About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Mark 1:1-45 John the Baptist Fulfills Isaiah's Prophecy About Him

John the Baptist Fulfills Isaiah's Prophecy About Him

Mark 1:1-45          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

[This is:] the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. *[Like] it is written [through] the prophets, [Look,] I send My messenger before Your face, [who] shall prepare Your way before You. The voice of one crying [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, & make His paths straight.

[Isaiah 40:3 *The voice of him, [who] cries [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord , & make straight in the desert, a highway for our God.]

*John [baptized] in the wilderness, & [preached] the baptism of repentance for the [forgiveness] of sins. [Malachi 4:5-6 *[Watch,] I will send you [Elijah,] the prophet, before the coming of the great & dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, & the [hearts] of the children to their fathers, lest I come & [strike] the earth with a curse.]

And all the land of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & [those] of Jerusalem went out to him there, & were all baptized [by] him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins. And John was clothed with camel's hair, & a [leather belt around] his waist.

And [John the Baptist ate] locusts & wild honey; & preached, saying, There comes One mightier than I, after me, the [buckle] of Whose shoes, I am not worthy to stoop down, & [unloosen.] *Indeed, I have baptized you with water, but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.]

[Acts 2:2-4 *And suddenly there came a sound from heaven [like] of a mighty, rushing wind, & it filled all the house, where they were sitting. And there appeared to them cloven tongues, like as of fire, & it sat [above] each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, & began to speak with other tongues, [a.k.a. languages,] as the Spirit gave them utterance.]

And it [happened during] those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, & was baptized [by] John in the Jordan. And [immediately,] [John] saw the heavens opened, & the Spirit like a dove, descending upon [Jesus,] coming up out of the water.

*And there came a voice from heaven, saying, You [are] My beloved Son, in Whom I Am well pleased. [Psalm 2:6-7 Yet, I have set My King upon My Holy Hill of Zion. *I will [proclaim] the decree: the Lord has said to Me, You [are] My Son; this day I have begotten You.]

And immediately the Spirit drove [Jesus] into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness 40 days, tempted, [a.k.a. tested, by] Satan, & was with the wild [animals.] And the Angels ministered to Him. [Matthew 4:8-11 Again, the devil [took Jesus] up into an [exceedingly] high mountain, & [showed] Him all the kingdoms of the world, & the glory of them.

And said to [Jesus,] All these things I will give You, if You [will] fall down & worship me. Then, Jesus [said] to him, You, get [away from] [here,] Satan. For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, & you shall serve only Him. Then, the devil [left Jesus,] & behold, Angels came & ministered to Him.]

Now, after that, John was put in prison, & Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God, & [said,] The time is fulfilled, & the Kingdom of God is at hand: you, repent & believe the gospel.

Now, as [Jesus] walked] by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon & Andrew, his brother,] casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And Jesus said to them, You, come after Me, & I will make you become fishers of men.

And they [abandoned] their nets, [right away,] & followed Him. And when [Jesus] had gone a little father [from there,] he saw James, [Zebedee's] son, & John, his brother who were also mending their nets in the ship. And [immediately Jesus] called them & they went after Him, & left their father, Zebedee, with the hired servants in the ship.

And they went into Capernaum; & [right away, Jesus] entered into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day & taught. And they were astonished at His doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching.] For [Jesus] taught them [like] One, [Who] had authority, & not [like] the scribes.

And in their synagogue, there was a man with an unclean spirit, [a.k.a. a demon,] & he cried out, saying, Let us alone. What [do] we have to do with You, You Jesus of Nazareth? [Have] You come to destroy us? I know You, & Who You [are,] the Holy One of God. *And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, & come out of him.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, & cried [out] with a loud voice, [the demon] came out of him. [Isaiah 29:19-20 *All the meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

For the terrible one is brought to [nothing.] And the scorner, [a.k.a. tormentor,] is consumed. And all, [who] watch for [opportunities for] [sinfulness,] are cut off.]

And they were all amazed, [in] that, they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? What new doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching,] is this? For He commands with authority, & even the unclean spirits, do obey Him. And immediately, [Jesus'] fame spread [around] throughout all the region, [all around] Galilee.

And, [soon after,] they [came] out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon & Andrew, with James & John. But Simon's wife's mother, [a.k.a. mother-in-law,] lay sick, [with] a fever, & they [told Jesus about] her [at once.] And He came & took her by the hand, & lifted her up. And immediately the fever left her, & she ministered to them, [a.k.a. served them.]

And at [evening,] when the sun [had] set, they brought to [Jesus] all, [who] were diseased, & [those, who] were possessed with [demons.] And all the city was gathered together at the door. *And [Jesus] healed many, [who] were sick of [various] diseases, & cast out many [demons,] & [didn't allow the demons] to speak, because they knew Him.

[Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a rabbit,] & the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break [out] in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And rising up [early] in the morning, before [daybreak, Jesus] went out, & departed into a [deserted] place, & prayed there. And Simon, & [those, who] were with him, followed after, [a.k.a. searching for,] Him. And when they had found [Jesus,] they said to Him, All men seek for You.

And [Jesus] said to them, Let's go into the next towns, [so] that I may preach there also. For [that's why] I came. And [Jesus] preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, & cast out [demons.] And a leper came there to [Jesus,] [begging] Him, & kneeling down to Him, [said] to Him, If You [are willing,] You can make me clean.

*And Jesus, moved with compassion, put [out] His hand, & touched him, & said to him, I will. You, be clean. And as soon as He had spoken, the leprosy immediately [left] from him, & he was cleansed.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits; Who forgives all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; & Who crowns you with living kindness & tender mercies.]

And [Jesus firmly] charged him, & [soon] sent him away, [saying] to him, See [that] you say nothing to any man. But go [on] your way, & [show] yourself to the priest, & offer those things, [that] Moses commanded, for your cleansing, for a testimony to them.

But he went out & began to [greatly publicize] it, & to [spread] the matter [around, in] that, Jesus could no [longer, publicly] enter into the city, but was [outside] in deserted places. And they came to [Jesus] from every quarter, [a.k.a. corner.]
