About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Mark 2:1-28 They Lower a Paralyzed Man to Jesus Through the Roof

They Lower a Paralyzed Man to Jesus Through the Roof

Mark 2:1-28          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

And after some days, [Jesus] again, entered into Capernaum. And it was [heard] that [Jesus] was in the house. And [right away] many were gathered together, [in] that there was no room to receive them. No, not [even any room around] the door. And [Jesus] preached to them.

And they [came] to [Jesus,] bringing [someone paralyzed, who] was [carried by the] 4. And when they couldn't come [close,] to [Jesus,] for the [crowd,] they uncovered the roof where He was.

And when they had broken [the roof] up, they let, [a.k.a. lowered,] down the bed [in which] the [paralytic] lay. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the sick of [paralysis,] Son, your sins [are] forgiven you.

But there were [some] of the scribes sitting there, reasoning in their hearts, Why does this Man speak [these] blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but only God? And immediately when Jesus [realized] in His Spirit, that they reasoned [this way] within themselves, He said to them, Why [do] you reason these things in your hearts?

[Which] is easier to say to the sick of [paralysis,] Your sins are forgiven you; or to say, Arise, & take up your bed, & walk? But, [so] that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, ([Jesus] said to the sick [with paralysis,) *I say to you, Arise, & take up your bed, & go [on] your way into your house.

And immediately, he arose, & took up the bed, & went [out in front of] them all. [Isaiah 35:4-6 Say to [those, with] fearful [hearts,] Be strong, & [don't] fear. [Look,] your God will come with vengeance, even God with [repayment.]

He will come & save you. *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man [shall] [jump like a rabbit,] & the tongue of the [mute,] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

[In light of] that, they were all amazed, & glorified God, saying, We [have] never [seen anything like this.] And [Jesus] went [out] again, by the seaside, & all the multitude [came] to Him, & He taught them.

And as [Jesus crossed] by, He saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the [tax office for customs,] & said to [Levi,] Follow Me. And [Levi, a.k.a. Matthew,] also arose & followed [Jesus.]

And it [happened,] that as Jesus sat at [dinner,] in [Levi's] house, many publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] & sinners also sat together with Jesus & His disciples. For there were many, & they followed Him.

And when the scribes & Pharisees saw [Jesus] eat with [tax collectors] & sinners, they said to [Jesus'] disciples, How is it that He eats & drinks with [tax collectors] & sinners? When Jesus heard it, He said to them, Those, [who] are whole, have no need of the physician, but [those, who] are sick. I [didn't come] to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

And the disciples of John, [a.k.a. John the Baptist,] & [the disciples] of the Pharisees, used to fast. And they [came] & said to [Jesus,] Why do the disciples of John, & of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples [don't] fast?

And Jesus said to them, Can the children of the [bride's room, a.k.a. as friends of the bridegroom,] fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can't fast. *But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, & then, they shall fast in those days.

[Mark 16:10-11 *And she, [a.k.a. Mary Magdalene,] went & told [those, who] wept & mourned, [who] had been with [Jesus.] And they, when they had heard [Jesus] was alive, & had been seen [by] her, [didn't believe.]

Also, no man [sews] a piece of new cloth [in] an old garment: else the new piece that filled up [the hole,] takes away from the old [material,] & the [tear] is made worse.

And no man [puts] new wine into old bottles: else the new wine [bursts] the bottles, & the wine is spilled. And the bottles will be marred, [a.k.a. damaged:] but new wine must be put into new bottles.

And it [happened,] that [Jesus] went through the corn fields on the Sabbath day. And as they went, His disciples began to pluck the ears of corn. And the Pharisees said to [Jesus, Look,] why do they [do] on the Sabbath Day, [what] isn't lawful?

And [Jesus] said to them, Haven't you [ever] read what David & [those who] were with him did, when he had need, & [were hungry?] How [David] went into the house of God, [during] the days of Abiathar, the high priest, & [ate] the shewbread, [that] isn't lawful to eat, but [only] for the priests.

And [David] also gave [it] to [those, who] were with him? And [Jesus] said to them, The Sabbath was made for man, & not man for the Sabbath. Therefore, the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.
