About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Joel 1:1-20 Joel Asks Them if They've Ever Seen a Plague Like This

Joel Asks Them if They've Ever Seen a Plague Like This

Joel 1:1-20           The Book of Joel [in Smaller Chunks]

The Word of the Lord that came to Joel, [Pethuel's] son. You old men & all you inhabitants of the land, Hear this. Has this been [during] your days, or even [during] the days of you [forefathers?] You, tell your children of it, & let your children tell their children, & their children [tell] another generation.

[Exodus 10:2 And that you may tell in the ears of your son, & [ears] of your son's son, what things I have [brought about] in Egypt. And My signs, [a.k.a. miracles,] that I have done among them; [so] that you may know, [by this,] that I Am the Lord.]

[What] the palmer-worm has left, the locust [have] eaten. And [what] the locust has left, the canker-worm has eaten. And [what] the canker-worm has left, the caterpillar has eaten. Awake, you drunkards, & weep.

And all you drinkers of wine, howl, [for] the new wine; [because it's taken away] from your mouth. For a nation [has] come up upon My land, & [are] strong & without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion & he has the cheek teeth, [a.k.a. molars,] of a [large] lion.

[Revelation 9:3-6 And out of the smoke, there came locusts upon the earth. And power was given to them, [like] the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them, that they shouldn't [harm] the grass of the earth & neither any green thing, [or] tree; but only those men, [who don't] have the seal of God in their foreheads.

And to [those] it was given that they shouldn't kill them, but that they should be tormented 5 months. And their torment was [like] the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man. And in those days, men shall seek death, & shall not find it & shall desire to die, & death shall [escape] them.]

He has [ruined] my vine, & he has [eaten off the] bark of my fig tree. [Its] branches are made white, & he has [totally] made it bare, & [thrown] it away. [Amos 4:9 I have [struck] you with [blight] & mildew. When your: gardens; vineyards; fig trees; & olive trees increased, the palmer-worm devoured them. [Still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord.]

[Grieve] like a virgin [clothed] in sackcloth, for the husband of her youth. The meat/grain [offerings] & drink [offerings are] cut off from the [Lord's] house. The priests, the Lord's ministers mourn.

[Jeremiah 2:28 But where are your gods that you have made [yourselves?] Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble. For, your gods, O Judah, [are] according to the number of your cities.]

The field is [ruined] & the land mourns. For the [grain] is [ruined] & the [grapes for the] new wine, [have] dried up, & the oil [wastes away.] Because the harvest of the field has perished, O you [farmers,] be ashamed. O you [vineyard keepers,] howl; for the wheat & barley.

[Jeremiah 14:3-4 And their nobles have sent their [young] ones to the waters. They came to the pits, [a.k.a. cisterns, or wells,] & found no waters & they returned with their vessels empty.

They were ashamed & [confused,] & covered their heads. Because the ground is [parched,] for there was no rain [on] the earth, the [men who plow] were ashamed, & they covered their heads.]

The joy [has] withered away from the sons of men, because the vine [has] dried up, & the fig tree, [becomes weak,] & also the: pomegranate tree; palm tree; & the apple tree & even all the trees of the field are withered.

[Habakkuk 3:17-18 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, & neither shall fruit be on the vines, & the [work trampling] the [olives] shall fail, & the fields shall [produce] no [food.] The [flocks] shall be cut off from the fold, & there shall be no herd in the stalls. [Still,] I will rejoice in the Lord. I will [have] joy in the God of my Salvation.]

[Clothe] yourselves & come, lie all night in sackcloth, you priests. Howl, you ministers of the altar & you ministers of my God. For the meat/grain offering & drink offering [are withheld] from the house of your God.

[Jeremiah 14:14-16 Then, the Lord said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My Name & I [didn't] send them, & neither have I commanded them. Neither [did I speak] to them. They prophesy to you a false vision & divination, & a [worthless] thing, & the deceit of their heart.

Therefore, the Lord says [this, about] the prophets, [who] prophesy in My Name, & I [didn't send] them. [Still] they say, Sword & famine shall not be in this land. Those prophets shall be consumed by [the] sword & famine.]

Sanctify a fast [for][yourselves] & call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders & all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, & cry [out] to the Lord. [Unfortunately,] for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand, [a.k.a. nearby.] And it shall come [like] destruction from the Almighty.

[Revelation 6:15-17 And the: kings; great men; rich men; chief captains; the mighty men; every [slave] & every free man of the earth, hid themselves in the dens, & in the rocks of the mountains; & said to the mountains & rocks, Fall on us, & hide us from the face of Him, [Who] sits on the throne, & from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath [has] come. And who shall be able to stand?]

Isn't the [food] cut off [in front] of our eyes, [yes,] the joy & gladness from the house of our God? Under their [dirt clods,] the seed is rotten, & the [storehouses] are [made useless.] The barns [have] broken down, for the [grain has] withered.

How the [animals] do groan! The cattle herds are perplexed, because they have no pastures. [Yes,] the flocks of sheep are [abandoned.] O Lord, I will cry [out] to You, for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness. And the flame has burned all the trees of the field.

[Jeremiah 9:10 I will take up weeping, wailing, & [mourn] for the mountains & the [dwellings] of the wilderness, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them. Neither can men hear the [sound] of [livestock.] Both the [birds] of the heavens & the [animals have] fled, & are gone.]

The [animals] of the field also cry [out] to You. For the rivers of waters are dried up, & the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.] [Psalm 147:9 He gives to the [animals its] food, & to the ravens which cry [out.]
