our God & shall] be [fearful,] because of You.] |
The kings of Tarshish & the [coastal islands] shall bring presents & the kings of Sheba & Seba shall offer gifts. [Yes,] all the kings shall fall down before [the king] & all the nations shall serve him. |
[Isaiah 49:23 And kings shall be your [foster] fathers & their queens your [foster] mothers. They shall bow down to you with their face toward the [ground] & lick up the dust [off] your feet. And you shall know that I Am the Lord: for [those who] wait for Me, shall not be ashamed.] |
For [the king] shall deliver the needy when he cries [out] & also the poor & him, [who] has no helper. He shall spare the poor & needy & shall save the [lives] of the needy. He shall redeem their [life] from deceit & violence. And precious shall their blood be in his sight. |
[1 Samuel 26:21 Then, Saul said, I have sinned. Return, my son, David. For I will no [longer] do harm [to] you, because my [life] was precious in your eyes this day. [Look,] I have played the fool & have erred exceedingly.] |
And he shall live & the gold of Sheba shall be given to [the king.] Also, prayer shall be made for [the king] continually. And He shall be praised daily. Upon the tops of the mountains, there shall be a handful of [grain] in the earth. [Its] fruit, shall shake like Lebanon. And [those] of the city shall flourish like [the] grass of the earth. |
* His Name shall endure forever. His Name shall be continued, as long as the sun & men shall be blessed in Him. All nations shall call Him blessed. [* Mark 11:7-9 And they brought the colt to Jesus & [threw] their garments on him & He sat on him. |
And many spread their garments in the [road] & others cut down branches off the trees & [spread] them out in the [road.] And [those who] went [in front] & [those who] followed, cried [out,] saying, Blessed is He, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord.] |
Blessed [is] the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things. [Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul & [don't] forget all His benefits. Who forgives all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; Who crowns you with loving kindness & tender mercies.] |
And blessed be His glorious Name forever & let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen & Amen. The prayers of David, the son of Jesse, are ended. |
