About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Amos 1:1-15 The Vision of Amos 2 Years Before the Earthquake

The Vision of Amos 2 Years Before the Earthquake

Amos 1:1-15                        The Book of Amos [in Smaller Chunks]

The words of Amos, who was among the [herdsmen, a.k.a. sheep herders, from] Tekoa, [that] he saw [about] Israel [during] the days of Uzziah, [Judah's] king, & [during] the days of Jeroboam, [Joash's] son, [Israel's] king, 2 years before the earthquake.

And [Amos] said, The Lord will roar from Zion, & utter His voice from Jerusalem. And the [places where] the shepherds [reside,] shall mourn, & the top of Carmel shall wither.

[Joel 3:16 Also, the Lord shall roar out of Zion, & utter His voice from Jerusalem. And the heavens & earth shall shake. But the Lord will be the hope of His people & the strength of the children [people] of Israel.]

The Lord said [this,] For 3 [sins] of Damascus, & for 4, I won't [withdraw] the punishment [of it,] because they have threshed Gilead, with iron threshing [tools.] [2 Kings 8:11-13 And [Elisha fixed his gaze,] until he was ashamed & the man of God wept. And Hazael said, Why [do you] weep, my lord? And [Elisha] answered, Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel.

You will set their strongholds on fire, & you will [strike down] their young men with the sword, & will dash their children & rip up their [pregnant] women. And Hazael said, But what, is your servant a dog, that he should do this [major] thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord has [shown] me that you shall be king over Syria.]

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, [that] shall devour the palaces of Ben Hadad. [Jeremiah 49:24-27 Damascus [has grown] feeble & turns herself to flee & fear has seized her. Anguish & sorrows have taken her, [like] a woman in [labor.] How the city of praise, isn't left, the city of My joy!

Therefore, her young men shall fall in her streets, & all the men of war shall be cut off [on] that day, says the Lord of Hosts. And I will kindle a fire [on] the wall of Damascus, & it shall consume the palaces of Ben Hadad.]

I will also break the bar of [the gate of] Damascus, & cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven, & him, [who] holds the scepter from the house of Eden. And the people of Syria shall go into captivity [all the way] to Kir, says the Lord.

The Lord says [this;] For 3 [sins] of Gaza, & for 4, I won't [withdraw] the punishment [of it;] because they carried away captive, [all those from] captivity, to deliver them to Edom. [Jeremiah 25:4-7 And the Lord has sent to you all His servants, the prophets, rising early [to warn,] & sending them.

But you haven't [paid attention,] nor [leaned] your ear to hear. They said, Everyone [of] you [return] now from his evil [ways,] & the from your evil [actions,] & [live] in the land that the Lord has given to you & to your [forefathers] forever & ever.

And [don't] go after other gods to serve them, & worship them. And [don't] provoke Me to anger with the works [made by] your hands, & I won't [harm] you. The Lord says, [Still,] you haven't [paid attention] to Me, [so] that you might provoke Me to anger with the works [made by] your hands, to your own [harm.]

But I will send a fire on the Wall of Gaza, [that] shall devour [its] palaces. And I will cut off the [residents] from Ashdod, & him [who] holds the scepter from Ashkelon. And I will [return My] hand against Ekron: & the [rest] of the Philistines shall perish, says the Lord God.

[1 Chronicles 10:8-10 And it [happened] on the [next day,] when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found [king] Saul & his sons, fallen on Mount Gilboa.

And when they had stripped him, they took [Saul's] head, & his armor, & sent [it] into the land of the Philistines [& all around it,] to carry [news] to their idols, & to the people. And they put [Saul's] armor in the house of their gods, & fastened [Saul's] head in the temple of Dagon.]

The Lord God says [this;] For 3 [sins] of Tyrus, [a.k.a. Tyre,] & for 4, I won't [withdraw] the punishment [of it;] because they delivered up [all those from] captivity to Edom & [didn't remember] the covenant [contract] of [brethren.]

[1 Kings 5:10-12 So, Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees & fir trees according to all his desire. And Solomon gave Hiram 20,000 measures, [a.k.a. Kor,] of wheat to his household, for food & 20 measures of pure oil.

Solomon gave [this] to Hiram year by year. And the Lord gave Solomon wisdom, [like] He promised him. And there was peace between Hiram & Solomon. And [they both] made a league, [a.k.a. an alliance,] together.]

But I will send a fire on the Wall of Tyrus, [that] shall devour the palaces [of it.] [Ezekiel 28:3-7 [Look,] you are wiser than Daniel, & there is no secret that they can hide from you. With your wisdom & your understanding, you [have] gotten [yourself:] riches, gold, & silver [to put] into your [treasury.]

By your great wisdom & your [marketplace sales,] you increased your riches & your heart is lifted up, [a.k.a. elevated,] because of your riches. Therefore, the Lord God says [this;] Because you [have put] your heart [like] the heart of God; therefore, [look,] I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations. And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. And they shall defile your brightness, [a.k.a. intelligence.]

The Lord says [this;] For 3 [sins] of Edom, & for 4, I won't [withdraw] the punishment [of it;] because he [pursued] his brother with the sword, & did [throw away,] all pity. And his anger perpetually [tore] & he kept his [fury] forever.

[Isaiah 34:5-6 For My sword shall be [cleansed] in heaven & [watch;] it shall come down upon Idumea & upon the people of My curse, [for] judgment. The sword of the Lord is filled with [bloodshed.]

It is made [overflowing] with [fat] & the blood of lambs & goats, with the fat of [ram's] kidneys: for the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, & a [large] slaughter in the land of Idumea, [a.k.a. Edom.]

But I will send a fire upon Teman, [that] shall devour the palaces of Bozrah. The Lord says [this;] For 3 [sins] of the children [people] of Ammon, & for 4, I won't [withdraw] the punishment [of it;] because they have ripped up the [pregnant] women of Gilead, [so] that they might enlarge their [borders.]

[Isaiah 13:15-16 Everyone, [who] is found, shall be thrust through [by the sword.] And everyone, [who has] joined [with] them, shall fall by the sword. Also, their children shall be dashed to pieces [in front of] their eyes. Their houses shall be [plundered] & their wives ravished.]

But I will kindle a fire [on] the Wall of Rabbah, & it shall devour the palaces [of it,] with shouting [on] the day of battle, with a [storm on] the day of the whirlwind. And their king shall go into captivity, he & his princes together, says the Lord.

[Jeremiah 49:3 Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai, is [plundered.] Cry [out,] you daughters of Rabbah, [strap yourselves] with sackcloth. [Grieve,] & run [back & forth] by the hedges; for their king, his priests, & his princes, shall go into captivity together.]
