About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 19:1-48 Zacchaeus Meets Jesus Christ

Zacchaeus Meets Jesus Christ

Luke 19:1-48          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And Jesus entered, & passed through Jericho. And, [saw], a man there named Zacchaeus, [who] was [in charge] among the publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] & he was rich.

And [Zacchaeus] sought to see Jesus, & Who He was, & couldn't, [because] [of] the [crowd, since] he was [short.] And [Zacchaeus] ran [in front,] & climbed up into a [Sycamore] tree to see [Jesus.] For He was to pass that way.

And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up, & saw him. And said to him, Zacchaeus, [hurry,] & come down. For today, I must [stay] at your house. And [Zacchaeus hurried,] & came down, & received, [a.k.a. welcomed, Jesus] joyfully. And when they saw it, they all [grumbled,] saying, That [Jesus has] gone to be [a] guest with a man, [who] is a sinner.

And Zacchaeus stood, & said to the Lord: [See,] Lord, I [will] give: the half of my goods to the poor. And if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I [will] restore him fourfold, [a.k.a. 4 times as much.]

And Jesus said to [Zacchaeus,] This day, Salvation [comes] to this house, [since] he is also a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man [has] come to seek & to save that which was lost. [Romans 5:8-9 *But God [demonstrates] His love toward us, in that, while we were [still] sinners, Christ died for us. Now, being much more [than] justified by His blood, we shall be saved from [God's] wrath, through Him.]

*And as they heard these things, [Jesus] added & [spoke] a parable. [Psalm 78:1-4 [Listen,] O My people, to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old, [that] we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] the praises of the Lord, His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a.miracles,] He has done, to the generation to come.]

Because [Jesus] was [close] to Jerusalem, & they thought that the Kingdom of God should immediately appear, therefore [Jesus] said, A certain nobleman went into a [distant] country to receive a kingdom for himself, & to return.

And he called his 10 servants, & delivered 10 pounds [to each of] them, & said to them, Occupy, [a.k.a. Take up residence, until] I come. But his citizens hated him, & sent a message after him, saying, We won't have this man [rule] over us.

And it [happened,] that having received the kingdom, when he [had] returned, then he commanded these servants, whom he had given the money, to be called to him, [so] that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

Then, the 1st came, saying, Lord, your pound [has] gained 10 pounds. And he the [nobleman] said to him, Well [done,] you good servant. Because you have been faithful in very little, you [shall] have authority over 10 cities. And the 2nd came, saying, Lord, your pound [has] gained 5 pounds. And [similarly,] he said to him, You also be over 5 cities.

And another came, saying, Lord, [see,] here is your pound, which I have kept [safe] in a napkin. For I feared [for] you, because you [are] an austere, [a.k.a. harsh,] man; & you [take] up [what] you didn't [lay] down, & reap, [what] you didn't sow.

And [the nobleman said] to him, I will judge you [from] your own mouth, you wicked servant. You [knew] that I was [a harsh] man, taking up [what] I [didn't lay,] & reaping [what] I didn't sow. [Why] then, [didn't] you [give] my money to the bank, [so] that at my [arrival,] I might have [acquired my] own [money] with [interest?]

And [the nobleman] said to [those, who] stood [near] by, Take the pound from him, & give it to him, [who has] 10 pounds. (And they said to him, Lord, he [has] 10 pounds.) For I say to you, That to everyone, [who has,] shall be given. And from him, [who doesn't have,] even [what] he [has] shall be taken away from him. [1 Peter 4:[Like] every man [has] received the gift, even so, the same [shall] minister to one another, [like] good stewards, [about] the [plentiful] grace of God.]

But bring those, [my] enemies, [who didn't] [want] that I should [rule] over them, & slay them [in front of] me. [Revelation 22:12-15 *And, [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me, & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.

Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter into through the gates into the city. For [outside,] are: dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters, & [whoever] [loves] & makes [up lies.]

And when [Jesus] had spoken [this,] He went [in front, going] up to Jerusalem. And it [happened,] when [Jesus,] was at the mount, called the Mount of Olives, [close] to Bethphage, & Bethany, He sent 2 of His disciples.

*Saying, You, go into the village [across from] you, in which you shall find a colt tied, [as you enter, upon which no] man [has ever] sat. [Loosen] him, & bring him [here.] And if any man [asks] you, Why do you [loosen] him? You shall say  to him, Because the Lord has need of him. *And [those, who] were sent, went [on] their way, & found [it] even [like Jesus] had said to them.

*And as they were [loosening] the colt, [its] owners said to them, Why [do] you [loosen] the colt? And they said, The Lord [has] need of him. And they brought [the colt] to Jesus.

*And they [threw] their garments upon the colt, & they set Jesus [on it.] And as [Jesus] went, they spread their clothes [on] the [road.] [Zechariah 9:9 *Rejoice greatly, o daughter of Zion; & shout O daughter of Jerualem. [Look,] your King [comes] to you. He is just, & [has] Salvation; lowly, [a.k.a. humble,] & riding upon a [donkey] & upon a colt, the foal of a [donkey.]

And when [Jesus had] come [close,] even now [going down the slope] of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of disciples began to rejoice & praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works, [a.k.a. miracles,] that they had seen. *Saying, Blessed [is] the King, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord. Peace in heaven & glory in the highest. [Psalm 118:26 *Blessed [is] He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. We have blessed You out of the house of the Lord.]

And some of the Pharisees among the multitude said to [Jesus,] Master, [a.k.a. Teacher, scold] Your disciples. And [Jesus] answered, & said to them, I tell you that, if they should hold their peace, the very stones would immediately cry out.

And when [Jesus] had come near, He [saw] the city, & wept over it. Saying, Even if you [had] at least known, [on] this day, the things that belong to your peace! But now, they are [hidden] from your eyes. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who kill] the prophets, & [stone those, who] are sent to [warn] you.

How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen [gathers] her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] You shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord.]

*For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall [surround] you, & [throw] up [embankment around] you, & keep you in, [a.k.a. cut off,] on every side. And they shall lay you even with the ground, & your children within you.

And they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you [didn't know] the time of your visitation. [1 Kings 9:6-9 *But if you, or your children shall turn [away] from following Me, at all, & won't keep My commandments, & My [mandates, that] I have [put] before you, but go & serve other gods, & worship them: Then, I will cut off Israel out of the land, [that] I have given them.

And I will cast this house, out of My sight, [that] I have hallowed for My Name. And Israel shall be a [platitude] & [notorious] among all people. And everyone who passes by this [lofty] house, shall be astonished, & shall hiss.

*And they shall say, Why [has] the Lord done [this] to this land, & to this house? And they shall answer, Because they [abandoned] the Lord their God, Who brought [out] their [forefathers from] the land of Egypt, & have [clung] to other gods, & have worshiped & served them. Therefore, the Lord [has] brought all this evil upon them.]

And [Jesus] went into the temple, & began to [throw] out [those, who] sold & bought [in it.] Saying to them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.

[Isaiah 56:7 I will bring to My Holy mountain, even those, & will make them joyful in My house of prayer, & their burnt offerings, & their sacrifices shall be accepted upon [My] altar. For [My] house shall be called [a] house of prayer for all people.]

And [Jesus] taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests, scribes, & [leaders] of the people, sought to destroy [Jesus,] & couldn't find what they might do. For all the people were very [interested in hearing Jesus.]
