About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 44:1-30 After Being Warned by the Prophets, They Continued to Worship false gods

After Being Warned by the Prophets, They Continued to Worship false gods

Jeremiah 44:1-30                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Word that came to Jeremiah [about] all the Jews, [who] dwell in the land of Egypt, [who live] in the land of: Migdol, Tahpanhes, Noph & the country of Pathros, saying, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this:] You have seen all the [calamity] that I have brought upon Jerusalem & all the cities of Judah.

And [see,] this day they are a desolation & no man [lives in them.] Because of their wickedness, in that they: went to burn incense & to serve other gods, whom they, [nor their forefathers] knew, which they have committed to provoke Me to anger.

[Jeremiah 19:4-5 Because they have [abandoned] Me & have [destroyed the affections] of this place & have burned incense in it to other gods, whom neither they, nor their [forefathers,] nor [Judah's] kings have known & have filled this place with the [bloodshed] of innocents.

They have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire, for burnt offerings to Baal, [that] I [didn't] command, nor [spoke] it, & neither [did] it come into My mind.]

[However,] I sent all My servants, the prophets, to you, rising early [to warn] & sending them, saying, Oh, don't [do] this abominable thing that I hate. But they [didn't pay attention,] nor [did they lean] their ear [to hear] & to turn [away] from their wickedness & to [not] burn incense to other gods.

[For this reason,] My fury & [My] anger was poured [out] & [grew] in [Judah's] cities & in the streets of Jerusalem. And they are [ruined] & desolate, [like it is] this day.

Therefore, the Lord God of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this] now; [Why did] you commit this great [sin] against your [lives,] to cut [yourselves] off from: man, woman, child & [nursing infants, from] Judah, to leave you none to remain?

In that, you provoke Me to [anger] with the works [made by] your hands & pouring incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, [where] you [have] gone to [live, so] that you might cut yourselves off & you might be a curse & a [disgrace] among the nations of the earth?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of: your [forefathers; Judah's] kings & their wives. And your own wickedness & the wickedness of your wives [that] they have committed in the land of Judah & in the streets of Jerusalem? They aren't humbled, even [until] this day.

Neither have they feared [respected,] nor [followed] in My Law, nor in My [mandates,] that I have [put] before you & your [forefathers.] Therefore, the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this; Watch,] I will [put] My face against you for [catastrophe] & to cut off all Judah.

And I will take [those who remain from] Judah, [who] have [focused] their faces to go into the land of Egypt to [stay] there & they all shall be consumed & fall in the land of Egypt. They shall even be consumed by: the sword; famine & they shall die, from the [powerless] to the [powerful,] by the sword & famine.

And they shall be [detestable;] an astonishment; a curse & a [disgrace.] For I will punish [those who live] in the land of Egypt, [like] I have punished Jerusalem, by the: sword, famine & pestilence.

So, that none of [those remaining from] Judah, [who have] gone into the land of Egypt to [stay] there, shall escape or remain. [Except for those who want to] return into the land of Judah & [those who] have a desire to return & [live] there. For none shall return, but [those who] shall escape.

Then, all the men, [who] knew: that their wives had burned incense to other gods & all the [large] multitude of women, [who] stood by [& watched this,] even all the people, [who lived] in Pathros, in the land of Egypt, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the Word that you have spoken to us in the Name of the Lord, we won't [pay attention] to you.

But we will [definitely] do, [whatever we say,] [whether] to burn incense to the queen of heaven [or] to pour out drink offerings to her, [like] we, our [forefathers,] kings & our princes have done in the cities of Judah & in the streets of Jerusalem.

For then, we had plenty of [food] & were well & saw no [disaster.] But since we [stopped burning] incense to the queen of heaven & [pouring] out drink offerings to her, we have [lacked] all things & have been consumed by: the sword & famine.

And without [the approval of] our men, we burned incense to the queen of heaven; poured out drink offerings to her; & we [made] her cakes & [poured] out drink offerings to worship her.

[Jeremiah 7:18-20 The children gather wood & the fathers [start] the fire & the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven & to pour out drink offerings to other gods, [so] that they may provoke Me to anger. The Lord says; Do they provoke Me to anger?

Don't they provoke themselves to [shame] on their own faces? The Lord God says [this;] Therefore, [watch, My] anger & My fury shall be poured out upon this: place; man; [animals;] trees of the field; & the fruit [produced by] the ground & it shall burn & shall not be [put out.]

Then, Jeremiah said to: all the people: to the men; women; & to all the people [who] had given him an answer, [Jeremiah said,] [Doesn't] the Lord remember the incense that you, your [forefathers,] your kings & your princes & the people of the land burned in [Judah's] cities & in the streets of Jerusalem? [Doesn't] it come to His mind?

[To the point] that the Lord could no longer [put up with it,] because of the evil of your [actions] & the abominations [that] you have committed. Therefore, your land is a desolation, an astonishment, & a curse, without an inhabitant, [like it is] this day.

Therefore, this [calamity has] happened to you, [like it is] this day, because you have burned incense & you have sinned against the Lord & haven't obeyed the voice of the Lord, nor [followed] in; His Law, His [mandates,] nor His Testimonies.

[Also,] Jeremiah said to all the people; to all the women, Hear the Word of the Lord, all Judah, [who] are in the land of Egypt. The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this;] You & your wives have both spoken with your mouths & fulfilled [your vows] with your [hands,] saying, We will surely [carry out] our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven & to pour out drink offerings to her.

You will surely accomplish & [carry out] your vows. Therefore, all Judah, [who live] in the land of Egypt, hear the Word of the Lord; [Look,] I have sworn by My Great Name, says the Lord, that My Name shall no [longer] be [sworn by] the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord God lives.

[Hebrews 6:13-14 When God promised to Abraham, because [God] couldn't swear by [anything] greater, He [swore] by Himself, saying, Surely, in blessing, I will bless you & in multiplying, I will multiply you.]

[See,] I will watch over them for [adversity] & not for good. And all the men of Judah, [who] are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword & by famine, until there [is] an end of them. [Still,] a small number, [who shall] escape the sword, shall return out of the land of Egypt, into the land of Judah.

And all [those remaining from] Judah, [who have] gone into the land of Egypt to [stay] there, shall know Whose Words shall stand, Mine, or theirs. [Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say to you, Seek to [those who] have familiar spirits, [a.k.a. talking to the dead,] & to wizards, [who whisper] & mutter, shouldn't a people seek to their God? For the Living [not] to the dead?]

And the Lord says, This shall be a sign to you, that I will punish you in this place, [so] that you may know that My Words shall surely stand against you for [adversity.] [Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart, to all generations.]

The Lord says [this; Look,] I will give Pharaoh Hophra, [Egypt's] king, into the hand of, [a.k.a. into the control of:] his enemies & into the hand of [those who] seek his life. [Like] I gave Zedekiah, [Judah's] king into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, his enemy, [who] sought his life.

[2 Kings 25:5-7 And the army of the Chaldees, [a.k.a. Chaldeans & Babylonians,] pursued after king [Zedekiah] & overtook him in the Plains of Jericho. And all his army were scattered from him. So, they [captured] the king & brought him to [Babylon's] king, [in] Riblah. And they [pronounced] judgment upon him. And they [killed] [Zedekiah's] sons [in front of] his eyes & they put out [Zedekiah's] eyes & bought him with brass [chains] & carried him to Babylon.]
