A Prayer of the Afflicted, When He is Overwhelmed, & [Pours] Out His Complaint Before the Lord.

O Lord, hear My prayer, & let My [out] cry come to You. [Don't] hide Your face from Me [on] the day when I'm in trouble. [Lean] Your ear to Me: [on] the day when I call, answer Me speedily.  [Luke 22:41-44 And when He was at the place, He said to them, Pray that you [don't] enter into temptation. And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's [throw,] & kneeled down, & prayed, saying, Father, if You [are] willing, remove this cup from Me, nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done. And there appeared an Angel to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly; & His sweat was [like] it were [large] drops of blood falling down to the ground.]

For My days [have disappeared] like smoke & My bones are burned [like in a fireplace.] [James 4:14 [Since] you [don't] know what shall be [tomorrow,] what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time & then vanishes away.]

My heart is [struck down,] & withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread, [a.k.a. food.] [Isaiah 40:6-8 The voice said, Cry [out.] And He said, What shall I cry [out?] All flesh is grass, & all the goodliness, [a.k.a. beauty, of it] is [like] the flower of the field. The grass [withers,] & the flower [fades,] because the [Holy] Spirit of the Lord [blows] upon it. Surely, the people [are] grass. The grass [withers,] the flower [fades,] but the Word of our God shall stand forever.]

[Because] of the [sound] of My groaning, My bones [cling] to My skin. I am like a pelican of the wilderness, & I'm like an owl of the desert. I watch, & [I'm like] a sparrow alone upon the housetop. [*Isaiah 53:2-3 For He shall grow up before Him, [like] a tender plant, & [like] a root out of dry ground. He [has] no [pleasant] form, nor [attractiveness.] And when we shall see Him, there is no beauty, that we should desire Him. *He is despised & rejected [by] men. A Man of sorrows, & acquainted with grief. And we hid, [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised, & we [didn't hold] Him [in high regard.]

[My] enemies [ridiculed] Me all day, & [those who] are mad against Me, [have] sworn against Me. [Matthew 26:3-5 Then the chief priests, scribes, & elders of the people assembled together, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, & consulted, [so] that they might take Jesus by [trickery,] & kill Him. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there [is] an uproar among the people.]

For I have eaten ashes like bread, & mingled, [a.k.a. mixed,] My drink with weeping, because of Your indignation, [a.k.a. anger aroused by injustice,] & Your [fury.]  [2 Kings 21:2-7 And [Manasseh] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord, [according to] the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before, [a.k.a. prior to,] the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. For [Manasseh] built up the high places again [that] Hezekiah, his father, had destroyed. And he [put] up altars for Baal, & made a grove, [like] king Ahab of Israel did, & worshiped all the host, [a.k.a. stars & constellations,] of heaven, & served them.] And [Manasseh] built altars in the [Lord's] house, [about] which the Lord said, I will put My Name in Jerusalem. And [Manasseh] built altars for all the host of heaven in the 2 courts of the [Lord's] house. And [Manasseh] made his son pass through the fire, & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology, & horoscopes,] & used enchantments, [a.k.a. witchcraft,] & dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. those who contact the dead,] & wizards. [Manasseh brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger. And [Manasseh put from] the grove, a [carved] image, that he had made, [into] the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said to David, & to his son, Solomon, I will put My Name forever, in this house, & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.]

For You [have] lifted Me up, & [thrown] Me down. [Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely, He [has] borne our griefs, & carried our sorrows. [Still,] we [didn't respect] Him, [suffering, struck,] & afflicted [by] God. *But He was wounded for our [sins.]

He was bruised for our iniquities, & the [discipline] for our [peace] was upon Him. And with His stripes, we are healed. *All we like sheep, have gone astray. We have [each] turned to his own [ways,] & the Lord [has] laid on Him the [sin] of us all.]

My days are like a shadow that [decreases,] & I'm withered like grass. But You, O Lord, shall endure forever, & [the] remembrance [of] You to all generations.       [1 Corinthians 11:23-26 For I have received from the Lord [what] I also delivered to you, That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread, & when He had given thanks, He [broke] it, & said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.

