About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 37:1-21 The Chaldeans are Going to Come Again, to Attack & Burn the City

The Chaldeans are Going to Come Again, to Attack & Burn the City

Jeremiah 37:1-21                              The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

And king Zedekiah, [Josiah's] son, [ruled] instead of  Coniah, [Jehoiakim's] son, whom Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, made king in the land of Judah. But neither [did Zedekiah,] his servants nor his people of the land, [paid attention] to the Words of the Lord, [that] He [spoke] by the prophet, Jeremiah.

[2 Kings 24:19-20 And [Zedekiah] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. For through the [Lord's] anger, it [happened] in Jerusalem & Judah, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon, until He cast them out from His presence.]

And king Zedekiah sent Jehucal, [Shelemiah's] son & Zephaniah, [Maaseiah's] son, the priest to the prophet, Jeremiah, saying, Now pray for us to the Lord our God. Now, Jeremiah came in & went out among the people: for they hadn't put him into prison, [yet.]

Then, Pharaoh's army [had] come out of Egypt & when the Chaldeans that [also attacked] Jerusalem, heard [news] of them, they [left] from Jerusalem. Then, the Word of the Lord came to the prophet, Jeremiah, saying, The Lord, the God of Israel of Israel says [this;] You shall say [this] to [Judah's] king, [who] sent you to Me to [inquire by] Me, [See,] Pharaoh's army, [that has] come [out] to help you, shall return [back] to Egypt into their own land.

And the Chaldeans shall come again & fight against this city, [capture] it & burn it with fire. [Jeremiah 32:21-23 And [You, Lord God] have brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with signs & wonders, [a.k.a. miracles,] & with a strong hand & [an outstretched] arm, with great terror.

And [You have given them this land, [that] You [swore] to their [forefathers] to give them, a land flowing with milk & honey. And they came in & possessed it; but they [didn't obey] Your Law, that You commanded them to do. Therefore, You have caused all this [calamity] to come upon them.]

The Lord says [this; Don't] deceive yourselves, saying, Surely, the Chaldeans shall depart from us: for they [won't] depart. For [if] you had [killed] the whole [Chaldean] army, [who] fight against you & there [only] remained wounded men among them, [still] every man in his tent, would rise up & burn this city with fire.

And it [happened,] that when the [Chaldean] army [had] broken up from Jerusalem, for fear of Pharaoh's army, then, Jeremiah went out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to [take a portion of land there for] himself, [among] the midst of the people.

And when [Jeremiah] was in [Benjamin's] gate, a captain of the [division] was there, whose name was Irijah, [Shelemiah's] son, [who was] the son of Hananiah. And he [seized] Jeremiah, the prophet, saying, You [are deserting] to the Chaldeans. Then, Jeremiah said, It is false. [I'm not defecting] to the Chaldeans.

But [Irijah didn't pay attention to] him. So, Irijah took Jermiah & brought him to the princes. The princes were [furious] with Jeremiah [for this reason] & [struck] him & put him in prison in the house of Johnathan, the scribe. For they had made [it] the prison.

When Jeremiah [had] entered into the dungeon & into the [cell,] Jeremiah remained there many days. Then, king Zedekiah sent & took [Jeremiah] out. And the king secretly asked him in his house & said, Is there any Word from the Lord?

And Jeremiah said, There is. For He said, you shall be delivered into the hand of [Babylon's] king. [Also,] Jeremiah said to king Zedekiah, What have I [done to offend] you, or against your servants, or this people, that you have put me in prison?

Where are your prophets now, [who] prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? Therefore, I pray [that] you now hear, O my lord, the king: let my [petition] be accepted before you, [so] that you [don't make] me return to the house of Johnathan, the scribe, lest I die there.

Then, king Zedekiah commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the [courtyard] of the prison. And that they should give [Jeremiah] a daily piece of bread [from] the baker's street, until all the bread in the city [was used up.] Jeremiah remained [like this] in the courtyard of the prison.
