About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah 40:1-31 The Lord Your God Says, Comfort My People

The Lord Your God Says, Comfort My  People

Isaiah 40:1-31                               The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

Your God says, You [comforters] comfort My people. You, speak [pleasantly] to Jerusalem & cry [out] to her, that her warfare is [ended] & that her [sin] is pardoned, [because] she has received double for all her sins [from] the Lord's hand.

[Isaiah 61:7-8 You shall have double for your shame. And for confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion [of the inheritance of the Promised Land.] Therefore, in their land they shall possess the double & everlasting joy shall be to them.]

*The voice of him, [who] cries [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord & make a straight highway in the desert for our God. [Luke 3:3-4 And he, [a.k.a. John the Baptist,] came into all the country [around] Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance, for the remission of sins.

As it is written in the book of Isaiah, the [prophet's] words, saying, The voice of one crying [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord & make His paths straight.]

Every valley shall be [elevated] & every hill shall be made low & the crooked [places] shall be made straight & the rough places, [smooth.] And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed & all [humans] shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

The voice said, Cry [out] & he said, What shall I cry [out?] All flesh is grass & all [its beauty of it] is [like] a flower of the field. The grass withers & the flower fades, because the Spirit of the Lord blows upon it. Surely, the people [are like] grass. The grass withers & the flower fades: but the Word of our God shall stand forever.

O Zion, [who brings] good [news,] get [yourself] up into the high mountain. O Jerusalem, [who brings] good [news,] lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up & [don't] be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, [Look,] your God! [See,] the Lord God will come with [a] strong hand & His arm shall rule for Him.

[Watch,] His reward is with Him & His work [is] before Him. *He shall feed his flock like a Shepherd. He shall gather the lambs with His arm & carry them [against] His [chest] & shall gently lead those, that are with young [sheep.] [John 10:11 I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.]

Who has measured the waters in the hollow [place] of His hand & [measured] out heaven with the span & [understood the amount of dirt] of the earth, in a measure & weighed [out] the mountains in scales & the hills in a balance.

Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or [has been] His counselor & has taught Him? [Romans 11:33 O the depth of the [richness of] both: the wisdom & knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments & His ways are [beyond] finding out!]

With whom, [did] He [take] counsel & who instructed Him & taught Him in the path of [justice] & taught Him knowledge & [showed] Him the way of understanding? [See,] the nations are [like] [one] drop [of water] in a bucket & are [considered like] small dust [in] the [scales.]

[Look,] He [lifts] up the [coastal islands like] [it's] a very [small] thing. And  Lebanon isn't [enough] to burn [like wood,] nor [are there enough animals from there] for a burnt offering. All nations before [God] are [like] nothing & they are considered to Him, [like] vanity & less than nothing.

Then, to whom will you [say is similar to] God? Or what [image] will you compare to Him? [Acts 17:29-30 [Since, like] we are the offspring of God, then we [shouldn't] think that [God's divine nature] is [similar] to gold, silver, [or carved rock, artistically carved by] man's devices. And God winked at the times of this ignorance; but now commands all men everywhere to repent.]

The workmen melt a [molded] image & the goldsmith spreads over it with gold & casts silver chains. [Psalm 115:4-8 Their idols are silver & gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they [don't] speak. They have eyes, but they [don't] see. They have ears, but they [don't] hear.

They have noses, but they [don't] smell. They have hands, but they [don't touch.] They have feet, but they [don't] walk. Neither [do] they speak through their throat. [Those who] make them are [similar] to them, so is everyone [who] trusts in them.]

He, [who] is so [poor] that he [doesn't] have an [offering] chooses a tree that won't rot. He seeks a [skillful] workman [for himself] to prepare a [carved] image, [so] that it [can't] be moved.] Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? Hasn't it been told [to] you from the beginning?

Haven't you underwood from the [creation] of the earth? [Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning, God created the heaven & the earth. And the earth was without form & void. And darkness was upon the [surface] of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the [surface] of the waters. And God said, let there be light & there was light.]

It is He, [Who] stretches out the heavens [like] a curtain & spreads them out, [like] a tent to dwell in & [calms] the waters upon the circle, [a.k.a. equator] of the earth. And [its] inhabitants [of it] are [like] grasshoppers. He, [Who] makes the judges of the earth [like] vanity & brings the princes to nothing.

[Yes,] they shall not be planted & shall not be sown. [Yes,] their [tree stump] shall not take root in the earth & He shall also blow upon them & they shall wither. And the [tornado] shall take them away [like] stubble. To whom then, will you [compare] Me [to,] or shall I be equal? says the Holy One.

Lift your eyes on high & [see] Who has created these things & [Who] brings out their [stars & constellations] [without] number. He calls them all by names, [through] the greatness of His might, for He is strong in power, not one fails..

O Jacob, Why [do] you say & speak, O Israel, [saying,] My [ways] are [hidden] from the Lord & my [justice] is [overlooked by] my God.

[Isaiah 54:7-8 For a [short time,] I have [abandoned] you; but I will gather you with great mercy. In a little [anger] I hid My face from you for a moment; but I will have mercy on you with everlasting kindness, says the Lord your Redeemer.]

Haven't you known? Haven't you heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, [doesn't]  faint, neither is [He] [tired.] There is no searching [the limits] of His understanding. He gives power to the [weak] & He increases strength to [those who] have no might.

Even the youths shall be [faint-hearted] & [tired] & the young men shall [totally] fall. But [those who] wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall [lift] up with wings, [like] eagles. They shall run & not be [tired] & they shall walk & not faint. [Psalm 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.]