After the same manner, He also took the cup, & when he had [eaten, said,] This cup is the New Testament in My blood. Do this, as [often] as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you eat this bread, & drink this cup, you do [proclaim] the Lord's death [until] He [comes.]

You [shall] arise & have mercy upon Zion, & for the [preappointed] time [has] come to favor her. For Your servants take pleasure in her [rocks,] & [favor its dirt.] [Nehemiah 4:1-2 But it [happened,] that when Sanballat heard that we [rebuilt] the wall, he was [angry,] & [became indignant,] & mocked the Jews.

And he [spoke] before his brethren & the army of Samaria, & said, What [are] these feeble Jews [doing?] Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they [complete it?]  Will they revive the stones, [a.k.a. rocks,] out of the rubbish heaps, which are burned?]

So the heathen, all the kings of the earth,shall fear, [a.k.a. respect,] the Name of the Lord, & Your glory. When the Lord shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory. He will [pay attention] to the prayer of the destitute, & not despise their prayer.

[Nehemiah 1:6-9 Let Your ear now be attentive, & Your eyes open, [so] You [may] hear the prayer of Your servant, which I pray before You now, day & night, for the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, Your servants, and confess the sins of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, which we have sinned against You.

Both my father's house & I have sinned. We have dealt very corruptly against You, & haven't kept the commandments, nor [mandates,] nor the judgments, which You [commanded] Your servant, Moses.

I [beg] You, remember the Word that You commanded Your servant, Moses, saying, If you transgress, I will scatter you [around] among the nations. But if you [return] to Me, & keep My commandments, & do them, [even] though there were [some] of you cast out [into the furthest parts under] heaven, [still] I will gather them from [there,] & will bring them [into] the place that I have chosen to [put] My Name there.]

This shall be written for the [generations] to come, & the people [who] shall be created shall praise the Lord. For He [has] looked down from the [heights] of His sanctuary.

From heaven the Lord [saw] the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to [loosen, a.k.a. free,] those [who] are [scheduled for] death; & to declare the Name of the Lord in Zion, & His praise in Jerusalem.

[*Isaiah 49:8-10 The Lord [says this,] In an acceptable time, I have heard You. And [on the] day of Salvation, I have helped You, & I will [safeguard] You, & give You for a covenant, [a.k.a. contract, for] the people, to establish the earth, & to cause the desolate heritages [to be] inherited. *[So,] that You may say to the prisoners, Go [out,] & to those in darkness, [Show] yourselves.

They shall feed, [a.k.a. eat, by] the [roads,] & their pastures shall be in all high places. *They shall not hunger, nor thirst. Neither shall the heat nor the sun [scorch] them: for He, [Who has] mercy on them, shall lead them, & even He shall guide them by the springs of water.]

When the people, & the kingdoms, are gathered together, to serve the Lord. He weakened My strength in the [road,] & shortened My days. I said, O My God, [don't] take Me away in the [middle of My life.] [Mark 14:35-36 And [Jesus Christ] went forward a little, & fell on the ground, & prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. *And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible [for] You. Take away this cup from Me; Nevertheless, not what I will, [a.k.a. want,] but what You [want.]

Your years are throughout all generations. *Of [ancient times,] You laid the foundation of the earth; & the heavens are the work of Your hands. [Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning, God created the heaven & the earth. And the earth was without form, & [empty.] And darkness was upon the [surface] of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the [surface] of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, & there was light.]

They shall perish, but You shall endure. [Yes,] all of them shall [grow] old like a garment. You [shall] change them [like a robe,] & they shall be changed. [Revelation 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven & a new earth. For the 1st heaven & the 1st earth [had] passed away. And there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared [like] a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, [Look,] the Tabernacle of God is with men. And He will [live] with them, & they shall be His people, & God, Himself, shall be with them, & be their God.]

But You [are] the same, & Your years shall have no end. The children of Your servants shall continue, & their seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] shall be established before You.

[Revelation 22:16-17 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I Am the Root, & the Offspring of David, & the Bright Morning Star. And the [Holy] Spirit & the bride say, Come. And let him [who hears] say, Come. And let him [who] is [thirsty,] come. And [whoever is willing,] let him take the Water of Life freely.]
